Naturepedic's Owner Satisfaction

Input from customers is a powerful way to focus your list of potential mattresses to buy. Sleepers rate these mattresses well, but there were a few who didn't feel as happy. Found below are customer reviews and more specific information on the feel -- research on to make sure one of these works for you!

Naturepedic's Supportiveness

Mattress support is extremely important to a good night sleep. Overall, these mattresses are above average in terms of supporting sleepers. It is important for those that aren't getting the proper supportive night sleep they deserve right now. Most folks report that these mattresses are supportive initially.

Edge Support
Edge support is how much supportiveness there is along the edges of the mattress versus the middle section. These mattresses offer good edge support overall, but there are some folks that may experience more contouring along the edge.

Bowling Ball & Density Tests
By performing a bowling ball test, one can quickly figure out mattress firmness. It is also a great test to see if there is evenness in support or if there are peaks and valleys. Overall, these mattresses should work with your body and offer an even support feel.

Naturepedic's Durability

It is extremely important for shoppers to find a durable mattress, but some brands don't put the same kind of attention on building quality that lasts. That being said, these mattresses get good marks from reviewers on durability. Most customers are happy with their mattress after 5 years, but some heavier folks may find that it breaks down faster for them.

Purple's Owner Satisfaction

Customers give these mattresses higher than average customer satisfaction ratings. This means most sleepers leave positive feedback, but there are some rare low reviews. There are some customers that disagreed with the comfort. Make sure to read on to learn if these mattresses will work for you!

Purple's Supportiveness

Mattresses that provide support are oftentimes called firm, but when we mention support, we mean support that cradles your spine, hips, and shoulders. Most reviewers would describe these mattresses as providing good support, but rarely, some customers don't always like the feel.

Edge Support
Most find these mattresses to have good quality edge support, which will fit the needs of most sleepers who require sitting on the edge of their mattress or roll over towards the edge at night.

Bowling Ball & Density Tests
Some reviewers use the bowling ball test to measure if mattresses are good at providing support to the spine. These mattresses provide a good amount of support for the average sleeper, but some with wide hips and shoulders may experience some discomfort.

Purple's Durability

It's a hard prospect finding products that last decades. Brands, for the most part, rather make repeatable revenue than make something that lasts a lifetime. However, there are still pack leaders out there. These mattress, as an example, get good marks from customers on quality. Most will find them last 7 - 12 years, though some who are heavier or use their mattress more often than nightly may experience them faltering sooner.

LOVE this mattress
We love this mattress. I was very worried about buying a mattress for my 2 year old because in the past when I've bought traditional mattresses, the off-gassing took months (that was before I knew better about the horrible chemicals in mattresses). My son had a Naturepedic crib mattress and the transition to the Naturepedic twin mattress was a good choice. When the mattress was delivered we set it up in his room and he was able to use it that very night. No off-gassing horrible chemicals, no bad smells. What a relief! I'm very sensitive to chemical smells so I was happy to not have to deal with that here. We started off on the firm side of the mattress for my 2 year old, but it was very hard. He's been sleeping on the firm side for 1 month, but he keeps waking up at night. We also found that he was trying to put his entire body on his pillow, so we thought he would prefer a softer feel. A few days ago we flipped it over to the quilted side and that feels much better. We still need to get a waterproof pad for it, since the quilted side is not waterproof and he's not yet potty-trained. I would not hesitate to purchase this mattress again. It was very expensive, but if he uses it for 10 years, that's only $75/year. Well worth the peace of mind.

You won't regret this purchase.
I was nervous when I purchased this mattress because many reviews say it is too firm. Is it firm? Yes. Uncomfortable? No. My son went from a conventional plastic-y crib mattress to this mattress. This one is considerably softer and more comfortable. I lay with him at night as he falls asleep, and I am not uncomfortable on the mattress. I have had no complaints. In fact, we are thinking of buying one for each of our other children. This is a great mattress and is one of the most affordable non-toxic mattresses available. It is firm but not uncomfortable. I highly recommend!

If you loved the Naturepedic crib mattress, you'll love this one too!
This is a fantastic kid's mattress that made for a seamless transition from the Naturepedic crib mattress. If you're unfamiliar with these mattresses and are accustomed to soft, plush "grown-up" mattresses, you may find this too firm or too stark. However, it's perfect for a kid's growing body. There is no worry of off-gassing or chemical smells - it came right out of the box and onto the bed with no airing out time. The waterproof side is great, with a nice texture that is nothing like a plastic-y waterproof pad. This is a high-quality mattress made from high-quality materials that will leave everyone sleeping well at night!

Best choice in organic kid mattresses
Ordered this mattress after much research and debate. I am happy with my decision. The mattress was not too firm as other reviews remarked, and is actually almost softer than I wanted because I was hoping the firmer the mattress the longer it will last. It is certainly much softer than the 2-sided naturepedic crib mattress. I bought this for my son transitioning to a big boy bed and expect it to last through childhood. I believe it will and it is very comfortable. We are using the waterproof side which I LOVE. It protects the top and sides without having an awful crunchy, noisy sound or feeling. There was a slight natural odor as some commented in reviews but only if you put your nose to the bed and you can't smell it from the waterproof side. Certainly no strong odor or chemical smell. It is expensive, but compared to adult organic, non-toxic mattresses it is much cheaper and I felt was worth the investment for my son's health and my peace of mind.

Feels Lumpy
12/13/2015 Update: After receiving an email from Naturepedic that the mattress I purchased was defective, I ordered a new one. We've had the mattress for about five months now. No issues with lumpiness. However, I feel like the outer trim of the mattress is starting to loose it's shape/looking bent. I don't believe this is normal wear-and-tear because I've never had this issue with my other mattress. =( I was excited to purchase this matress for my toddler as her new big girl bed; however, I was disappointed with the product for a few reasons: 1) I grew up sleeping on very firm mattresses. I prefer them and enjoy them. Although firm, something about this mattress made it quite uncomfortable. It's just too firm. 2) The discomfort of the firm mattress could be that it feels lumpy. It seems like individual springs can be felt while laying on the bed and shifting positions. 3) The waterproof side of the matress seemed loud. The cover was not taught, so when I moved my arms across it, it was as if I was laying on vinyl plastic that can be heard when moving. I purchased a NP crib mattress and had no problems with its quality; however, the twin mattress was a big disappointment. If you have a recommendation for a quality organic mattress, please share.

Barely used and it is falling apart - EXTREMELY disappointing purchase
I never write reviews but I am EXTREMELY disappointed with this mattress. We've had it for just over a year now and we still have not transitioned my toddler to the bed so this mattress has only been slept on a handful of times by the occasional house guest. When we first received this mattress I noticed that it elevated in the center so it almost felt as if you were rolling down hill on either side of the mattress. I thought perhaps this was because it was new and that it would settle down over time but sadly it hasn't. Also the sides of the mattress are sagging. It's almost as if the side of the mattress totally collapses on itself when you sit on it. I flipped the mattress over to the non-potty training side and it weirdly lumpy. I wanted to love this mattress. I paid more for this mattress than I wanted to because I trusted the brand and I definitely wanted an organic mattress. But I'm sad to say that this mattress was not even close to what we were hoping for. We wanted a mattress our toddler could grow up on, now I'm going to have to buy him a new mattress before he even gets a chance to use it.

Expensive, but worth every penny!
Since infancy, my now 3 year-old daughter has slept on a Naturepedic crib mattress in her crib and toddler bed. So when she recently transitioned to a twin-sized "big girl" bed (Charleston Solid Hardwood Platform Bed Frame - Twin Size), Naturepedic was our first choice for a mattress that we knew would be free of chemical flame retardants. We opted for the 2-in-1 mattress instead of the single-sided one for $100 cheaper because we knew from experience (with the crib mattress) that it's 100-times easier to wipe up accidents from the waterproof fabric of the mattress itself, than to have to remove a separate mattress pad and throw it in the wash. Plus, many waterproof mattress pads are made of PVC/vinyl, a toxic plastic the emits phthalate fumes that you don't want your child inhaling in their sleep! The waterproof side of the Naturepedic mattress is made of food-grade polyethylene, which is non-toxic and doesn't give off any harmful fumes. Yes, the waterproof side of the mattress is somewhat firm, but not excessively so, and most importantly, my daughter has never complained about being uncomfortable. After all, she spent the first 3+ years of her life sleeping on an ultra-firm crib mattress, so she doesn't know any differently when it comes to sleeping surfaces. Plus, pediatricians recommend a firm mattress for younger kids, whose bones and skeletal structures are still developing. Once my daughter is older (and fully nighttime potty-trained!), we'll flip the mattress over and use the quilted side. This mattress was recently put to the test and passed with flying colors! A few weeks after we bought it, my daughter had an upset stomach in the middle of the night. She threw up a total of 4 times, soaking her pajamas and bed sheets, but the waterproof surface of this Naturepedic mattress completely withstood it all. Each time, all we needed to do was to wipe the surface of the mattress with Seventh Generation Disinfecting Multi-Surface Wipes, 70 Count, change the sheets and put her back to bed. We wouldn't have had enough mattress pads to cope with all the throw-ups that she had. In short, this mattress helped make a rough night a little less difficult for all of us. I highly recommend it. Grade: A

Good for Allergies; Hard Though
Switching to this mattress stopped an allergic reaction I was having to my memory foam mattress (all the chemicals!). So in that respect, 5 stars. But this mattress is very hard, so I had to buy a latex mattress topper to be able to sleep on it.

HARD
My 13 year old wanted a really firm mattress, so we bought him this one. He even wanted the firmer side up. That lasted a day. So we flipped it to the "less firm" side, which was still way too hard. The two sides are board v. Heavy blanket on board. We wound up buying him a 3" featherbed. I still find it too hard, but he likes it now, though, and finds it just right. The featherbed made all the difference.

Well made but extra firm
We purchased this mattress for our now 3 year-old son. I have read that sleeping on an extra firm mattress is good for growing bodies, but I must say that as a mother laying next to him at bedtime, it feels a bit uncomfortable. That being said, our son has never complained, and it has been almost 6 months since he started sleeping on it. Naturepedic has a good price for an organic mattress, so we will simply purchase an organic topper for comfort when he needs it.

Great idea. Not that comfortable.
I really like the idea of this bed and the fact that it doesn't have most of the nasty chemicals in it that other beds do. That said this is not the most comfortable bed. Its heavy and feels bouncy. My little boy doesn't seem to mind it, but it just isn't that comfortable of a bed.

uncomfortable
I hate to give a low rating to a company that makes a matress with little or no fire retardants, but, this mattress was very uncomfortable. It felt like an old crib matress. Even on the softer side of the mattress, you could feel every spring.

Five Stars
Great mattress for our 2 year old. No chemical smells, and nice cleanable surface.

This has been great for my daughter
This has been great for my daughter. Feels like a regular mattress. It has held up very well, despite my daughter jumping on it at least weekly, and sometimes with her friends (it is on the floor for safety reasons). I would give it 5 stars if it were cheaper....seemed a little bit more expensive than it needed to be.

Great item and seller!
This is the second time I have purchased this item and I am very happy with it. As described & well packaged. I would recommend this product and seller.

And sleep comfortably knowing my kids are not exposed to harmful chemicals
I have three of these that I have purchased over the years for my three kids. Outstanding quality and complete satisfaction. Never had to offgas it. And sleep comfortably knowing my kids are not exposed to harmful chemicals. This mattress is supported by the environmental working group.

Excellent. Item was purchased for 2 year old
Excellent. Item was purchased for 2 year old. Used on the floor (montessori inspired) with a low profile boxspring. Child sleeps well and I've even fell asleep on it. Very expensive but worth the cost. No odors or new mattress smell.

comfortable and quite dense so I imagine it will hold ...
The bed was purchased for my 3 year old granddaughter because my daughter felt it was important for her to have an organic mattress. We chose this one because it was mid-price and had one waterproof side. Also free shipping with Amazon prime! The bed seems to be very supportive, comfortable and quite dense so I imagine it will hold up well for many years.

Five Stars
great product!!

Great buy
Bought this for my 2 year old son. There is no chemical smell with this mattress which is 1 reason why I purchased. My daughters mattress from a regular mattress brand was purchased 3 years ago and still stinks like chemicals when I take the sheets and cover off. This mattress is also great with the waterproof side that actually works and is easy to clean. Comfortable and my son loves it

Good organic product.
Not for those with aches and pains, but good for kids! We have a twin and a full size of this brand and are very happy. We also bought real mattress protectors since the mattresses are expensive, but so worth it.

great mattress
Few people realize the dangerous chemicals in traditional mattresses. It may see like a huge expense to spring for the organic mattress, but it's well worth it knowing that your child is not inhaling toxins while s/he sleeps. As far as organic mattresses go, this one is extremely comfortable. The vendor, "Elephant Ears" I think it was called was excellent and offered free shipping, which saved me $150. This was a very good buy. My baby sleeps like a baby in it.

Five Stars
Excellent quality and finish. Perfect for toddler transitioning from naturepedic infant mattress.

Five Stars
Fits great for a 3 year old. No smell as others stated

Great Mattress
This mattress is great. We don't think it is at all hard as other reviewers have complained. If you want a super deep pillow top type mattress then this probably isn't the one for you, but for a high quality, comfortable, basic organic mattress this one fits perfectly.

Loyal Customer
Love Naturepedic! Wish they made a king size!!

Comfy, safe and reasonably priced
I bought these for my twins after they grew out of their cribs. I had also used Naturepedic mattresses in their cribs. These mattresses are comfortable and reasonably priced for organic, chemical free mattresses. I would always recommend this brand and will buy this brand for my bed when it's time to replace our current mattress.

Five Stars
Fabulous bed! Zero odor, soft Quilting, natural materials.

Great!
Great service, love these mattresses. Hopefully it lasts 20 years!

Four Stars
A little bit too hard on one side.

Hard as a rock
I bought two of these mattresses for my daughters (age 7 and 11) thinking that the the firmness shouldn't be an issue for bodies as light as they are. I love the fact that they are organic, and that they have a water proof side which is good for the earlier, bed-wetting ages. However, they are so hard that my daughters complain about them. I tried a thin topper, and that didn't work. I eventually bought a 3 inch organic foam topper for one of the mattresses and that did the trick for my older daughter. However, the cost worked out such that I would have been better off getting an organic foam mattress to start with.

Four Stars
Great mattress, a little on the firm side which is what I was looking for.

I feel safe, but man it's expensive!
I bought this mattress because it was chemical-free, and I feel really good about that. I thought it was hypoallergenic, but when I received it, noticed that it had side vents. When I called the company about this, they tried to tell me that dust mites stay on the top layer only, so they offered a mattress pad. I'm a physician, and I wasn't happy with that response. I had to buy an additional hypoallergenic cover. It's nice that one side is waterproof, and the other side cottony. I've had the mattress for about a year now for my two year old. It sagged a bit immediately, and the top layer is a bit loose. These are made on a one-by-one basis, and made to order, so I guess that's ok. I thought this would last him 'til high school, but now I'm not so sure. It hurts my back to sleep on it because it's rather firm. After a year, it seems to have an odd-rice-homey sort of smell. Not sure I would buy again because of the price. Maybe all natural/chemical free mattresses sag?! I gave it four stars instead of three because at the time of purchase, there were not a lot of options out there for safer mattresses.

Awesome organic mattress
This is our second Naturepedic twin mattress, and we've also purchased multiple crib mattresses. We always love them, and feel good about our kids burying their faces in this organic, harsh-chemical free mattress. I read through the reviews, but have to disagree that this mattress is too firm, at least, not for a child. I bought it for my preschooler, and little kids often use firmer mattresses. I've fallen asleep on it multiple times and think it's fine, and my kids sleep well on these. I love that one side is water-proof for now, and that we can flip it over for a softer side for when the kids are a bit older. I have no complaints at all. UPDATE: At age 6, my son did start to complain that his mattress was too hard. It was wonderful to be able to simply flip his mattress over from the water-proof side to the softer side and please him without having to buy a new mattress! I also have to add that Naturepedic stands behind their lifetime guarantee. After less than 6 months, a spring had somehow rotated itself sideways in our second of these mattresses and was poking to the side. We don't know why or how this happened, but we wrote to Naturepedic and sent them pictures, and they immediately sent us a new mattress. No charge, no hassle. Very, very pleased.

Five Stars
Great mattress.

Cheaper from Amazon than the company's own website!
It was pretty weird to buy a mattress online, but I had no luck finding a local store that sold organic (or just non-toxic) mattresses. I really wanted my son to have a mattress that wouldn't be harmful to his health. This one fits the bill, and it seems to be the least expensive option out there. The manufacturer's own website has it listed for $100 more than Amazon, plus they charge $75 shipping. I was pleased with Amazon's price and the free shipping (from Pennsylvania to California, no less!) The mattress is firm, but comfortable. My 3-year-old son has been sleeping just fine on it. I took a nap on it one day, and I noticed it was firmer than my own mattress.... but I slept just fine.

I really wanted to love this mattress
I really wanted to love this mattress. Organic was a priority for me and when reading the reviews it seemed perfect. Unfortunately, the mattress I received is hollow. There is absolutely no support in the middle of this mattress and if an adult was to lay on it, it caves dramatically in the center. I have no idea if my particular mattress is defective but I am definitely disappointed in the product.

Comfortable & Organic!
I did a lot of research on mattresses and the incidences of sids when my daughter was born, and ultimately went with an organic crib mattress. When it came time to getting her a big girl bed, I had a very hard time finding full organic mattresses. Not one store in my entire city sells them. So I turned online, and researched every brand I could find. I needed an organic mattress that was not based with latex, and so many of them are. I'm allergic to latex, and fear my daughter will eventually share that allergy. Naturepedic is the brand I continued to come back to, as the best option on the market. Expensive, yes, but there are others that are far more, and none that are less that are made of cotton and not latex. What made me hesitate the most in my purchase is the reviews that said the mattress was too firm. I looked into organic mattress toppers that could help with that, but even those were a small fortune. Finally, I decided to go with this mattress. So glad I did, excellent choice. It is NOT too firm or too hard, it's extremely comfortable. It's possible that they made changes since some of these reviews were posted, to make it less hard. I have a terrible back & hip, and this mattress is comfortable to me. My daughter absolutely melts into it, and sleeps wonderfully! It had zero smell when we opened it - no off gassing, no need to air it out at all. When reading reviews, read the newest ones first. Because I think changes were made to this mattress to make it even better. For us, it's a non-toxic, organic, comfortable, odorless option for a mattress. I really think this one is your best bet!

Great Quality
I was slightly worried about ordering this mattress after reading a couple of reviews stating it was rock hard. I went ahead and ordered it anyway because my daughter has chemical sensitivities, and this was the least expensive, safest option I could find for her. I am happy to report that this mattress, while firm, is indeed comfortable enough- I actually fell asleep while laying with my daughter at bedtime and had a very restful night. My back and hips also felt great when I woke. My daughter slept like a rock and didn't stir until morning. I also noticed that, while I am usually a mouth breather when I sleep, it was very easy for me to breathe through my nose last night. This could be due to the newness of the mattress and the absence of dust mites, but I think the lack of chemicals is probably a contributing factor (I usually start sneezing whenever I walk into a store that sells new furniture because of the off-gassing chemicals). My daughter's nose seemed to stay clear as well. This was a big expenditure for us, but I'm glad we did it because now we have peace of mind that our little girl has a healthy place to sleep until she reaches adulthood. When we can afford it, I'd love to get a Naturepedic for the master bedroom as well.

We used mattress for 6 months - and had to throw it in the garbage
We used mattress for 6 months - but it still had very strong and irritating smell. When we contacted naturepedic - we were told that nothing can be done. We cut the mattress and here is what we foun: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vvUF5LSzIJo Please watch before you buy!

Excellent
I read and watched multiple reviews and was a little skeptical about if this mattress would be a good fit for me. I decided to give it a try, and am so happy with my decision. I have only been able to sleep on it a few nights, so I can't speak to long term satisfaction, but just the feel of the mattress is so unique and comfortable. Every time I pass by my bed now, I can't help but flop on it and lay there for a few minutes. If you are on the fence about trying the mattress, I would say go for it for sure. The only disadvantage that I've noticed so far is that it is near impossible to get out of bed in the morning. I was a few minutes late to work the last few mornings because I did not want to leave my bed. When I was reading all the reviews, I heard that purple fluffs up their review page to make their mattress look better. After trying this mattress, I do not believe that is true. I believe that people genuinely love the product and want to share it with other people. I am not typically one to go out of my way to write a review, but this product is incredible so I felt compelled to do so. Obviously everyone is different so you may not have the same experience I have had, but if you are on the fence and looking for a great mattress, give Purple a try.

Ok Experience
It’s been an OK experience. We had a very old mattress so when our Purple mattress arrived and we tested it out the difference was big. The major good thing is that I don’t feel my husband moving and turning around anymore. That’s great! But other than that I can’t really say it’s an “out of this world, amazing mattress”. We were also disappointed cause we bought it just before thanksgiving and we asked them to check if a Black Friday sale was going to take place. No one could inform us anything so we went ahead and bought it with the current sale. We were very disappointed to find out on Thanksgiving Day that the sale at that time was the free Purple Blanket + $100 discount. We called and they couldn’t honor us that so that was a bummer.

Not enough give
I don't know when we purchased this mattress. I think if I were a back sleeper, it might be good, but I sleep on my side. This mattress does not allow enough give at the hips (contrary to pictures showing the spine in perfect alignment). So, my waist is pulled downward causing discomfort and constant shifting and readjusting. I think I slept better on my 20 year old mattress. I actually hope we can return this mattress and get something else. Would hate to have a mattress that we paid hard earned money for and can't stand to sleep on.

Nice Matress
Every morning my wife and I would wake up with back ache's from our old mattress. From asking around my chiropractor said many of his clients had tried the purple mattress and really liked it. We decided to purchase one and it is great. Nice and firm. We sleep much better at night and feel great in the mornings now.

terrible
terrible experience bought purple products some showed up, some didn't and purple customer service sucks they don't reply and have been no help what so ever. terrible experience.

Very Comfy!!!
We have not noticed a difference in back pain just yet but we do notice we don’t want to get out of bed in the morning due to the mattress being so comfy.

Perfect
A gift for my pregnant daughter. She says PERFECT!!!

Does not disappoint
Once I got a few adjustments from my chiropractor and slept on my new purple mattress I haven’t had any back problems since. I’m very satisfied with my results.

SO COMFY
I love this mattress. It is now my favorite place to be. So comfy and cool all night long.

Review
I’m a big fan of everything but the bed. I love the pillow, the sheets, the driving cushion. 10/10 for those. The mattress is terrible. No matter which way I sleep I’m always waking up with lower back pain and I never realized it was the mattress until I started sleeping in hotels and waking up pain free. It’s 1000% the mattress :(

Not all it’s cracked up to be
I am not going to buy purple products again. I got the mattress which was advertised as being long lasting but after a few months it has obviously gotten worn in. It started to feel like crinkled plastic after less than 3 months and I thought about returning it but got lazy about it. We also got the purple mattress cover but the first time the baby wet the bed it went right through the cover. Mattress cover useless. The bed stand commercial shows sumo wrestlers fighting on the platform, but when mine showed up the holes were drilled in the wrong places by about a 1/4” which made it extremely hard to put together and 6 months later the metal bangs from warping and being pushed around by my weight. I spent a lot on this bed and all the great features advertised were hype and lies.

So comfortable
After hauling this heavy thing up two flights of stairs, my back was killing me. I unpacked the mattress, laid down, and within 5 min, my back was feeling great! I have had the Purple mattress now for more than 2 weeks, and I’ve had wonderful sleep and zero back pain. I need a firm mattress for my lower back, but as I’ve gotten older, a traditional firm mattress hurts my shoulders and hips. The Purple supports my back while it forgives my pointy bits. I love it! Can’t recommend it enough!

Still deciding
I am still deciding I fall asleep well but have been waking up with back pain pretty intense not sure if it’s the mattress or what yet

A great night's sleep!
I'd had my old mattress for 15 years, and knew I needed an upgrade. I compared over a dozen different mattresses before going with Purple - the reason I selected Purple was because of its new and unique technology. I'm so glad I went with it - it's so supportive and comfortable. My partner had trouble adjusting (side sleeper), but after about a week, he is well-adjusted and sleeps like a rock! The only issue I had is that the queen-sized mattress is definitely more than 100 lbs, but on the site, it's advertised as being less than 100. It was *extremely* heavy, and difficult to move once it's out of the case, but its level of comfort and support makes up for it all.

Purple review
Slightly firm but the softness feels luxurious

Maybe I need to sleep on the bed 2 more months.
Every morning my back is sore. The pain is about 8 of 10. An hour after I am up and moving around the pain disapates. I think I may need to add 200 lbs of weights during the day, to take some of the firmness out of the mattress.

Best bed purchase ever
I can’t reqlly say more than this bed is amazing. I have had it for two weeks now and sleep better than I ever had before

Amazing bed and customer service!!!
This is my second bed with purple and both times I have been more than pleased. I’ve never slept on a more comfortable bed or dealt with better customer service!!

Sleep like an angel in the clouds
I have multiple back issues including stenosis and bulging discs as well as osteoarthritis. By far the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. I look forward to going to bed at night. It is now my haven. From couch potato to purple potato :)

Pretty upsetting.
I wish that I could write a review on the item that was suppose to be here last week but I haven’t received it yet. When I emailed purple they took almost a week to get back to me with a ****** nonsense answer that they ran out of material and would need another 1-3 weeks to make my mattress then they would have it shipped. I’m 8 months pregnant and sleeping on an air mattress because they ran out of material. Don’t ever buy from this company. Purple rules all!
I love the color purple anyway but this mattress has changed my life! The best sleep I have had in 10 years! I'm getting them for the entire house!

It’s only been a week...
...but so far it’s been great. A mattress is a long term relationship though so what really matters is how I feel after a few months. So far I really do love it, but I was sleeping on garbage before. Trust me, I’ll edit this review later if my opinion changes.

Expectations Exceeded
I had high expectations.... you’ve exceeded them.

Gift
I gifted this to someone, and they gave it the best possible rating !

My dream bed!
Within 2 days of sleeping on this bed my neck and back pain was non-exsistent. I could sleep for 5 hours and wake up refreshed. It's been a month now and I am soo happy with my purchase..

Not Worth The Money
I wanted to support a local Utah company and was so excited to receive this mattress but this was a huge mistake. The quality of this mattress felt like a blow-up mattress that should cost a fraction of the price. For me (skinny guy sleeping on his stomach) it was just uncomfortable and felt weird. To be fair I've heard others say they bought it and like it but for me it was laughable to see what I received for $1200. I also bought the purple mattress protector and it feels like plastic compared to my previous one. Be careful because they won't refund the mattress protectors so I wasted about $70. Buyers beware!

Sleep finally restored!!!
I can’t believe how awesome this bed is! I did lots and lots of research and decided to get the Purple bed and I’m so happy I did! I have never slept better! Super happy with the bed!

Not impressed
First off, the king sized mattress does not fit on our king sized bed frame. It hangs off the foot of the bed and the slats show on the sides. Ridiculous. Never had this issue with any other bed. The waffle pattern feel isn't exactly soft and comfy either. Still we gave it a try to see if we got amazing sleep. It wasn't for us. I thought the returns process would be simple like Casper's. I called and the wait was long so they called back. Then instead of processing the return then and there like Casper did, I had to get an email and submit a return form. And then we'll see how the rest of the process goes. Also note that when you buy the mattress there is usually a free promo item. When you return the mattress, you cannot return the item so you are charged full price. There should be a note when you select the promo item to remind customers of this fact. I would have selected no gift. But I guess by being shady, Purple ensures if you hate the mattress, at least they sold you $130 sheets.

Amazed
Let me start by saying WOW. I have been sleeping on a Nectar mattress for a while. Every morning I would wake up to lower back pain that would go away after 30 minutes. I blamed this on being 51. The first night sleeping on the Purple I woke with no back pain. My wife had back surgery 2 and 1/2 years ago she says this is a game changer. My only regret is not ordering this sooner and not ordering the pillow. PSA the sheets are also amazing.

Hands down the best mattress.
Hands down the best mattress. If Purple contacted me and said I needed to pay $300 more to keep the mattress I would rather pay it than give it up. The best investment and purchase I’ve ever made. My partner says the same thing!!

Great Sleep
I work 2 jobs, about 55 hours a week, and am on my feet 95% of that time. had lots of trouble sleeping thru the night until the Purple mattress came along. in 3 weeks, i have slept amazing. even slept thru my alarm 4 times!

The best mattress i've slept on period
This thing helped me rest on a whole nother level i will definitely buy another one when this one is of age.

Love it
Me and my fiancé absolutely love this mattress. We’ve slept so well since we’ve got it.

Our 2nd Purple Mattress
Loved our Purple mattress so much we decided to allow our guests to experience this great mattress as well.

This is life changing!
This mattress is absolutely life changing! I suffered back pain and haven’t slept well in years! The purple mattres has changed my life. I sleep like a baby and have no back pain at all!

Seriously good sleep
I was definitely skeptical about buying a mattress online, but with the return policy I figured I would try it. Best idea ever! I’m such a light sleeper, and I no longer get woken up when my husband is restless or the cats are jumping all around. Plus, it’s so comfortable!

Mattress is unique, but nice. Trying to do an exchange has been well...trying.
I got the wrong size mattress and while I appreciate their willingness to do an exchange, the process has been liborious. The product itself is quite nice for the price. Thank you.

Fixed all of my sleeping issues!
I’m a prominent side sleeper and was consistently waking up with shoulder and back pain. This new mattress solved those issues the first night I slept on it. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Bad
Feel like I'm falling out a bed wake up !with a back ache

10/10 would recommend to friend
This mattress is perfect. My wife and I both used to gravitate toward the center of our old mattress, where it caved in, and wind up fighting about which of us was on the other's side more. This isn't a problem anymore! We like sleeping together again! She even hooked up the TV in the bedroom! We're never leaving this bed. Seriously, it's great. It isn't hot. We can't feel each other move at night, which is good for my wife because I move around more than two pigs fighting under a blanket at night and now I get yelled at a lot less on the whole. Money well spent!
