Love this topper. It arrived and wss shrink wrapped in a box that made it look like not the right product. Upon opening it, it "grew" to size almost right away. It did have a smell but after some fabric freshener and airing out, it was fine. Sleeping on it is a dream. My Queen size mattress on my captain's bed has seen better days but I'm not ready to buy a new one. Size fits my mattress, the fitted sheets are a bit tight due to the added height but stay on. The topper is all one piece with different swirl and lines and raised sections. Very comfortable.
My mattress is 9 yo and my down feather mattress topper was getting flat. I would love to get another year or 2 from this mattress. After losing 50 lbs I wasn’t sleeping as well (less cushion?) and this mattress topper does the trick and is a really reasonable price. I recommend!
First, the pad fulfilled it's purpose: it made a very firm mattress, impossible to sleep on without getting numb joints, comfortable. Second, I didn't have to air it out for months before I could tolerate the smell. It took just a few hours for it to be ready to be put on the bed. The vertical ridges might feel strange under the body, but they help with pressure points. This was a very good affordable solution for a terrible problem of poor sleep.
5" too narrow. 3" too short. definitely is not a california king. As to 3" thick, maybe at the highest peak. 1" tall across the bottom of the topper. returning.

I'm giving only 3 stars because this is the 3rd time i will have to order it. I decided to renew my mattress toppers and i ordered three of them, one was damaged had a cut in the middle. I returned it to the store and ordered it, the second one had a hole in and was not 3". Now i have to order it again and don't know how the third one will come. The other two are fine, comfortable but does a little noise when you move on.
Very comfy for the price. Bought 2 One for my son and for me. My son says he doesn't want to get out of bed. It's that comfy. For me I like it too. Helps relieve pain in back.

Comfort is wonderful: firm through the mat, attractive color, slightly smaller than our Ca King, in length and width, but not a big problem. Strong smell when delivered, but we aired it for 4 days, then installed it. Still (after 9 days) has a slight smell, but not too offensive. Hope it isn’t injurious in the long term.
I'ts actually nice, It isn,t as dense as the other toppers. It does't get hard in cold weather and has more rebound unlike other memory foam toppers have. You can jump on it at night without feeling like a rock.
We really love this topper. It is super comfy and has made our bed hard to get out of in the morning because it's so comfy.
We loved these so much we are going to order two more. People who gave a poor review neglected to read the instructions. When they arrive and are first unrolled after being squished into a small box, they are all out of shape. You need to let them lie flat for 24 hours and then the size is perfect. Some complained about the smell but I didn't smell anything. Instructions also say that the new foam smell will go away after 48 hours. I purchased these for twin beds mostly used by children so the original mattresses were inexpensive. When we realized we would need to use those beds for adults we ordered the foam. They turned cheap mattresses into very comfortable ones.
Pretty nice for the price. It was ripped in a few spots, but I don't think that really affects the comfort. My biggest problem was that it is not cut straight at all!! At the bottom, there is a angle of almost 2 inches. You can't really notice it once the sheets are on top of it, but how do you mess cutting it up that much?

Great mattress topper for the money! Fit my queen bed perfectly and was able to use my regular fitted sheet. My hip pain has decreased about 50% after just using the mattress for a couple of nights. I did not have any problem with odor.
I have no rate for this item. It is worthless in my opinion. I will be returning it ASAP. Also there was no shipping order inside.

Terribly disappointed in this product! Right out of the package it did not fit a full size bed side to side - very poorly cut. After letting it rest for two days the only way we could get it to lay flat was to put a tight fitted sheet on it. The first night with it was terrible - it sleeps very hot. Bought it to hopefully help with back and hip pain, and woke up in so much pain I spent the following day in a recliner on pain medication. Another family member tried it the second night with the same result - woke up in so much pain he had to see a chiropractor the next day. I tried the textured side, the other person tried the flat side. No difference. Worst product ever.
Great quality so far. The colors aren’t as pretty as the pic but who cares about that. It comes all squished and wrapped in plastic with directions to let it expand for 48 hours to regain its shape. I was skeptical but it really expanded great and was perfectly formed with every peak and bump the right size.
The item works well, but it is NOT 3" thick. The description should state that it is 1 1/2" thick and on its thickest points it is 2 1/2" thick. It is also a bit shorter and a bit less wide than the description states (about 1 1/2" - 2" less), but I can live with that. The thickness description bothered me more. In spite of this, it makes the futon mattress and our regular mattress much more comfortable, so I would still recommend it.

I had a memory foam before this. I was worried when I took it out of the box because it was so light weight. But, I was amazed how great it feels to sleep on!
This made my old lumpy mattress feel like a new one. I love this product and would recommend it to anyone. I am sleeping so much better now!

I purchased this mattress topper for my daughter's first year in college. I am returning this item ASAP because there was a hole in the middle of the pad and also pieces that appeared to be torn on other parts of the foam cushion. The foam topper appears to be somewhat comfortable. I placed another order. Hopefully, the next mattress topper is not torn or defected and arrives before she goes to college.

Horrible! We gave it time to puff up, per the instructions, but one side wasn't cut straight and it had a big circular cut out of the side - as if I milk jug had been placed on the edge and someone cut out the foam in that shape. The mattress topper was ordered as a Twin XL but the size wasn't marked on the package that arrived. It was several inches too short and too narrow, and was closer to 2" in depth rather than 3". Will be returning.
If this was truly 3” thick that would be great. But not in this lifetime.
This topper does NOT fit a king-size mattress. It arrives curled up, but despite opening the packaging and following the directions included which state that it will flatten to its appropriate size.....it still only measures 57 inches width-wise. A disappointment....and worst of all to return it I need the original packaging which was just plastic wrapping that I cut to open it.
Bought this for my son's twin bed and it works like a dream! It's super comfortable, adds stability and was priced great. Would recommend and buy again!

I have purchased two of these at separate times (both queen size). We had one in our spare room because the mattress was so bad, and ordered one for the master later. They are awesome! There is a smell when you take it out but that's normal with manufactured goods that are stored in tight plastic. We laid it out for one day and didn't have issues with smells or it laying flat. Also, we really like how thick they are. I saw a few reviews complaining about how thin they were and it makes me wonder if they received the wrong item...? I have no washed so no idea on that. We typically treat with Febreze or baking soda while washing sheets.

It is very thin in the "divots" which I guess is supposed to help make it more comfortable, but I wanted it to add warmth to an air matress, and it does not.
These cheap foam toppers are now half the thickness they once were. They give no support. The material creates static easily. Bunches under a standard mattress pad. Only good news is that they can be recycled as home insulation or moving pads if needed.
My apartment has a very old, saggy mattress with no support. I'm a grad student and didn't want to invest in something super expensive or replace the mattress entirely. I needed a cheap, quick fix since I plan to move out later this year anyway. Even though the reviews on this item put me off a bit, I took a risk because of how cheap it was. I'm pretty pleased! I let it rise for a couple hours (didn't want to wait the recommended day or whatever it was). Even after a couple hours it still made it to 1.5 inches. It's very comfy, fluffed up nicely, and the ridges feel great (though I don't really know if I buy into the different "zones" of support thing). I didn't have any of the smell issues or flatness that other reviewers mentioned. My bed is way more comfortable now!
I received 2 separate deliveries of this item and I don't recommend it. Both of them had a lot of crater-like small holes in the foam on both sides that shouldn't be there and both had some black specks of I don't know what, that came off of the inside of them when I opened them. Target was great, but this product was disappointing.

Bought a queen size topper. I let it relax for a WEEK!!! it is 4 inch short on the width. Also the one side is barely 1/2" thick.
I bought this to replace my furbabies bed foam insert. It's not as thick as I thought it would be but when folded in half, it's good enough.
Needed this topper for a hospital bed which is a bit longer than a twin. It fully covered the mattress and a good fitted sheet flattened out the packing rolls.
I bought two for my two beds and ended up using both on one bed. They are thinner than they appear in the product photo. The texture is not as deep as shown. The two of them together worked well. A single layer, not so much.
Comfy is the perfect name for this foam mattress topper. It's so comfortable to sleep on and really soothes my aching back when I wake up in the morning!
I purchased this item as a topper for inflatable mattresses. We have some guests coming, and I tested one of our new inflatables overnight. They are on a hard wood floor, and I guess the mattresses are made of vinyl or pvc, and provide no insulation. Quite the opposite, they seem to suck the warmth out of you during the night. These toppers were perfect for my intended use. I put them on the inflatable mattresses, and when I tried the next night, I did not have the cold feeling during the night. The added benefit of a little extra comfort only makes them more useful. They are thin, and smell a little weird on first use, but that goes away (I put them under a fitted sheet anyway). For 25 bucks, don't expect these to turn your mattress into a tempurpedic. But for my purposes, as insulation on a cold inflatable mattress, they were perfect.
Comfy? A joke. Thin as a piece of paper. No cushion at all. Not sure what the point of it is supposed to be. Part of the foam was discolored, as if it had been sitting around in storage for a long time. Returned it.
This comforter is cheap and it really shows. After opening, I found that it stayed warped as though it had just been removed from the packaging, even after a couple weeks of use. The "5 different zones" are hardly noticeable and do nothing in the way of support, I really don't know why they add this as a selling point as it could have just been a flat piece of foam with no grooves. Aside from that, it works perfectly fine as a foam slab for extra comfort, which was essentially what I was looking for when I bought this. It's cheap, it's somewhat effective but literally pay no attention to anything the package says, if you're looking for a medium-thin thickness bit of memory foam, this works just fine - it's not the epitome of comfort, but it does the job. tl;dr - Piece of foam, no grooves like advertised, Average to slightly below average comfort, maybe worth $10-15

I bought one of these 2 months ago & found my bed nearly perfect. A few weeks ago I wondered if I could achieve perfection if I ordered a 2nd one. So I did order another & now I do indeed have the perfect level of comfort for me. I love these. Expensive isn’t always better.
There was no design on the foam because it was less than half an inch thick in most places. Completely flattened. Ordered a queen but it might have fit a full bed.
I have a medical condition that causes pain and makes me sensitive to pressure all over. I have a too-hard mattress. I have bought and tried virtually every topper I can find, all the widths, materials (including latex--$$$), price points, etc., at many stores and have had to return or discard them all. This topper is "tops" for me. I don't do well with memory foam (e.g., I feel like I'm trying to turn on quicksand). This little topper is regular foam and generously sized (many aren't). It is not thick but it is designed well to distribute a person's weight (I'm 150#). What I do is put it over the mattress; then a second, quilted topper on top (from warehouse that starts with a "C"); then my sheet; and that combination makes me pretty comfortable. I have to shake the quilted one out every morning. My one caution: this foam topper does wear out in time. Mine lasted 10 months, slept on every night, then I had to replace it. I will keep doing so ir and until I can find a better answer for myself. But I will keep buying this one to take on trips. It is affordable. Thanks, Target! Please don't discontinue it. Memory foam is NOT for everyone.
I wish I had looked at the Review Images before I purchased. Like the first picture, my pad does not flatten out, and there are no straps to pull it tight. I also noticed one edge was a bit wavy, as if it was cut by hand by a drunk person. There are now a couple of bubbles under my fitted sheet. I will try using those clip-on sheet straps I've seen in stores to see if that helps. But even if that works, this is no better than a plain foam pad. The "ridges" are barely there, and if you press your hand on any part of the design, you can barely feel the difference between the high and low areas. This pad is NOT like a quality egg crate pad. Even though I bought it on sale, it was way overpriced.
I bought this for my toddler in her convertible crib because her mattress that she used as an infant is too firm now. I ended up cutting it to size and it's working out well. I agree with the other reviews-it is less than an inch thick. The groves never expanded as the picture provides, even after leaving it out overnight.
I just opened this up to put it on a twin guest bed and it is very underwhelming. It doesn't even cover the whole mattress width! Its for a guest bed so it will probably be okay since it won't see daily use, but still.

This "egg crate" foam topper is amazing- after receipt I aired it out as suggested for 2 days and much to my surprise it made my firm mattress so comfortable I could sleep all day. It's awkward to put on at 1st b/c it has been rolled well in package but once on it is a dream and for the price you can't beat this. Used w/out mattress pad and with pad and both equally comfortable. Good buy!

Bought this to add some cushiness to a foam mattress..it is a good comfy product, but the foam degrades quickly and will stain your mattress with a yellow haze in less than 6 months.

I bought 2 of these to see nook cushions. The first one I received was as advertised. But the second one was barely half an inch thick. Very flat and you could barely see those bumps. Very disappointed.

I've had this for just over a month now. I'm super happy with it. My mattress, although a pillow top, was way too firm and left me sore. I bought this 4" topper hoping to alleviate this. I love super soft, but my bf needs more support rather than soft. This was the perfect in between. It is more supportive, with some softness. But if you're looking for super soft, don't get this. I love the cover with the zip in pocket to keep it from shifting. This is a great product, looks it be very nice quality... I definitely recommend. It was worth the price to get a good night's sleep.
Although this has made my older mattress feel better, it sleeps very warm. My husband and I both wake up sweating! Plan on returning only because of this, which of course is a big problem.
The mattress topper is comfortable. Zipping the memory foam into the cover was easy; and it adds 4" of height to the bed.
Very happy with this item its like sleeping on a cloud i like how its two pieces. I chose to use both adds that extra plush. It did make my bed a lil taller with that extra topper piece but its ok i dont have trouble getting on or out of bed. Very good quality the foam part has a good weight pretty sturdy it wont rip easily or get damaged. I have been able to sleep much better i usually toss an turn all night an with this i have stoped. Love it.
I'm pretty sold on the foam portion of this item; not so much on the batting/pad with zipper liner. Foam portion of item fits perfectly, the batting/pad is more like a Queen, nowhere NEAR a Cal-King. This item needs some revamping on the part of the vendor/manufacturer. Overall, I am glad I purchased it though.
This was very easy to put together. If it's is cold when it arrives at your house, let it warm up before trying to unfold the memory foam part. Just to avoid damaging it. I am very pleased with the quality. I still feel the support but wow is it comfortable. I look forward to bedtime now!

We got this for my son’s twin bed, the mattress wasn’t the best. Instead of having to buy a new mattress, this is doing the trick! It’s extremely comfortable and the foam helps had extra inches. My son is much happier!
The topper is very comfortable and I like that the top can be unzipped from the bottom for washing. My only concern is that the zipper doesn't seem very sturdy. I'm afraid at some point it won't zip anymore.

This topper is the best of both worlds, as it has both foam and a featherbed on top. The large fitted sheet makes it stay in place. I bought one in every size for the lake house, that had very hard and uncomfortable mattresses, and everyone was delighted with the (affordable) upgrade!

I am so in love with this mattress topper! We have a new bed that is not very comfortable. I was ready to buy a new mattress. We had tried memory foam and other topper and nothing seemed to work. This combination is perfect. I have slept through the night for two weeks without tossing and turning. I look forward to going to bed. Highly recommend. In an effort to make a firm twin guest bed more comfortable, I bought this mattress topper and tried it out myself last night. Wow! It was like sleeping on a cloud. It arrives in two pieces and requires delicate handling in order to avoid distorting the foam but once the padded cover is added it is more wieldly. Instructions for putting the two pieces together are printed directly on the clear plastic cover of the padded topper rather than on a separate sheet of paper; be sure to read those first.
Great product-so comfy and cozy and easy to put on bed with two people as foam is heavy, love the way it works with the zip topper to keep it cleaner and in place. Our dogs even love the comfort. It is much better than purchasing a new mattress, no matter how hard you mattress is or lumpy as this topper curves to fit the mattress and you. Love it.
This is honestly the most comfortable thing I have ever slept on. It is extremely soft yet still supportive. It is like sleeping on a cloud like other reviews have said. I bought it because a cheap memory foam mattress I bought was sadly way too firm and I wanted to make it more comfortable. I was waking up with body aches and head/neck pain frequently. I was super nervous buying this due to the price especially since we have a king...I have bought cheap mattresses in the past (any mattress can be made nice with the right topper)- and I’ve bought 4” pure memory foam toppers...this dual topper blows those memory foam toppers out of the water. I read that the fit was poor for these but it fit our bed perfectly. The first night I woke up with NO aches or pains. I would give a 10 star if I could. Worth every penny.

I wound up with my daughter's cheap twin mattress in my (home) office. I figured she's small, she didn't need a fancy mattress. Two years later, and she now has a bigger bed. I tried sleeping on it, but being bigger and heavier, it was uncomfortable. I purchased the 4" DUAL mattress topper (that means 2" foam / 2" quilted microfiber). This version has a cover that attaches to your mattress. Then you put the foam inside of the cover and zip it up. I didn't know it was this version, but it was easy to put together and seems to work fine. The main thing I want to point out is the difference in sleep and comfort. Laying on my stomach doesn't make my boobs uncomfortable! That's new. I can lay on my side without hips hurting. I actually sleep through the night. I'm getting 8 hours of sleep! Amazing. I like the bed in my office more than the king in my bedroom! Now I'm shopping for a king size topper, because my husband is getting annoyed! If he wasn't so big and tall, I know he'd be on this twin topper and I'd be trying to kick him out. Just sayin'. I cannot review the longevity of this product. I can only say that it's been about a week. And every morning I struggle getting out of bed. Not because I'm uncomfortable or unrested. Simply because it's too comfortable. (=
I have slept on this mattress topper for about 2 weeks now and I must say it is a godsend! Originally I was iffy about buying it because of how much it cost (I bought the queen size), but I'm glad I did. I also got it on sale. I moved to a different state temporarily due to work so I didn't bring my actual bed with me which happens to be a pillowtop mattress. I have been sleeping on a firm mattress provided by my landlady that when I wake up in the morning my body ached horribly like I have been trampled over by running bulls or something. The first night sleeping on the mattress topper took some getting use to because I think it was still opening up and getting situated, but by the second night I slept soundly. I finally woke up feeling refreshed!! It came in a big box and you kind of have to peel it apart so it can start unraveling. It had a fairly light scent, smelled like something that just came off the production line but it's gone now. Definitely worth the purchase.
Comfortable and seems well made
I sleep on a futon and bought an American-made Otis moonshadow mattress which had high ratings and good reviews. Brand new. Nevertheless, I was waking up every 20 minutes to turn over. It was not comfortable after the first two hours for more than 15 minutes. As an attempt to remedy that, I bought this pillow top. It made a world of difference. I sleep more deeply, and I look forward to it, and in the morning, I want to lay there and enjoy it even after a full night's sleep. Completely resolved the turning issue. Worth the price to me. There are two items in the box. 1] The foam insert 2. The padding/skirt The padding is attached to a fitted skirt, it is all one piece. How I installed: 1. keep a normal fitted sheet on the mattress. 2. Attach the padding/skirt firmly over the normal fitted sheet. 3. close the padding/skirt zipper all the way around except for one side. 4. Crawl inside the open side with the still-compressed foam insert, a flashlight, and something to open the foam insert. 5. start to open the foam insert INSIDE the padding/fitted skirt. The idea is, it will expand inside the padding/fitted skirt and you will not have to expand it first and then force it in. 6. as it starts to expand, determine how it is aligned and before it fully expands, turn it so it is aligned properly with the bed, in terms of length and width. 7. Now help it expand fully and make small adjustments as needed. 8. Once in proper place, zip up the one open side of the padding/skirt.
I LOVE IT!! Im just praying it lasts me at least 3 years.. no smell and perfect soft even if u weight 280 lbs like my boyfriend he notices the difference he loves it too
This topper combination transformed our firm mattress into one that is comfortable, supportive and inviting. We now fall asleep quickly, sleep soundly throughout the night and wake rested. I highly recommend.
We bought this to put on top of a too hard twin mattress. It is very comfortable, and solved the problem inexpensively. We paid a little more for expedited shipping, and it arrived on time, as promised.

This is a great mattress topper. It was kind of tricky to get the memory foam into the zipper opening under the pillow top part, but once I put it together it was great. The topper fits my cal-king bed well, is soft and cushiony and hugs my body very well. The price was good. I've been sleeping on this topper for a week and it's great!
