When finally put together, this bed looks much more expensive than actual cost. I could not be more pleased with this purchase. It is deserving of 5 stars for sure!!! That being said, I give it 0 stars for the instructions and recommendations for bed slats. I hired a very savvy professional handyman to put this together for us; thank goodness. He determined early on that instructions were misleading and mis-numbered. The three slats were a joke; he added numerous slats and a 3/4" piece of plywood. I did not want the mattress below the lip of the bed rim, and did not want a box spring. So we added another 3/4" plywood. Our 12" AmeriSleep mattress now sits flush with the rim. It is a classy and comfortable bed. Just the instructions are lacking. If you are handy about such projects, or can hire a handyman, I highly recommend!! I'll add photos when I get night stands and bed spread in place.
Love this bed! We have limited storage space, so this is ideal to have the drawers underneath.

I love the bed! I just have a few tips and things I’ve noticed. First the bed is SUPER high now with the box spring. Like anyone under 5 feet may need a ladder (or a running start). But to fix that I can look into removing the box spring and adding more slats or finding a shorter box spring. It’s not high on my list since I’m over 5 feet and can get into the bed just fine. The second thing was I read the other reviews and followed the advice of skipping the drawer assembly until the bed is put together.... which as you can tell by the picture once the bed was assembled I gave up and the drawers are still in the box... I’ll be working on them later. Because I’m tired from putting the bed together by myself. Which brings me the the third thing, I put the bed together myself. So it’s totally do-able. It did however take me 4-5hrs to do (not including the drawers because again I got tired). I mean I had the option of waiting for my wife to come home, but I wanted to save our marriage and choose to do it solo. But I did sweat a lot, curse a lot, and my dogs got in my way a lot. And then after it was ALL done I stepped on one the wooden boards the drawer area and broke it. So I was pretty mad. But hey I’m a girl and I can get mad at the small stuff so it’s ok. So all n all it is do able to do it by yourself. Just take your time reading and really LOOKING at the pictures. It will be worth it in the end.

This bed is really beautiful, well made, and the storage is ideal. The drawers are nice and deep, and although some complained they were falling apart, mine aren't overly packed and glide nicely. No issues yet with the drawers! I will say that the reviews are right with how awful the instructions are. It took my husband 5.5 hours to put together. The good thing was that we had listened to other reviews when it came to how to assemble parts of the bed and the drawers, thank God! The drawers are mislabeled, but if you put all the pieces out and step back it is like building legos and you can see which pieces go where. Definitely use a power tool, this probably saved my husband 2 extra hours. Overall the assembly is difficult, but once finished it looks amazing. I ended up not using my box spring, only because my mattress with the pillow top made the bed to high. We bought a piece of plywood that my husband cut to fit the bed, and that did the trick. It is very comfortable and the mattress sits perfectly on top, I bought a new comforter and pillows and I am really loving the look. I do highly recommend this, but you will have to be patient with the assembly :)

I saw the dimensions online but in person, the headboard was still a little shorter than I thought it would be. But overall, looks great, works great in our space - perfect!

Beds are very nice. Delivery was quick and items were in perfect condition. However once I opened the box, I realized incorrect color was shipped to me. Thankfully I was able to work with grey beds.... The only complain would be the latch for bottom drawers. Its a little tricky to close them , especially for kids.

Totally 5 stars. This is one SOLID bed. I kid you not. Headboard is heavy as is every part of the bed. Once assembled, it will not move. If you are 1 and think you can put it together with no help, I would think twice. We love the look. We love how sturdy it is. Got a king and just wow. Lots of complements on the bed. Love the storage. One drawer on each side and two drawers on the end of the bed provide so much storage. The drawers slide so easily. Just incredible. I am so very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend this bed and any of the pieces in the set. Awesome craftsmanship. You won't regret it.

My husband and I had to drill some new holes to make this headboard work on our queen frame, but it worked out. Due to the headboard's height, we also added some sticky felt pads to the back, so it wouldn't mess up the wall, as it shifted when we get in and out of bed. We purchased the whole set of this furniture and it is SO pretty. Sturdy! Well built. We love it!
Excellent quality bed. Very heavy and looks beautiful. A little more brown in person than it looks in the pictures but thats exactly how we wanted it anyway. It was delivered missing some hardware so we are still waiting to fully assemble it but hardware is shipping free asap and we are very happy with this purchase overall!

Love this piece. It is definitely large and bulky. My dog cannot jump on to the bed because it is so high due to the drawers. Drawers are a bit tricky, but this piece is sturdy and has survived two moves already.
I had the king-sized platform bed...we are downsizing a bit, love the remainder of the furniture in this set, so bought this headboard. LOVE IT! It is very well made, weighs a ton, and fits perfectly in to our decor.
