Outstanding mattress at an unbeatable price. Mattress Firm wanted $1k for the same exact mattress!

This mattress felt great at first but after only 1 year started to ...

This mattress felt great at first but after only 1 year started to sag on both sides, leaving a "hill" in the middle.
Now we are having back problems and so are replacing it after only a little more than a year. This is a horrible investment,
don't make this mistake.

Way too soft!!

Mattress is ok for few years but when it does ...

Mattress is ok for few years but when it does go back, forget about the 10yrs warranty. Simmons will no honor it.. they will try to charge you as much or more for "upgrading the mattress" with no warranty on the replacement! I have filed complaints with BBB but they don't care.
Please file complaints if you have had any warranty issues so they are force to take of the customers!

Wished it was thicker

Steer clear of this mattress!

We just received this mattress today, and it is TERRIBLE! I am writing this review at 1:30am because I can't sleep on it. I have given up and am now lying on a foam topper placed on the bedroom floor, and I am much more comfortable here on the floor than I was in the bed.
The fabric on the mattress is stiff and of very low quality. This shouldn't be a problem because it's covered with a mattress pad and sheets anyway, but it still doesn't "give" for that plush feel. You sink into the mattress, which could be good, except you are met with hard springs and awful pressure points. My husband, a back sleeper, is already having terrible back pains after just a few hours. I'm a side-sleeper, and my shoulder and hip are killing me. I know they say a mattress needs time to settle, but I can't tolerate this bed for a few hours, much less a whole night. I will be returning this mattress.

On my 3rd replacement!

The cheapest made mattress we have ever purchased. I have now had 2 of these mattresses, the first was ripped and sagged in the middle right out of the package. They (nationwide retailer) replaced it with another and it is as bad, if not worse. It squeaks so bad and is so cheap. I paid over $1,300 for a king set and it is completely useless to us. It makes so much noise and racket every time you move. I will never buy anything with the Beautyrest name.

Hills and valleys

Had this restored spirits five years.the last three years were hell. My husband wouldn’ Sleep on it. Contacted Simmons for inspection and replacement. No go. I have spent weeks reading reviews. I am sleeping on this any longer. Moved to guest room until I find new mattress. I will never buy another beauty rest.

A little too firm for me

Thought I ordered the plush mattress, but received the firm. Trying to adjust to this mattress. Good price and good quality.

Comfortable mattress that does not sag.

I could not be happier with the pillow top mattress that I recently purchased. The pillow top seems to help me sleep better and is better for me to sleep on since I have arthritis. The mattress fabric is of excellent quality.

Love, Love, Love this mattress.

I tried many mattresses in 4 different stores one Saturday and most were fine but as soon as I lay on this Simmons Beautyrest, something felt different. I walked around and tried a few more then came back to the Beautyrest. I knew it was the one - perfect pillow top yet firm as I like it. No more sleepless, tossing and turning nights!

Not for a person with a bad back

Purchased the Silver but only kept it 3 weeks. Was good the first week but by the second week started to break down. By the third week it was squishy and made my back worse. If you have a bad back don't buy a pillow top. They tell me now that I am returning the mattress. Penney's does not refund your money so am having to buy a different mattress. Originally told I had up to 100 days but that is no longer true, it is now 48 hours. Who can tell if a mattress is right for you in 48 hours. Wish I had not purchased my mattress from Penney's. Buyer beware.

Not what I expected

VERY DISAPPOINTED. NOT WHAT I EXPECTED. THIS QUEEN SIZE MATTRESS COULD NOT POSSIBLY BE WORTH APPROXIMATELY 1800.00(I DID NOT PAY THIS PRICE) BUT IT'S NOT WORTH THAT PRICE! JUST NOT SATISFIED. Excellent product, I just love the firmness!

I think this is an excellent mattress. The only thing was the delay in getting the mattress whic paritally was my fault since I ordered the wrong one at first. Oerall I am very pleased with it!

NOT AS FIRM AS I WOULD LIKE

It seems to be very well made; movement dampening is good. If you want something firm, this probably isn't what you want. I am a stomach sleeper and the plush doesn't really support the arch of your back.

This bed is very comfortable. It's like sleeping on a cloud. Great buy.

I was looking for a firm mattress, and found it in this Simmons Beautyrest Silver Snowhaven Luxury Firm Mattress! It's A Five Star Rated Bed, That I Guarantee Will Give You A Five Star Night's Sleep!!

Not as hoped for

Problems with delivery, didn't get it until over a month after ordering even though we're home 4 days out of the week. After only a couple of months with the new mattress, it already has 2 slightly sunken spots where we lay, and we are not overweight people. I've heard that Simmons makes a better mattress if you are willing to pay a lot more, but this apparently isn't one of those.

Best sale price available at the time.

previous mattress was a Beautyrest plush king. Wanted a little more firmness but full firm was too much. The luxury firm was just right. Took a week or so to get used to the extra firmness but now we love it. Also, this mattress is nice and thick so it works well on a platform style frame without the need for box springs.

Wonderful Mattress!!!

For the first time in months I slept like a baby the very first night I got this mattress. Firm yet extremely comfortable. I just love it. I tried a Saatva brand luxury firm mattress and it was terrible. I had to come back to Beautyrest and I'm glad I did.

Very comfortable bed

This is my first bed purchase without actually trying the specific bed first, I tried a few out at the local store and then saw this described online. I was nervous but the product is actually good. Only complaint is it took over two weeks for delivery

This mattress is great buy. I originally planned to get a tempur pedic. I then switched to a Stearns and Foster. In the end this was the best mattress at a great a price. It was more in my budget.

Nicely made mattress..perfect for a good nights sleep!

We finally chose this new mattress after much research. We were scared of so many choices available, but not a lot of positive reviews on most of them. With backaches every morning for my husband for awhile now, & now mine starting to hurt, we knew it was time to take the leap & buy a new one. I was shopping at Penney's for towels while my husband waited in car, when I seen the mattress sale. So I went & got him & made him lay on a few. He chose this one & the very first night he slept like a baby, & has ever since. We both wake up with no soreness already. It is a tall mattress & we bought a new box spring as well, so we have to slide down out of bed. But we love the height of it right now. And maybe as we get older we'll have to get a step on each side, or go with the standard bed frame. We have a lovely vintage oak bed with side rails, so both pieces had to sit on that. So it is tall now! So if you need lower, suggest buying just the mattress & sitting it on the plywood (as suggested for warranty)..I would still like both pieces even if I had the lower frame. So we love it & would recommend it. Pretty too! Love the navy blue sides.

Great Decision

It is so difficult to choose a mattress that you have confidence in, but this mattress is great! It is firm but well cushioned. It is also beautiful. The excellent delivery and set-up service is also appreciated. Virginia Jones

Price was great, had to wait on delivery, but received when quoted by very nice employees an they removed old one. Mattress is firm but must be covered by mattress cover for warranty i believe.

Don't pass this mattress up

This is an amazing mattress. I own two (in Queen) and am about to order my third for the guest room. My first purchase of this mattress was over two years ago and it still sleeps like brand new. The quality, price and durability are all excellent. I highly recommend this to my friends and anyone looking for a new memory foam mattress. It is medium in firmness and substantial enough for heavier body types (which we have in our family) while remaining very comfortable. hands down, an excellent purchase.

Love this mattress!

Going on three month and I can tell you I this mattress! I sleep more through the night, and my back and shoulder pain is gone. With all the reviews I had to get me a kink size mattress. Well worth it!!!

Fantastic Mattress!!!

It is the most comfortable mattress that I have slept on in 30 years. I weigh close to 300 lbs and I thought I would bottom out on the frame but I don't even come close to the bottom. I feel like I am suspended in air. With microfiber sheets, I am neither hot nor cold.

Fantastic buy

This bed is worth every penny. I was skeptical at first but I do not regret it. There is no need to limit yourself on a type of fabric for your sheets. I use all types and the bed still conforms to your body perfectly. The bed is light so sometimes it does shift depending on what side in getting off of. But it's easily pushed back. Would definitely buy more for other rooms!

Soft and comfy

We purchased this mattress to put on top of a box spring. We let it expand for 24 hours. It is very soft and comfortable! The one thing that bothered me at first, was this new mattress is shorter than my former spring mattress with a foam topper on it. (I like my bed to be higher). After a few weeks on it now though, I don't really notice the height difference anymore. (I could purchase risers or a new platform but have decided not to). We have now been sleeping on this about a month. It is still very comfortable and just as soft. We have hip and back pains, and this mattress has been wonderful! It has taken the pain away from those pressure points. We are both side sleepers and it sinks down enough to accomodate for your arm and shoulders sinking in just the right amount. We bought jersey sheets from walmart too, and they stretch and fit perfect on this mattress! (Plus they are soft!!!) Very happy with our purchase!

Great bed overall

Great firm bed it’s not hard to me but it is firm and it rose to 12 inches .There is a little odor when you first unpack it but that went away after like 4 days for me . I let my mattress air out for like a week because the smell was bothering me after 2 days, so I gave it a week.

So much better than our previous mattress

We purchased this (king size) mattress to replace our 6 year old (queen size) memory foam mattress. We actually 'liked' our old bed, just needed a larger one. I never dreamed that this bed would be so, so, so much better. It is extremely plush and above all...COOL!! We are now in love with our bed!! Time will tell how well it holds up, but we will enjoy every single night until it is replaced (and I would definitely buy another!)

Feels good but takes a while to air out

I bought this for my 10 year old and she loves it. Sleeps much better and is easier to wake up for school. I used this full sized mattress was used in a bunk bed with no issues. The only negative is the smell is very strong for the first few days. Its a chemical foam rubber smell. After 1week it still has a smell but it is much reduced. I think it will be a good bed. I lay in it from time to time and it feels nice.

Love! Definitely recommend. I shopped around for mattress toplers first and bought two online. Both were huge dissapointments. We finally decided to try this after reading reviews. It's a greast mattress!! The biggest issue i saw in Reviews was the smell. It does habe smell to it but, let it sit for 48hrs to air out and achieve maximum thickness. You will be happy!

Worst mattress ever!! Save your $$!!

After following the instructions and allowing the mattress to expand for over 48 hours, the mattress was uneven and lumpy and never made it to the full 12 inches. Some areas were 4 inches high while others were 6 inches high. Looked nothing like the picture online. Back it goes!!

They cover it with an unwoven material which conceals the separation of the two foams at first but over time after washing the removable cover you can clearly see the separation. TWO: The removable cover is already starting to show some wear and drooping at each end of the bed which I just tuck under with the sheets but its still an eye soar. So after my findings I guess I'm disappointed. I could have got a memory foam topper and a foam block used a mattress cover and saved a couple hundred bucks. Just so you know what your getting. Hope my review helps. SRY no photos of the cover. Its in the wash as we speak.

Not for long term use

We bought this mattress 2 years ago. From 2 months ago both me and my wife started to feel back pain everyday in the morning when we wake up. For few weeks, we were puzzled about how both of us were having same lower back pain in the morning, we were blaming it on the holiday shopping and other trips we made during the holiday season. However, by the end of the holiday season we realized that the cause was something else. Finally, we figured out that it was our mattress which gave us 2 months of irritating lower back pain. So what happened was, over the time, the memory foam became soft and midsection of our bodies started to sink more than the rest. We now stopped using this mattress from last week and don't have back pain in the mornings anymore!

I love this mattress

I love this mattress. I had one in my college apartment, and bought another after I moved out. This is by far, the most comfortable mattress, and the price is great ! I had no issues with this from the box to my bed.

Ordering and shipping

Ordering and shipping was a breeze! Unpacking easy. Its a good mattress. But it hasn't expanded to 8” yet. Its been 5 days... it will work for the grandkids.

It's terrible

It's terrible. Had it less than a month and never slept worse. Sore all over. Thankfully, Wal-Mart is good at handling returns.

So glad I purchased

So glad I purchased this mattress for my day bed! My company have all raved about the good nights rest they had on it.

Seems comfortable

Seems comfortable but never raised up to the promised height - at best got to 7" on some corners. Also, was a tight fit for full bed that had surrounding borders.

Great So far

Great So far and it's matched his description. It arrived on time. It was at a good price when I bought it. I believe it was on a roll back price. So I got it for 166.38. It is a gift for my uncle for his RV. I have a full size spa sensation that is slightly different from this one and I love it. I've had mine since 2016 and I use for when I go camping haha. Anyways, the fabric that came with this new mattress seems thinner then my other one. The mattress itself seems softer and not as firm as my old one. Which it is still very comfortable and as we speak I am laying on it after the recommended time. Overall very happy about this purchase.

I bought the mattresses

I bought the mattresses for my girls. They were very quick and easy to set up. My girls are very happy with them and sleeping better than with the regular mattress they had before. I only give 4 stars because they have only had the new one for a week.

I weigh ~140 and I don't sink in at all (with a platform frame) I got the 8inch, it expanded well, delivery was great, and I love that there is a protective cover on the mattress that can be washed

Really weary

Really weary about buying online, but now that I have it I'm glad I did. I like it, but wish it wasn't so firm, needs some give to it, or at least offer different firmnesses...

So soft and comfortable

I have to say, these a re pretty fantastic for the price. My kiddos love hem on their new beds. Not sure how long they will last.

So I was hesitant

So I was hesitant on buying a mattress online (who isn't) but the reviews were pretty solid. The mattress (full size) came rolled up, and I let it expand in the living room. Nice, comfy mattress! Firm, and my 10 year old loves it. There is a "smell" but it wasn't chemical, I read the pamphlet that came with it and apparently they spray it with green tea scent but its not horrible. Would recommend!

It sleeps wonderfully

It sleeps wonderfully. It is very comfortably and conforms to my body. I am in a travel trailer and there was only a slight smell for a couple of hours.

Bought this as a bed for my dogs

Bought this as a bed for my dogs. Works great. Super comfortable, doesn't squish down, expanded evenly right out of the box. The cover had a tricky zipper with a lock, but once I figured that out, no other issues. Great price.

I really like my new mattress

I really like my new mattress.Nothing like a goodnight 's rest.

I allowed over 24 hours

I allowed over 24 hours for the mattress to expand. It reached its maximum height. However, the mattress is a lot harder than I expected. When I sleep on it, in the morning my back is sore and does a lot of cracking. I have a hard time sleeping at night because if it. I'll probably have to get a pad or something to put over the mattress to hopefully help it out.
