I will never own a mattress from another place. Before I got my TMM King mattress I never actually knew what a good nights sleep felt like. Youval spent over an hour with me while I tested out mattresses and he evaluated how I sleep (yes - picking out the right mattress for yourself involves mini naps, I highly recommend this as a weekend activity, it's wonderful). I thought I liked super soft mattresses, turns out I really don't. Youval prescribed the best mattress for me to have the best sleep - I would honestly call him a sleep doctor. You must go see him. I've traveled all over the world, and the place I love most in the world 100% is my TMM bed. My boyfriend feels the same way! I honestly think he will propose to me in this bed because we both agree it's our favorite place in the whole wide world. Let me tell you, there is nothing comparable to taking a shower and slipping into your TMM bed all clean and ready for a great nights sleep or snuggling up to watch a movie. My cat loves this bed so much she sleep under the covers every night and will nap on it all day long. We pretty much live our whole life in this bed. We never want to leave it. We look forward to getting home and getting in to bed. We recommend TMM to all of our friends and they all regret it if they didn't take our advice. These guys are sneaky. After reviewing the website some, I took the quiz on their site. It suggested the Berlin, so I went to the showroom downtown and asked to see the Berlin. An associate suggested I try another. It felt great for the the minute I was on it. I bought it and took it home. Ive never shopped for a mattress. I wish they had told me to lay on it a while. That mattress was too soft. I brought it back because the website indicated that if you werent comfortable, you bring it back, pay a restocking fee. I exchanged for a very firm mattress upon the suggestion of Jeff, the customer service guy. He said you can always make a mattress softer. I was exhausted from months of insomnia, wasnt thinking well, wanted to go home with a mattress, took his suggestion and after more insomnia, realized I didnt want to pay the high prices for a topper much less wash them. I want a mattress that works as is. So I brought it back where I FINALLY got a chance to try Berlin. I did ask if I could see all the other mattresses on the floor but was told that would 'complicate' things. I slept on it while in the showroom for a long time. It was fine. I had told them I wanted my dog to sleep with me. They didnt ask how much he weighed. He weighs almost as much as me. So, the bed is too soft when we're on it. I. Trusted. This. Company. to guide me and help me find a mattress. Why didnt they let me view more mattresses?????? Why didnt they TELL me these mattresses are for temporary use for adults in a guestroom or regular use for kids or that sleeping on them can cause misalignment and health issues as the site mentions? Why did Jeff insist this mattress is not an innerspring when it clearly is? I was deceived regardless of what spin Jeff put on it in his email. Why not tell me the policy? He said I signed the receipt that says 'promotional' mattresses or 'guestroom' mattresses cant be returned. The website CLEARLY conveys that all mattresses can be returned. Sneaeaeaeakkkkky. Wanna buy a mattress? I'm hauling it around in my van fully in plastic. Slept on it 5 nights. I'm sleeping on my camp mat til I can recoup the cost of this one. Jeff was rude in his email and tried to make it out like this was all my fault. Whatever. I thought you guys were old school customer service. That's why I went there. I wanna talk to Youval.
I'm writing this review with all hopes that I will be able to update with a positive resolution. Last February I purchased one of the higher end, king mattresses. The sales experience was pretty good. It didn't feel super pushy or anything. I got the mattress home and had 'body imprints' within a month or two and full blown sagging in maybe 6 months. Not it feels like I'm sleeping in a cbowl and it hurts my back and disrupts my sleep. I feel ripped off. For the nearly 3 grand I spent (including delivery and taxes), I shouldn't be contemplating moving to my $350 ikea mattress in the guest room. Update: TMM sent someone out to check out my mattress. It looks like my bed is missing the slats (it was delivered and set up incorrectly by a furniture store). They're going to fix my bed and replace the broken box springs. I'm very happy with the outcome.

My husband and I went here before Thanksgiving for a new full mattress. The salesperson was clear and precise and was able to point out the differences in the feel of the mattresses that we could really identify. As a teacher who watches every dollar, I came out of there feeling that I had paid an extremely fair price for a quality product.

My stuff was just delivered. I just moved back from out of state. Was referred to this company through friends and family. I was going to get a bed that came in a box but was over whelmed online with all of the ads and figured I needed to lay on it first. I arrived at the factory on the east side of Houston down the street from my favorite Mexican food spot Ninfas. The place is cool for real! I was greeted by Jeff the store manager who walked me through the differences of components and options for me being a side sleeper. We arrived at the Cannes ET and that felt the best. He then walked away and came back with some memory foam to add to the mattress to make it even more comfortable for me. I didn't think that was even possible. I met the owner as well and he showed me the furniture side. I was able to make a one stop shop and get a couch as well in their factory. The price was very fair in my opinion and I felt like I was dealing with a knowledgeable professional not a used car salesman. Cool place. Glad the movers wore a mask too.

I purchased mattress and box spring based on commercials, TV exposure, etc. The advisor recommended the wringbheught box spring ... and I notified them when it was delivered. The guy u spoke w on the phone said they don't make the uniform heights and I SHOULD have been advised accordingly. Nevertheless. They made me pay to have the correct 1 delivered. After sleeping on the mattress I really didn't like it. I went back to the store and spoke w the same guy who sold me the mattress. He said I needed to walk on it to break it in. W..t..f ?!!? Never heard such nonsense in my life.
This review is for the River Oaks Mattress. The date is now October 4, 2020. My repaired mattress is sloping horribly on the left side and starting to slope on the right side, I slept on the floor due to my lower back hurting. I bought this bed so my back would not hurt not for it to make the pain worse. When I have to sleep on the floor because of a mattress I bought that is barely 3 years old there is a problem!! Needless, to say I no longer want a replacement mattress or to have this mattress fixed a 2nd time. I have since sucked up the cost and ordered a Tempur Pedic I really wanted this mattress to work!
We just purchased a King Esteem mattress, and it was by far the best buying experience we've ever had! They have a great selection to choose from and our sales Rep Lax, was not only extremely knowledgeable about all of the mattresses and how each one supported the sleeper, but he was absolutely hilarious! The staff was very nice but our bed was hard as a rock. I was originally told to let it break in, but a year later and it's still as hard as the day we got it. While they were willing to give us a discount on another mattress, I wasn't about to spend any additional money on 'trying again'. Unfortunate because we were super excited to shop local and get (what we thought) would be a great mattress. *And yes, we bought their top of the line model.
If you want to WIN with your purchase don't get sidetracked with the talking salesman. Make sure you read the fine print. I called 3 days before and thought I asked all the right Questions. My husband was recovering from three broken ribs we need a new mattress so I thought I would get an adjustable bed frame. Texas mattress makers is highly recommended on the Deborah Duncan show so that was the reason that I wanted to purchase from them. I asked the sales person several times if this didn't work out for my husband could I return it including the adjustable bed frame he said yes and explained to me that will be at 18% restocking fee. I said OK never did he reiterate the return policy on the adjustable frame. So today I called to return everything because the bed is not comfortable we're going to wait until my husband is feeling much better so that he can go in and try out the mattresses so we can get the right one. Only to find out that not only am I being charged 18% restocking fee the adjustable bed frame is not a returnable items. When I refreshed the salesperson JB about our conversation and informed him of what he said he only came back with it's the companies policy. With this said don't get caught up with the sleeptime you have a 90 to 100 days to try out the mattresses because really you're paying for it. Just take your time so you can make the right purchase. Read for your self and check other companies and compare return policies. Needless to say very disappointing.

I've forgotten his name but the young gentleman took great care of us; explaining the differences between mattresses, answering questions without problem, asking questions & explaining different things to meet our needs. They delivered and those guys were also excellent - on time, fast, careful, attentive & professional, etc... All around great service. This mattress is soooooooo comfortable and we are sleeping much better. We'll contact this place for another mattress when we setup my great grandmother's cast iron bed frame in the spare room.

Our physician recommended a 'zero gravity' bed to help with chronic back issues. Not having shopped for such an item before (we actually purchased our last mattress about ten years ago), the experience was an education in itself, given today's technology. Our preference was a 'split king,' basically two extra-long twins with separate mechanisms and remote controllers. Essentially, two manufacturers dominate this component of the market ... Tempur-Pedic and Sleep Number. The former sets its prices, so whether you shop at Gallery, Mattress Firm or any other retailer, you'll pay the same. The latter operates its own stores, so there's no competition there either. Not coincidentally, they sell for about the same amount ... somewhere between $6k and $7k (I've bought cars for less than that)! Enter Texas Mattress Makers. The factory showroom is nothing fancy, but all models are displayed, with prices clearly marked, unlike the big-box guys. We were helped by Diego, who answered all our questions about construction (virtually identical to the brand names), quality (10 yr. warranty), delivery and setup (included in price) and time frame (about 10 days, as everything is made to order). We opted for the better frame (does pretty much everything but turn on your coffeemaker and start your car), and bottom line, paid less than half of what the other retailers were charging. Even more of a saving was the fact that, unlike the competition, they do not charge for two XL twins, but rather just a king, be it single or split. All-in-all, we paid just under $2900 for a set that would have cost us about $7000 elsewhere. Doing business with a local company is always preferred ... and given that they've donated hundreds of products to various charitable endeavors makes it even better. What's more, if an employee needs a mattress, they'll give him/her a floor model at no charge and replace it with a new one in the showroom ... pretty cool. The bed was delivered as promised, and the guys set everything up, checking to make certain that all worked as designed. We got a quick lesson in operation of the remote, were reminded to register the frame with the manufacturer that warranties it ... total time about twenty minutes. We've had it for just over a month, and are thoroughly satisfied. This is your go-to place for your next mattress purchase.

My elderly parents bought a mattress from this company on May 9th of this year (202. Upon arrival my mother noticed stitching undone in the middle of the mattress as well as a large lump, but per instructions they waited a month to 'let the mattress settled', It never settled and the lump remains. So as required in the warranty my mother sent in an email regarding the state of the mattress. Weeks went by and no response so she finally called. She spoke to several people and was then transferred to Juan who is in charge of emails she as told. He informed her he saw her email (but never replied) and told her she could come in to see if shed like to purchase another mattress? Or she could bring the mattress back in for repair or pay for a delivery service to bring it back to their warehouse for the repairing. My parents are in their 70's so theres no way they can transport a mattress on their own. My parents shouldnt have been given a damaged mattress to begin with nor had to deal with the stress of trying to get the one delivered repaired. I live in NYC and in case youve been in a coma we are in the middle of a pandemic and now not only am I having to worry about my parents health but also that they are being taking advantage of and cant get proper sleep on a lumpy mattress. UPDATE JULY 16th 2020 A replacement mattress was delivered and the damaged mattress was removed with no extra charges. My mother is pleased and so am I. Thank you for helping out in this stressful time.

I've forgotten his name but the young gentleman took great care of us; explaining the differences between mattresses, answering questions without problem, asking questions & explaining different things to meet our needs. They delivered and those guys were also excellent - on time, fast, careful, attentive & professional, etc... All around great service. This mattress is soooooooo comfortable and we are sleeping much better. We'll contact this place for another mattress when we setup my great grandmother's cast iron bed frame in the spare room.

I ordered my new mattress a week ago and it was delivered exactly on time and with no issues. Due to covid, I was nervous to have anyone in my house but I could not have felt more comfortable. They wore masks and booties on their shoes! I had a window from 2-4 and when I say they showed up at 2:05 I am not kidding! The driver Al called me to confirm delivery and then again when he was 15 minutes away! Noah helped through the process of buying this bed as well and I can't thank them enough! I was going to get a bed that came in a box but was over whelmed online with all of the ads and figured I needed to lay on it first. I arrived at the factory on the east side of Houston down the street from my favorite Mexican food spot Ninfas. The place is cool for real! I was greeted by Jeff the store manager who walked me through the differences of components and options for me being a side sleeper. We arrived at the Cannes ET and that felt the best. He then walked away and came back with some memory foam to add to the mattress to make it even more comfortable for me. I didn't think that was even possible. I met the owner as well and he showed me the furniture side. I was able to make a one stop shop and get a couch as well in their factory. The price was very fair in my opinion and I felt like I was dealing with a knowledgeable professional not a used car salesman. Cool place. Glad the movers wore a mask too.
I will never own a mattress from another place. Before I got my TMM King mattress I never actually knew what a good nights sleep felt like. Youval spent over an hour with me while I tested out mattresses and he evaluated how I sleep (yes - picking out the right mattress for yourself involves mini naps, I highly recommend this as a weekend activity, it's wonderful). I thought I liked super soft mattresses, turns out I really don't. Youval prescribed the best mattress for me to have the best sleep - I would honestly call him a sleep doctor. You must go see him. I've traveled all over the world, and the place I love most in the world 100% is my TMM bed. My boyfriend feels the same way! I honestly think he will propose to me in this bed because we both agree it's our favorite place in the whole wide world. Let me tell you, there is nothing comparable to taking a shower and slipping into your TMM bed all clean and ready for a great nights sleep or snuggling up to watch a movie. My cat loves this bed so much she sleep under the covers every night and will nap on it all day long. We pretty much live our whole life in this bed. We never want to leave it. We look forward to getting home and getting in to bed. We recommend TMM to all of our friends and they all regret it if they didn't take our advice. Don't make the wrong decision and go somewhere else - go Texas Mattress Makers all the way!

It looks like my bed is missing the slats (it was delivered and set up incorrectly by a furniture store). They're going to fix my bed and replace the broken box springs. I'm very happy with the outcome.

I've forgotten his name but the young gentleman took great care of us; explaining the differences between mattresses, answering questions without problem, asking questions & explaining different things to meet our needs. They delivered and those guys were also excellent - on time, fast, careful, attentive & professional, etc... All around great service. This mattress is soooooooo comfortable and we are sleeping much better. We'll contact this place for another mattress when we setup my great grandmother's cast iron bed frame in the spare room.
We received our new bed yesterday, delivered on time that was promised! We purchased the Queen size London mattress with adjustable frame, and I will tell your OMG the best mattress we have every purchased! Best night sleep in years! The quality is 5 star all the way! Thank you Marco for helping us find the perfect mattress and adjustable bed frame. We will refer Texas Mattress Makers to everyone . This Mattress was made for us and it shows!

Tempur-Pedic and Sleep Number. The former sets its prices, so whether you shop at Gallery, Mattress Firm or any other retailer, you'll pay the same. The latter operates its own stores, so there's no competition there either. Not coincidentally, they sell for about the same amount ... somewhere between $6k and $7k (I've bought cars for less than that)! Enter Texas Mattress Makers. The factory showroom is nothing fancy, but all models are displayed, with prices clearly marked, unlike the big-box guys. We were helped by Diego, who answered all our questions about construction (virtually identical to the brand names), quality (10 yr. warranty), delivery and setup (included in price) and time frame (about 10 days, as everything is made to order). We opted for the better frame (does pretty much everything but turn on your coffeemaker and start your car), and bottom line, paid less than half of what the other retailers were charging. Even more of a saving was the fact that, unlike the competition, they do not charge for two XL twins, but rather just a king, be it single or split. All-in-all, we paid just under $2900 for a set that would have cost us about $7000 elsewhere. Doing business with a local company is always preferred ... and given that they've donated hundreds of products to various charitable endeavors makes it even better. I had back surgery in June....another procedure in July..home for 3 months...only relief was by sleeping sitting up on couch...my wife went to the Katy store....bought a new mattress....got it home...too hard..they came and took it back...then we decided to get dual mattress sections so she could lay flat and I can elevate my head and feet...out they came and changed it all out...no pain...sleeping great...our only problem is that our dog loves the vibration motion and will not lovingly give up his place without grumbling about it...he loves this bed...and so do we...thank you so much to Jeff and his crew at the Katy store for all of you help and kindness...you have our business...thank you..thank you..thank you..Sabra and Peary Perry ...Richmond, TX

Brand new mattress and worst night sleep ever. I might as well have slept on the concrete floor. The website says that it may take 90 days to soften up another 20% (which would be about like laying on a sleeping bag on a concrete floor). The mattress in NOTHING like the floor model. Definitely returning this and purchasing something elsewhere even though I will be losing a huge chunk for restocking. A decent night sleep is worth much much more than that. I shopped for months to find a mattress, read great reviews on Texas Mattress Makers and was happy to purchase a mattress that was locally made but after last night, I'll buy something from China before I sleep on this mattress again.

While they were willing to give us a discount on another mattress, I wasn't about to spend any additional money on 'trying again'. Just purchased a king bed from Texas Mattress Makers. Lax inquired about our current bed and why we were there. Then he had us try several beds laying on back and side, since that is how we sleep. He helped us narrow our search to two beds. Showed us a cut out of the difference in the two and then left us to lay and rest on beds. Since they custom make the beds we had one half one bed type and the other the other! Bed is to be delivered on Friday. I will update review after have had bed delivered and we have slept on it for a while.

This review is for the River Oaks Mattress. The date is now October 4, 2020. My repaired mattress is sloping horribly on the left side and starting to slope on the right side, I slept on the floor due to my lower back hurting. I bought this bed so my back would not hurt not for it to make the pain worse. When I have to sleep on the floor because of a mattress I bought that is barely 3 years old there is a problem!! Needless, to say I no longer want a replacement mattress or to have this mattress fixed a 2nd time. I have since sucked up the cost and ordered a Tempur Pedic I really wanted this mattress to work!

Customer service is defined here! I picked out a bed that I thought I would like. Jeff spent all the time in the world helping me. Unfortunately, I didn't know what I really liked. During the break in period (he called to check on me), I let him know I didn't like it. He assured me that he would get me the right bed and wouldn't stop until I was sleeping good. The Baybrook store opened and I explained my situation and SAME customer service from Lax. Both places treat you like family not customers! They made a new custom bed based on my feedback and charged me nothing. Delivery guys were even awesome! I LOVE my new mattress and haven't slept this good in years. You are all amazing. Thanks for such an awesome experience and being so patient and going above and beyond to make things right! Highly recommend for anyone searching for the perfect nights sleep!

These guys are sneaky. After reviewing the website some, I took the quiz on their site. It suggested the Berlin, so I went to the showroom downtown and asked to see the Berlin. An associate suggested I try another. It felt great for the the minute I was on it. I bought it and took it home. Ive never shopped for a mattress. I wish they had told me to lay on it a while. That mattress was too soft. I brought it back because the website indicated that if you werent comfortable, you bring it back, pay a restocking fee. I exchanged for a very firm mattress upon the suggestion of Jeff, the customer service guy. He said you can always make a mattress softer. I was exhausted from months of insomnia, wasnt thinking well, wanted to go home with a mattress, took his suggestion and after more insomnia, realized I didnt want to pay the high prices for a topper much less wash them. I want a mattress that works as is. So I brought it back where I FINALLY got a chance to try Berlin. I did ask if I could see all the other mattresses on the floor but was told that would 'complicate' things. I slept on it while in the showroom for a long time. It was fine. I had told them I wanted my dog to sleep with me. They didnt ask how much he weighed. He weighs almost as much as me. So, the bed is too soft when we're on it. I. Trusted. This. Company. to guide me and help me find a mattress. Why didnt they let me view more mattresses?????? Why didnt they TELL me these mattresses are for temporary use for adults in a guestroom or regular use for kids or that sleeping on them can cause misalignment and health issues as the site mentions? Why did Jeff insist this mattress is not an innerspring when it clearly is? I was deceived regardless of what spin Jeff put on it in his email. Why not tell me the policy? He said I signed the receipt that says 'promotional' mattresses or 'guestroom' mattresses cant be returned. The website CLEARLY conveys that all mattresses can be returned. Sneaeaeaeakkkkky. Wanna buy a mattress? I'm hauling it around in my van fully in plastic. Slept on it 5 nights. I'm sleeping on my camp mat til I can recoup the cost of this one. Jeff was rude in his email and tried to make it out like this was all my fault. Whatever. I thought you guys were old school customer service. That's why I went there. I wanna talk to Youval.

Mattresses in showroom are significantly softer than what is delivered. So be aware that they will charge 18% plus a delivery fee to return a mattress & that 90 day trial on a $3000 mattress will cost more than six hundred dollars. Our first visit after delivery my wife was asked if she understood physics and then that she should go home and jump on her new bed to soften it up. If that didn't work go buy a mattress topper. This wasn't our first mattress to buy, but it was by far the worst.

These guys are sneaky. After reviewing the website some, I took the quiz on their site. It suggested the Berlin, so I went to the showroom downtown and asked to see the Berlin. An associate suggested I try another. It felt great for the the minute I was on it. I bought it and took it home. Ive never shopped for a mattress. I wish they had told me to lay on it a while. That mattress was too soft. I brought it back because the website indicated that if you werent comfortable, you bring it back, pay a restocking fee. I exchanged for a very firm mattress upon the suggestion of Jeff, the customer service guy. He said you can always make a mattress softer. I was exhausted from months of insomnia, wasnt thinking well, wanted to go home with a mattress, took his suggestion and after more insomnia, realized I didnt want to pay the high prices for a topper much less wash them. I want a mattress that works as is. So I brought it back where I FINALLY got a chance to try Berlin. I did ask if I could see all the other mattresses on the floor but was told that would 'complicate' things. I slept on it while in the showroom for a long time. It was fine. I had told them I wanted my dog to sleep with me. They didnt ask how much he weighed. He weighs almost as much as me. So, the bed is too soft when we're on it. I. Trusted. This. Company. to guide me and help me find a mattress. Why didnt they let me view more mattresses?????? Why didnt they TELL me these mattresses are for temporary use for adults in a guestroom or regular use for kids or that sleeping on them can cause misalignment and health issues as the site mentions? Why did Jeff insist this mattress is not an innerspring when it clearly is? I was deceived regardless of what spin Jeff put on it in his email. Why not tell me the policy? He said I signed the receipt that says 'promotional' mattresses or 'guestroom' mattresses cant be returned. The website CLEARLY conveys that all mattresses can be returned. Sneaeaeaeakkkkky. Wanna buy a mattress? I'm hauling it around in my van fully in plastic. Slept on it 5 nights. I'm sleeping on my camp mat til I can recoup the cost of this one. Jeff was rude in his email and tried to make it out like this was all my fault. Whatever. I thought you guys were old school customer service. That's why I went there. I wanna talk to Youval.
I went in thinking I was going to have to order a custom mattress for my antique bed. JB drew out how I could measure and use 2x4s to adjust bed frame to utilize a standard full size mattress. Then I went back and Lax helped me get the most comfortable mattress not just for my 4YO but for me as well. Great product and service!
Brand new mattress and worst night sleep ever. I might as well have slept on the concrete floor. The website says that it may take 90 days to soften up another 20% (which would be about like laying on a sleeping bag on a concrete floor). The mattress in NOTHING like the floor model. Definitely returning this and purchasing something elsewhere even though I will be losing a huge chunk for restocking. A decent night sleep is worth much much more than that. I shopped for months to find a mattress, read great reviews on Texas Mattress Makers and was happy to purchase a mattress that was locally made but after last night, I'll buy something from China before I sleep on this mattress again.
I'm writing this review with all hopes that I will be able to update with a positive resolution. Last February I purchased one of the higher end, king mattresses. The sales experience was pretty good. It didn't feel super pushy or anything. I got the mattress home and had 'body imprints' within a month or two and full blown sagging in maybe 6 months. Not it feels like I'm sleeping in a cbowl and it hurts my back and disrupts my sleep. I feel ripped off. For the nearly 3 grand I spent (including delivery and taxes), I shouldn't be contemplating moving to my $350 ikea mattress in the guest room. Update: TMM sent someone out to check out my mattress. It looks like my bed is missing the slats (it was delivered and set up incorrectly by a furniture store). They're going to fix my bed and replace the broken box springs. I'm very happy with the outcome.
The staff was very nice but our bed was hard as a rock. I was originally told to let it break in, but a year later and it's still as hard as the day we got it. While they were willing to give us a discount on another mattress, I wasn't about to spend any additional money on 'trying again'. Unfortunate because we were super excited to shop local and get (what we thought) would be a great mattress. *And yes, we bought their top of the line model.

They wore masks and booties on their shoes! I had a window from 2-4 and when I say they showed up at 2:05 I am not kidding! The driver Al called me to confirm delivery and then again when he was 15 minutes away! Noah helped through the process of buying this bed as well and I can't thank them enough! My stuff was just delivered. I just moved back from out of state. Was referred to this company through friends and family. I was going to get a bed that came in a box but was over whelmed online with all of the ads and figured I needed to lay on it first. I arrived at the factory on the east side of Houston down the street from my favorite Mexican food spot Ninfas. The place is cool for real! I was greeted by Jeff the store manager who walked me through the differences of components and options for me being a side sleeper. We arrived at the Cannes ET and that felt the best. He then walked away and came back with some memory foam to add to the mattress to make it even more comfortable for me. I didn't think that was even possible. I met the owner as well and he showed me the furniture side. I was able to make a one stop shop and get a couch as well in their factory. The price was very fair in my opinion and I felt like I was dealing with a knowledgeable professional not a used car salesman. Cool place. Glad the movers wore a mask too.

Upon arrival my mother noticed stitching undone in the middle of the mattress as well as a large lump, but per instructions they waited a month to 'let the mattress settled', It never settled and the lump remains. So as required in the warranty my mother sent in an email regarding the state of the mattress. Weeks went by and no response so she finally called. She spoke to several people and was then transferred to Juan who is in charge of emails she as told. He informed her he saw her email (but never replied) and told her she could come in to see if shed like to purchase another mattress? Or she could bring the mattress back in for repair or pay for a delivery service to bring it back to their warehouse for the repairing. My parents are in their 70's so theres no way they can transport a mattress on their own. My parents shouldnt have been given a damaged mattress to begin with nor had to deal with the stress of trying to get the one delivered repaired. I live in NYC and in case youve been in a coma we are in the middle of a pandemic and now not only am I having to worry about my parents health but also that they are being taking advantage of and cant get proper sleep on a lumpy mattress. UPDATE JULY 16th 2020 A replacement mattress was delivered and the damaged mattress was removed with no extra charges. My mother is pleased and so am I. Thank you for helping out in this stressful time.

My repaired mattress is sloping horribly on the left side and starting to slope on the right side, I slept on the floor due to my lower back hurting. I will never own a mattress from another place. Before I got my TMM King mattress I never actually knew what a good nights sleep felt like. Youval spent over an hour with me while I tested out mattresses and he evaluated how I sleep (yes - picking out the right mattress for yourself involves mini naps, I highly recommend this as a weekend activity, it's wonderful). I thought I liked super soft mattresses, turns out I really don't. Youval prescribed the best mattress for me to have the best sleep - I would honestly call him a sleep doctor. You must go see him. I've traveled all over the world, and the place I love most in the world 100% is my TMM bed. My boyfriend feels the same way! I honestly think he will propose to me in this bed because we both agree it's our favorite place in the whole wide world. Let me tell you, there is nothing comparable to taking a shower and slipping into your TMM bed all clean and ready for a great nights sleep or snuggling up to watch a movie. My cat loves this bed so much she sleep under the covers every night and will nap on it all day long. We pretty much live our whole life in this bed. We never want to leave it. We look forward to getting home and getting in to bed. We recommend TMM to all of our friends and they all regret it if they didn't take our advice. Don't make the wrong decision and go somewhere else - go Texas Mattress Makers all the way!

Our physician recommended a 'zero gravity' bed to help with chronic back issues. Not having shopped for such an item before (we actually purchased our last mattress about ten years ago), the experience was an education in itself, given today's technology. Our preference was a 'split king,' basically two extra-long twins with separate mechanisms and remote controllers. Essentially, two manufacturers dominate this component of the market ... Tempur-Pedic and Sleep Number. The former sets its prices, so whether you shop at Gallery, Mattress Firm or any other retailer, you'll pay the same. The latter operates its own stores, so there's no competition there either. Not coincidentally, they sell for about the same amount ... somewhere between $6k and $7k (I've bought cars for less than that)! Enter Texas Mattress Makers. The factory showroom is nothing fancy, but all models are displayed, with prices clearly marked, unlike the big-box guys. We were helped by Diego, who answered all our questions about construction (virtually identical to the brand names), quality (10 yr. warranty), delivery and setup (included in price) and time frame (about 10 days, as everything is made to order). We opted for the better frame (does pretty much everything but turn on your coffeemaker and start your car), and bottom line, paid less than half of what the other retailers were charging. Even more of a saving was the fact that, unlike the competition, they do not charge for two XL twins, but rather just a king, be it single or split. All-in-all, we paid just under $2900 for a set that would have cost us about $7000 elsewhere. Doing business with a local company is always preferred ... and given that they've donated hundreds of products to various charitable endeavors makes it even better. What's more, if an employee needs a mattress, they'll give him/her a floor model at no charge and replace it with a new one in the showroom ... pretty cool. The bed was delivered as promised, and the guys set everything up, checking to make certain that all worked as designed. We got a quick lesson in operation of the remote, were reminded to register the frame with the manufacturer that warranties it ... total time about twenty minutes. We've had it for just over a month, and are thoroughly satisfied. This is your go-to place for your next mattress purchase.

I was in the need of a mattress and after having surgery found that I was in need of a new mattress sooner rather than later. In my search for a new mattress I found that most stores were out of stock, too expensive or had a long wait time for delivery due. I went to Texas Mattress Makers upon the recommendation of my mother, and upon entering the showroom I was greeted my Neata. She was very nice and knowledgeable. She did not pressure me or try to sell me a more expensive mattress than what I needed. I was going to think about it over night and ended up going back the same day to buy a king mattress (London Plush Top) with an adjustable base. The mattress was purchased on a Friday and was delivered the following Saturday. The day before delivery they called to give me a delivery window of 2:30 to 4:30 pm. On the day of the delivery I received 2 phones calls to let me know they were on the way and they arrived around 2:30 pm. The delivery guys installed the adjustable bases and mattress and gave me a tutorial. They also took away my old mattress and box spring. Since they had to take the mattress out of plastic I did have to let it air out for a few days with my windows open and fan on as it had a new smell. I have been getting the best night sleep I've had in a while since being able to sleep on the mattress. Not sure if that is the case with all the mattresses but some may find this as an inconvenience if they do not have a spare room to sleep in if they can't stand the smell as I did. I highly recommend purchasing your next mattress at Texas Mattress Makers.

My mattress did not live up to the expectations, over the months mattress started to lump up and very uncomfortable to sleep on. I have back problems and I am in pain every morning . I guess I should of got a warranty on mattress.

An associate suggested I try another. It felt great for the the minute I was on it. I bought it and took it home. Ive never shopped for a mattress. I wish they had told me to lay on it a while. That mattress was too soft. I brought it back because the website indicated that if you werent comfortable, you bring it back, pay a restocking fee. I exchanged for a very firm mattress upon the suggestion of Jeff, the customer service guy. He said you can always make a mattress softer. I was exhausted from months of insomnia, wasnt thinking well, wanted to go home with a mattress, took his suggestion and after more insomnia, realized I didnt want to pay the high prices for a topper much less wash them. I want a mattress that works as is. So I brought it back where I FINALLY got a chance to try Berlin. I did ask if I could see all the other mattresses on the floor but was told that would 'complicate' things. I slept on it while in the showroom for a long time. It was fine. I had told them I wanted my dog to sleep with me. They didnt ask how much he weighed. He weighs almost as much as me. So, the bed is too soft when we're on it. I. Trusted. This. Company. to guide me and help me find a mattress. Why didnt they let me view more mattresses?????? Why didnt they TELL me these mattresses are for temporary use for adults in a guestroom or regular use for kids or that sleeping on them can cause misalignment and health issues as the site mentions? Why did Jeff insist this mattress is not an innerspring when it clearly is? I was deceived regardless of what spin Jeff put on it in his email. Why not tell me the policy? He said I signed the receipt that says 'promotional' mattresses or 'guestroom' mattresses cant be returned. The website CLEARLY conveys that all mattresses can be returned. Sneaeaeaeakkkkky. Wanna buy a mattress? I'm hauling it around in my van fully in plastic. Slept on it 5 nights. I'm sleeping on my camp mat til I can recoup the cost of this one. Jeff was rude in his email and tried to make it out like this was all my fault. Whatever. I thought you guys were old school customer service. That's why I went there. I wanna talk to Youval.

I'm writing this review with all hopes that I will be able to update with a positive resolution. Last February I purchased one of the higher end, king mattresses. The sales experience was pretty good. It didn't feel super pushy or anything. I got the mattress home and had 'body imprints' within a month or two and full blown sagging in maybe 6 months. Not it feels like I'm sleeping in a cbowl and it hurts my back and disrupts my sleep. I feel ripped off. For the nearly 3 grand I spent (including delivery and taxes), I shouldn't be contemplating moving to my $350 ikea mattress in the guest room. Update: TMM sent someone out to check out my mattress. It looks like my bed is missing the slats (it was delivered and set up incorrectly by a furniture store). They're going to fix my bed and replace the broken box springs. I'm very happy with the outcome.
My stuff was just delivered. I just moved back from out of state. Was referred to this company through friends and family. I was going to get a bed that came in a box but was over whelmed online with all of the ads and figured I needed to lay on it first. I arrived at the factory on the east side of Houston down the street from my favorite Mexican food spot Ninfas. The place is cool for real! I was greeted by Jeff the store manager who walked me through the differences of components and options for me being a side sleeper. We arrived at the Cannes ET and that felt the best. He then walked away and came back with some memory foam to add to the mattress to make it even more comfortable for me. I didn't think that was even possible. I met the owner as well and he showed me the furniture side. I was able to make a one stop shop and get a couch as well in their factory. The price was very fair in my opinion and I felt like I was dealing with a knowledgeable professional not a used car salesman. Cool place. Glad the movers wore a mask too.

Our physician recommended a 'zero gravity' bed to help with chronic back issues. Not having shopped for such an item before (we actually purchased our last mattress about ten years ago), the experience was an education in itself, given today's technology. Our preference was a 'split king,' basically two extra-long twins with separate mechanisms and remote controllers. Essentially, two manufacturers dominate this component of the market ... Tempur-Pedic and Sleep Number. The former sets its prices, so whether you shop at Gallery, Mattress Firm or any other retailer, you'll pay the same. The latter operates its own stores, so there's no competition there either. Not coincidentally, they sell for about the same amount ... somewhere between $6k and $7k (I've bought cars for less than that)! Enter Texas Mattress Makers. The factory showroom is nothing fancy, but all models are displayed, with prices clearly marked, unlike the big-box guys. We were helped by Diego, who answered all our questions about construction (virtually identical to the brand names), quality (10 yr. warranty), delivery and setup (included in price) and time frame (about 10 days, as everything is made to order). We opted for the better frame (does pretty much everything but turn on your coffeemaker and start your car), and bottom line, paid less than half of what the other retailers were charging. Even more of a saving was the fact that, unlike the competition, they do not charge for two XL twins, but rather just a king, be it single or split. All-in-all, we paid just under $2900 for a set that would have cost us about $7000 elsewhere. Doing business with a local company is always preferred ... and given that they've donated hundreds of products to various charitable endeavors makes it even better. What's more, if an employee needs a mattress, they'll give him/her a floor model at no charge and replace it with a new one in the showroom ... pretty cool. The bed was delivered as promised, and the guys set everything up, checking to make certain that all worked as designed. We got a quick lesson in operation of the remote, were reminded to register the frame with the manufacturer that warranties it ... total time about twenty minutes. We've had it for just over a month, and are thoroughly satisfied. This is your go-to place for your next mattress purchase.
As promise, I'm back to write an update about the mattress we bought about a month ago. We haven't had one single night when we woke up hot. So, it's safe to say our old mattress (8 years old) was the reason why we were getting so hot at night. The mattress we bought from Texas Mattress Makers is very comfortable and we haven't been hot sleeping on it. I would recommend one thing to everyone especially for the older generation. Request the low profile box springs that are only about 4' thick if you have a raised bed frame (we do). This will keep your bed from being so high. We're so glad we bought our mattress from Texas Mattress Makers.

I absolutely love them ! We have bought all of our beds from them! Jeff assisted me with my latest purchase! I ordered my new mattress a week ago and it was delivered exactly on time and with no issues. Due to covid, I was nervous to have anyone in my house but I could not have felt more comfortable. They wore masks and booties on their shoes! I had a window from 2-4 and when I say they showed up at 2:05 I am not kidding! The driver Al called me to confirm delivery and then again when he was 15 minutes away! Noah helped through the process of buying this bed as well and I can't thank them enough! I will never own a mattress from another place. Before I got my TMM King mattress I never actually knew what a good nights sleep felt like. Youval spent over an hour with me while I tested out mattresses and he evaluated how I sleep (yes - picking out the right mattress for yourself involves mini naps, I highly recommend this as a weekend activity, it's wonderful). I thought I liked super soft mattresses, turns out I really don't. Youval prescribed the best mattress for me to have the best sleep - I would honestly call him a sleep doctor. You must go see him. I've traveled all over the world, and the place I love most in the world 100% is my TMM bed. My boyfriend feels the same way! I honestly think he will propose to me in this bed because we both agree it's our favorite place in the whole wide world. Let me tell you, there is nothing comparable to taking a shower and slipping into your TMM bed all clean and ready for a great nights sleep or snuggling up to watch a movie. My cat loves this bed so much she sleep under the covers every night and will nap on it all day long. We pretty much live our whole life in this bed. We never want to leave it. We look forward to getting home and getting in to bed. We recommend TMM to all of our friends and they all regret it if they didn't take our advice. Don't make the wrong decision and go somewhere else - go Texas Mattress Makers all the way!
The only advantage to making a mattress purchase here is, the place is a local business and don't have a long delay with getting the mattress. Frankly, I don't believe mattress sleep any better- despite the convincing commercials. I will never make another mattress purchase here again! TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED!!!!
