Love this store as we have purchased office furniture from it even when it was called PLUMMERS. So we have been customers for decades. We went there to add to our office in hopes of finding Snowflake-- I believe the line is called. But we were informed they were no longer selling it. Our salesperson did say it might come back after some adjustments?! However there was actually ONE small desk on the floor of that line waiting for us. We have always been met with professionalism & fine customer service. We shall continue to shop there because we love their design aesthetic. It's a truly best place to start

Love this place! I cannot believe it took me SO long to stumble upon. It's chic design, Scandinavian style, lovely quality and variety. Best of all the price feels perfect. It's better quality and style than IKEA but with slightly higher prices, but not so high that you feel ripped off like you would at the big name corporate furniture stores. I wanted to furnish my whole place in their collection.

My fiancé and I went to get an idea on their material and pricing. When we walked in, my fiancé had a question about their options in color and such, and the worker up front told her to go walk around and she'll see what colors they had. No direct answer was given and they were rude. As we walked around, no one approaches us to see if we had questions or needed help. Overall, they just didn't care about their customers.
Diana gets 10 stars. Diana is great and goes the extra mile to assist you. Our couch was delivered and it had a defect. Diana did her absolute best to make it right, but the manager was not as helpful, thus not 5 stars. It finally worked out. We went back for tables, but only because we love Diana.

If you're looking for beautiful, classy furniture for your home or office you can't go wrong with Scandinavian Designs! I live in North Hollywood and found them online, decided to check out them out and was really glad I did. I was impressed as soon as I walked in with the exquisite design and obviously fine craftsmanship, the wide selection, reasonable prices, and overall lovely yet practical, sturdy and quality of their furniture. Tom was very knowledgeable and helpful, and I particularly loved their home décor and framed wall artwork (being an artist myself I enjoyed looking at all the wonderful pieces they had on display throughout the store). If you care about high quality and beauty in your surroundings, this is the place to go!
This is my favorite lower-priced furniture brand... I have a lot of their pieces in my house and have no complaints with the quality at all. This location - while maybe not as large as the Culver City showroom - is still well stocked and the sales team is terrific. They have decent sales, so make sure to sign up for their email list. And delivery to most parts of LA is a flat $100... which is a total bargain. If you're a fan of modern design at very reasonable prices, Scandinavian Designs should be at the top of your list.

Beautiful & high quality furniture. The pieces on display at the store itself are so gorgeous. Hard to choose from! We love our new Scandinavian inspired bed & the night stands we chose to accompany it. We do, however, wish delivery fees were included in the price of the furniture. Will return to get a few more pieces as needed!
What an amazing experience we had at this location. We needed a futon for my mom and Marc was so kind and knowledge and really made the process so quick.
I pulled into their parking lot at night with a flat tire and Tom the manager was kind enough to let me wait inside until a tow truck came to tow my car, even offered me coffee. While I visited this location under different circumstances, I believe this was a testament to Tom's principles of excellent customer service as they go beyond just his business. The staff at Scandinavian Design were very helpful and accommodating to my changing circumstances. We purchased some items there for an office. Before receiving them the use of the room change to a bedroom and I couldn't use the office items. They allowed me to cancel the order without any penalties. So when the the circumstances for the use of the room changed back, I called them back up and reordered the items. Everything, desk and drawers, have been working quite nicely. Go check this place out. The prices and quality is well worth it.
Great products. Stellar service. Plus, this new location is on point! I like a lot of the products (definitely not all ha) at Scandinavian Designs. The value is there especially if you buy when they have a sale going on. What tips this location over the 100% percentile for me is the awesome customer service by their one and only Romeo - the store manager. Romeo gives proper advice (I design homes for a living) and is patient throughout the whole process. He has tremendous follow-through so when he says he will call back, he actually calls back when he said he will call you back. Amazing, right? He's fast and clear too. I can go on and on but you get my point about Romeo. Definitely look for him. I live in South San Jose so you can't beat this location for me. Hands down, I'm a very satisfied customer!
Buyer Beware. I was deceived and lied to by one of the managers, Audra at the store when I purchased a VERY expensive sectional. She was not honest about how many pieces came with the sectional I ordered. I looked it up online when I got home and found out that what she told me was not true. Went back to the store and discussed with her, but she twisted the story around. Sectional has not been delivered, will be canceling the order and going elsewhere. Stay clear of this store.

Love the contemporary style furniture, and especially Romeo's great assistance on helping us to pick up the best package to fit our budget and the design. The whole team is fantastic, my son missed his favorite car toy at the store, and the staff nicely saved our contact info, few days later, they found this tiny toy and gave us a call. Really appreciate it! Here attached the picture of our living room, which included the sofa and the coffee table from the purchased in the store. And we continued to buy more furniture from online such as bedside table, the package was arrived in good condition, and basically it was already assembled, I just need to put on the foot stand.
We came to this store many times to look at furniture and finally decided on few items. Biggest one would be the dining table that Audrey recommended, some battery candles, and a floor standing mirror. The store sell quality stuff at a pretty decent price in my opinion, yes, you can probably find cheaper items in some other furniture stores near by, but the quality won't nearly as good. Plus my sales person Audrey's service is excellent, she is always trying to save us money and give recommendations that makes sense. I would recommend this store and Audrey to anybody that's looking for furniture.
My spouse and I are furnishing a home we purchased after having lost everything in the Sonoma County fires two years ago. Furniture shopping from scratch is daunting, to say the least. After our incredibly positive and productive experience at Scandinavian Designs on Blossom Hill Road, we feel that a huge weight has been lifted. Audra Klinger was our sales associate and she could not have been more helpful. Audra has a beautiful eye and a great spatial sense. We visited Scandinavian designs 16 years back in San Jose/Cupertino, and were greeted by Romeo with a warm smile. He merely answered every question we had with patience and offered some design ideas when we were confused. Customer Service is the reason, Scandinavian Design is our favorite go to place for all our furniture needs for such a long time. Highly recommend Romeo who sits in the Scandinavian Design store in Blossom Hill!
We furnished our new home entirely with SD. We went with a total mid century modern vibe. The manager was very helpful. It took us several visits to make our choices. They were willing to move furniture all over the store so we could visualize items together. They helped us purchase at the best time so there was a sale. Delivery was great. Nothing was damaged. We'll definitely buy from them again.
I just had the best service at this store. The entire staff is smiling all the time and they all greet you immediately when you enter the store. They all help each other with customer needs. I worked with Ron to pick out my furniture. I met Audra who is the assistant manager the following day to place the order. She remembered first thing in the morning that I was coming and was ready to work on the order. I needed the furniture to be delivered in another city and on a specific day because my husband was going to have surgery and I needed to care for him. She told me she would call the delivery center and see if they could arrange a way to squeeze this delivery earlier. She called within 30 minutes with the great news. I am so impressed that she REALLY CALL IMMEDIATELY as she said. There are alot of furniture stores out there you can shop for price and selection. Customer service is so important, you want proper attention and feel confident with the salesperson and the company you are purchasing from. Audra you are a professional ! You truly are very kind and sincere when you are working with the customers and your staff. I did watch your interaction before I was introduce to you to follow up with my order. We had a great experience here. Associates were helpful but also let you go at your own pace. The show room/store has tons of options. Once we decided to purchase, they were efficient and got us a delivery scheduled and donation pick up options for old furniture. The delivery team arrived on time and were fantastic. Within 15 mins they delivered and assembled all of our furniture and took the packaging with them. This was the best large purchase experience I've ever had. I would definitely return to this store. Oh and we love the furniture :) it's beautiful, stylish and well made.
greeted as I came in the door. 5 sales people at desk. The woman ask me what I was looking for. I wanted to buy a stressless chair. She took me over to the chairs and answered a few questions. She said I will get you someone who knows the chairs and can answer my questions. Meanwhile I tried several chairs, the salesman never came over. The sales people talked among themselves. I walked out the door while they continued to talk to each other. Pitiful sales staff. Lost a $4000 sale.
Look for Romeo. He's really helpful and explained everything to us. It's difficult to find your favorite furnitures but you should give this store a shot. Remeo called me a few hours after we left the store to confirm the delivery date again and kept me posted on those pieces what weren't in stock. The delivery guys are very nice too. They arrived on time (actually a bit earlier and they called and waited for me). They brought in furnitures and assembled them right away. It was raining on that day and they still finished their job. There was a little split on the wood of our coffeetable (actually I didn't even notice before they pointed out, but they were very honest and told me) and they took note of that and I'd get a new one for free, and free delivery and they take away the old one. Very positive and pleasant experience!
Really nice store; the staff are ready to help when you walk in. The store is huge - very spacious with high ceilings. Make sure you measure your space at home carefully, because what looks like a reasonably sized piece of furniture in their store may dwarf your space at home! I wanted to give a shout out to Victoria, who was great at answering our questions, lent us a tape measure, and didn't pressure or rush us. She's also very easy to reach by phone!

Short story: I'm not sure I've ever experienced better customer service before; and most of the thanks goes to Romeo. Longer story (read to the end because there are a lot of Customer Support kudos): My wife and I went to the showroom on Blossom Hill to check out couches and entertainment stands. Romeo greeted us when we entered and let us know he was available if we needed any help or had questions; that was all, no hovering. We explored the showroom and found some items that interested us. Romeo made himself available and we chatted thru some of the details of the products. Romeo walked us thru the pros and cons given our lifestyle needs (having a small child and crazy yellow lab). We found the items that were perfect for our situation and he helped us check out; applying all deals and discounts without us having to pry for them. We scheduled our delivery date, and were on our way. Fast forward a couple weeks. Our house is undergoing a major renovation and, as all construction projects go, we had underestimated the timeline to when the room would be ready. I called to reschedule delivery, Romeo happened to pick up and he seemed to remember exactly who I was from weeks earlier. He then helped me push the delivery date out a couple weeks, no questions asked. Fast forward a couple more weeks. Construction still underway. I called again to reschedule delivery and push it out a couple weeks. No problem, no questions asked. Fast forward a couple weeks. The items we safely delivered to the house (very friendly delivery duo too). Items are dropped off in the living room; I waived installation. Observing and inspecting the size of the securely wrapped pieces of furniture, started to get me thinking if this couch would even fit in the living room space. I check the website for dimensions, cut out come cardboard dimension pieces to see scale, and positioned them in the room. Yep, definitely too large for the room. Apparently when you look at furniture in a big a$$ warehouse, the pieces seem smaller than they actually are. My wife then called customer support to ask about the return policy (since, frankly, I was too embarrassed after rescheduling twice and then completely ignoring room measurements). She was transferred to Romeo since he had processed the order; he was delightful as usual. Outcome: since we hadn't opened the protective shipping wrap and had also called within 14 days of delivery, there was no restocking fee. Additionally, since we were planning on getting a [much smaller] couch from them, they could pickup the original couch when they dropped off the new couch for no additional fee. AND, since we had purchased the couch during a couch sale, Romeo offered us the same promo that had now been expired for close to 3 months. He is a rockstar, and we are so appreciative of his support and flexibility!
Both Reflections series Eight Drawer and Double Dresser are delivered on time. One had minor damage upon arrival and was replaced within a few days. WaiMan Chau (salesperson) was extremely polite and helpful throughout the process. The delivery teams handled the furniture with care and were very polite as well. Very satisfied with Scandinavian Designs and highly recommended.
The best furniture store in bay area hands down! Extremely happy and satisfied with the purchase. Great selection, top notch quality and very knowledgeable and friendly sales manager. Highly recommended! We told our requirements and Romeo, the sales manager was super kind and willing to help. We stayed until about 30 minutes after he should have been off but never felt rushed. We did not feel pressured to buy but at the same time got all the attention and guidance required to complete the purchase. We had been looking for a couch for our family room for quite some time. I had checked almost all furniture stores in bay area from pottery barn to crate and barrel and living spaces but was not able to find anything striking and as per my need. The sales manager Romeo went above and beyond. He was very honest in telling the pros and cons of each furniture piece, and answered all my questions. He also helped us immensely in deciding the paintings and rug that would go with the couch of our choice. I was going back and forth with the painting but Romeo and Victoria were very patient and provided excellent advise. I could not be anymore happier with this experience.

Special Kudos to our sales rep, Audra, and her manager, Romeo. We visited the store a few weeks ago to check out their furniture. We fell in love with the sectional couch, cowhide carpet and other items. We came in pretty close to closing but both Audra and Romeo did not cut us short with providing excellent service, they answered all our questions without us feeling rushed. We came home that night with a quote and a "good feeling" about this store. We came back today to take a final look at our favorite pieces and to finalized our order. We love the quality and modern design of the furnitures. We are very very excited to get our furniture delivered to our new home.

I absolutely love both the West LA and North Hollywood stores and their salespeople. The furniture is gorgeous and well made. And if you love mid-century modern, this is the place to go for beautiful re-creations and new Danish Modern designs. They have a brilliant sleeper (the Jonas) that opens to a super soft bed with no hassles because the cushions disappear under the couch when the bed is open. And the cherry bedroom frame and matching night tables (Reflections) AND dining room furniture (Norgaard table + Herning chairs) that we purchased are all stunning with excellent finishes. Finally, given the quality of the furniture, the prices are very reasonable (especially when on sale) and the delivery affordable and well done. What more could you ask for?
Unfortunately, my initial positive experience with Scandinavian Designs of two years ago was not emulated when I purchased a second lounge chair this past January 8. At the time I was told it would take 12-14 weeks for delivery. Actually took 25 weeks, including one week where the store "couldn't find" the chair; and this was AFTER they delivered the wrong item! When I initially called to find out what was up, after two days, I got Greg. Here's what another reviewer said about Greg, and I couldn't agree more: "Store manager Greg is unpleasant and inflexible. I didn't feel like he cared or understood how annoying it is to drive back and fourth to a store 4x to pick and return broken chairs. He was "too busy" to take my call. Zero stars for store manager" Once I connected with Finn, GM, things got slightly better, but still took another week to get a chair delivered. During this time they REQUIRED that we pay for the chair in full, prior to delivery--even though they initially delivered the wrong item. This is not how to do business. I really like the piece, but cannot recommend this store to future purchasers.
This HUGE, Danish (Viking Compound,) is located in a nice area of town, with plenty of parking available. As you approach their base; protect your loved ones, as there are a few freaked-up Vikings, still residing atop this camp. Quickly now, rush into this store for your safety, so you may avoid their unforgiving wrath, and use of these things called - 'metal weapons?' Should you manage to safely enter, simply find a comfortable chair, couch or a beautifully designed Danish rug to lay down-on, my friends ~ because the hardEST part of you journey NW will be over. Simply give out a holler for my new neighbor, and I trust one day, my friend, ARBY! ARBY; relative to a professional, creatively gifted artist, whom can compalabatetoryiest (the ability to masterfully integrate color, fabric, leather, glass and metal art structures with ease ~~~ AND, you shall receive the gift of clean water, without pleading with the villagers. Remember, ask for ARBY, maybe I mentioned him earlier? He single-handly furnished one of my properties! I ordered the Bolig bed with matching nightstand and tall chest/dresser in their natural driftwood color. The quality of the pieces is amazing and the installation was fast and professional. The only thing I would mention- and this might not be an issue for some people- the color of the driftwood is more warm / oak-like than the pictures online suggest. It's still very beautiful.
They have a HUGE show room so you can see, touch and try many of the items. The furniture is arranged in groups providing design ideas. The staf,f from the front sales people to the guys in the warehouse, were great to work with. The piece of furniture I bought was uncomfortable so I returned it. The return policy was simple and went smoothly.
Every step of my shopping experience here was enjoyable. They have a huge selection and my salesperson Jarrod knew EVERYTHING there was to know about each piece I was interested in. I ordered two sets of furniture with two separate delivery dates, and everything arrived as promised, in beautiful condition. Their delivery team is super efficient in the assembly process and careful to clean up boxes and packaging as they work. We gave them good tips for showing such care. I will definitely return when I need more furniture.
Arby was very helpful and professional when we selected our pieces of furniture. We had some issues with dining chairs that arrived damaged and he assisted us in getting replacements twice. Obviously it's a total shame that we had to return dining chairs twice because they arrive damage with missing parts. If this review was just for Arby I would have given 5stars. Store manager Greg is unpleasant and inflexible. I didn't feel like he cared or understood how annoying it is to drive back and fourth to a store 4x to pick and return broken chairs. He was "too busy" to take my call. Zero stars for store manager Greg.
Love this place! Furniture is solid and classic. I've been buying pieces from them for years. Just ordered a new bedroom set and need it ASAP for our move. Pro tip: call the store instead of ordering online and they'll get it to you faster. Gary Robinson was so on top of it, he was trying to get it delivered before we even move in! Really appreciate the top notch customer service.

Beautiful and comfortable! Jarrod was fantastic and knowledgeable and helped us with furniture for our living room, bedroom and the office. Delivery team was excellent as well. Highly recommend especially over some of the other competitors who do not have comfortable furniture!
I've always enjoyed Scandinavian Designs and this location hit the mark. The store is organized with excellent prices - especially compared to its' surrounding competitors. The staff was super friendly and we found some great deals. Gary, am associate at this location, was very helpful and took great care of us. The GM even stopped by and chatted us up for a bit while we were waiting to check out. The only thing I'd recommend is for the company to invest in modern billing software. The stuff they use looks straight from the late 90s / early 2000s ... cumbersome and not user friendly. I feel sorry for the staff!
My husband and I looked at about a dozen furniture stores, both in person and online. The only place we found furnishings which we liked that weren't ridiculously expensive was Scandinavian Designs. We ended up purchasing a custom sofa and chair, TV console, bed and nightstands. We were kept informed about the progress of our pieces while they were being manufactured and shipped to us from overseas. They were delivered and placed by two men who also did a great job. I would definitely purchase from them again.

I really love this place -- price is reasonable, slightly more expensive than Ikea but with good quality. The tables are super steady and the leather chairs and leather ottomans are nice. The white glove delivery service is the best -- so far it is the best delivery service among all. Comparing with other painful furniture delivery waiting experience, I should just purchase all the furniture from here. The consumer service is great too.

I happened upon the store looking for a cabinet. The store has great line of sight and was able to spot what I wanted at the back of the store. My associate was prompt and attentive and seemed genuine in my needs. Delivery was on time and was put together for me and clean up was efficient and the workers were kind. Btw the price was unbeatable. So check them out and tell them I sent u.

Scandinavian Designs is my favorite furniture store. I decorated my entire house with furniture purchased there starting with their store in the Bay Area. My latest purchases were two pieces of art work. Stunning. Needless to say, guest are always complimenting non-stop.
We had a great experience here! Dan, Elizabeth, and Carl were all very helpful and patient over several shopping trips. However, it was Chris who kindly and efficiently moved the different pieces of furniture around, that enabled us to visualize our space. That helped us seal the deal that we are thrilled with!
I have two Stressless chairs, one with a swivel side table. Probably purchased more than 10 years ago. Couple of days ago someone without sat on the table that was over the seat and broke the plastic part on under the table that goes on the swing arm . Searched but could not find a replacement part online. So I went to the store today and asked if I could get a part. The lady there, I did not get her name, went into the back, actually found the part and when I asked how much she gave it to me for free! Now that is uncommon service!!! I've also purchased an office desk with typing table extension, book case, file cabinet and other pieces from this location and can highly recommend them.
Terrible customer service or should I say zero customer. We came here due to proximity as we live in Gold River. We walked around for about 40 minutes and were ready to buy several thousand dollars worth of furniture and not one person asked if we needed help. And it's not like business is too good here, the place was empty! Next!

I have always enjoyed shopping at this store. My favorite part is I can go in a browse and not have a salesperson eager for a commission trying to sell me anything. I like to relax and shop and then if I have a question ask someone. I have always found the sales staff to be very friendly and helpful. I bought all of my office furniture and had it delivered and set up with no problems. I have also snagged a few very unique pieces at this store, most recently a BEAUTIFUL mid century modern glass coffee table with a blood orange bottom. AND it was marked down %40 as it was a floor model. We are obsessed with it! Recently I bought a couch on-line and it was horrible. Feeling so crushed about this experience led me to call this location to see if they had any bright colored couches. Lauren S was so adorable and sent me a photo of a great velvet purple chair! It was also a floor sample and it was %50 off the normal price. I went to get it and the other very helpful gal suggested another store where I was able to get my perfect bright blue velvet couch. They hooked it up! I will continue to shop here, get awesome unique furniture at killer rates!

We purchased a bed frame for our Sleep Number bed at a fabulous price. It was about 20 - 25% the cost of a frame from Sleep Number and is perfect. We also purchased two night stands which we love. Our sales associate, Maya, was great. When she said she'd do something she did. Great customer service. Even thought it's an outlet store customer service was better than most full service stores. It's about 100 miles away from our home in each direction but well worth the drive.
My girlfriend and I finally decided to close on our long-distance relationship by getting our own place, so while she was finishing up her education and getting to leave the east coast, I went out shopping for some new furniture. As I am an extreme minimalist and have always found Scandinavian furniture appealing, I took my coworker's advice and decided to see what Scandinavian Designs had to offer. I went to the store at the end of August while they were having a Labor Day sale. Maya and one of the gentleman working at the front desk (I forgot his name) helped me find Bolig, the bedframe I was looking for. I was a bit disappointed by the gaps between the mattress and the edges of the frame (I could see the railings on the display model), so Maya offered the newer model of the bed that was meant to reveal less of the railings. She said the bed will be ready for pickup by the early October, so I make a deposit payment of $200 and make arrangements to pick it up at Vacaville location. We did run into some troubles though. Maya called me early in October to inform me the bed is ready to be shipped, so I closed the remaining balance on my order. She said the bed would be delivered to Vacaville and ready for pickup by following Wednesday. However, the delivery department made some fatal mistakes and my pickup dates were kept being postponed. What really impressed me during this process is that despite the immense pressure I put on Maya, she took full responsibility for her actions and took the blame for everyone. Of course, I could've been more upset, but when she was genuine about her apology, then there was nothing for me to do or say as a customer but to empathize. To make up for the two-week postponement, she offered a complimentary delivery and setup at my house. I was thrilled that I didn't have to rent a pickup truck to go get it, but then somehow the Vacaville store received the bed sooner than Maya anticipated and informed me that I'll have to pick it up, but still offered to send his delivery guys for setup. This was a slight disappointment, since if you were taking responsibility to amend the issue, keeping the promise to have it delivered to my house should've still been the priority. They kept making excuses on why they couldn't deliver on my desired date/time, which was a gesture of defense in my perspective. Not a big deal now, but that made this entire experience 92% complete rather than 100%. The bed is beautiful though. For those of you looking for smaller headboard with minimalistic, modern design, this is the perfect bed. A small drawback is that not all the furniture are made in Denmark, Sweden, or Norway. Our bedframe was made in Malaysia, which made me frown a little. Either way, I put the Casper king mattress that I ordered in San Francisco showroom, and this is the perfect combination. Despite the ups and downs, I still want to send my compliments to Maya for being so helpful throughout this process. I appreciate your hard work and sacrificing some of your off-days to keep track of our order to make it up to our continuous delays. I'm sure you were as stressed as I was, and I'm so grateful for your dedication. Keep up with your good work!
I saw the negative reviews and completely disagree. My mom shopped here for years. I came in for a small futon all the way from LA. It was a pleasant and seedless effort. Maya was super awesome. She was nice, funny but not clingy. She let us browse and answered all the questions. She was a true professional and courteous at all steps.

We were looking for a new bedroom set and checked out several other showrooms before looking here. Most of the sets at the other showrooms had painted on wood finishes which easily scratched off with your fingernail. Our last stop was Scandinavian Designs. They were very low pressure and the quality is undeniable. We found exactly what we were looking for and it just happend to be on sale. BONUS!! We bought the set that was on the showroom floor and ordered a second night stand which showed up just a few days later. They disassembled the set, wrapped it for us and helped us load it in our truck. We love the quality and the service was great! We will definitely shop here first from now on.
DONT SHOP HERE!! We have bought over $25,000 worth of furniture from here since 2003. We recently moved and had no choice to unassembled the Bed Frame and China Cabinet. We called Scandinavian to have them reassemble the furniture. According to Maya she WILL NOT send anyone out to reassemble the furniture because the purchase was so long ago. So basically they won't stand behind what they sell. For furniture so expensive they should be standing behind everything they sell no matter how long ago the purchase was made. That's real BULLSHIT!! So save your money and buy elsewhere because if you ever need their help they WONT help you even though it's NOT a free service anyway!!

I didn't have high expectations due to some of the reviews but I fell in love with Scandinavian Designs the first time I stepped foot in here. They offer a great variety of quality mid-century style furniture and the prices are so reasonable especially when you compare them to West Elm. They also offer fast inexpensive delivery too. We bought a chaise lounge, a dining room table, and a casual couch that folds down to a bed. We paid for the items on a Saturday and they were delivered the following Thursday! 3 pieces of furniture, paid an $85 delivery fee to midtown. They charge per shipment not per piece and they bring it inside and set it up too, which some places charge more for calling it "white glove service." Such a great experience shopping here. I wish I had known about Scandinavian Designs prior to purchasing from West Elm. We bought an in-stock couch and chair from West Elm in August that took 8 - 10 weeks to deliver and paid nearly $400 for delivery and a a handling fee, whatever that means. I will definitely be back to buy my bedroom set here.
WARNING: They have beautiful high quality furniture here, ay so if you broke don't come here. I am amazed by the selection of furniture they have here. They sell very modern furniture, furniture with a Euro vibe. The stuff they have here is very aesthetic, easy on the eyes. Beautiful beautiful pieces of furniture. Couches, bed frames, dressers, ottomans, dining tables. They have chairs in all different colors. Just sitting and observing everything in the store, you can tell it is some top quality materials they use. This place is going to be a lot more expensive than your average furniture store. But you are getting a lot of high quality. O yea if you want a custom couch, which they offer, come here 3-4 months before you move in, because it takes 3-4 months to ship because they are based out of Denmark. And you know that's how you know this place is good, it's based out of Denmark. You want your furniture from a different country, because if it's made in America, come' on we know how lazy Americans are. This place is just wonderful. Take my money.
This is a very nice looking and comfortable sofa and a reasonable price.
6 months after buying it the quality and firmness have still held up. I have been sitting on it extensively everyday for 2 months while working from home during the covid lockdown and their hasn't been any indentation, sinkage or wrinkling. I'm very pleased with the quality.
The couch is so comfortable. I was very pleased with overall service: salesman was courteous and delivery was on time. I also bought 2 living room chairs and 4 dining room chairs.All are great!!

I wanted to love this couch. The look and quality are great. It’s lightweight and slim for my little apartment. I like the color, size and firmness of the cushions, but the sofa has a distinctive forward tilt that makes it uncomfortable to sit on for any amount of time. It feels like you are being pitched forward out of it. It’s very disappointing.
I’ve had this couch for almost a year now and continue to be very happy with it. I came to write a review now because I just had a cat barf incident and the couch was so easy to clean, leaving no stain or evidence! My cats aren’t couch scratchers, but they occasionally get a claw stuck on dismount and I never see a hole in the fabric. Overall, highly recommended for any household!

This couch is the best my boyfriend & I found after exploring basically every furniture store you can think of. It’s multifunctional; comfy to watch TV, but supportive enough for older relatives visiting or working on the computer. We also wanted something that had a higher back and seat that you didn’t have to climb out of, but still looked modern. This checked off every box (plus, our dog’s hair has magically not stuck to it at all). Delivery process was easy and went smooth, very good quality for a great sale price. Beautiful amazing comfy couch
I’m super picky when I’m comes to funirfure. But when I saw this sofa It def caught my eye and when I sat on it I was in love. It’s really comfortable and beautiful. The color is a lot better looking then in pictures. I got the lighter one. I would definitely recommend this sofa! It’s beautiful and comfortable and affordable all the at the same.

We purchased what I believed to be mid-level quality small sectional around 7 months ago. The Dalea. The material immediately started to pill and within two months looked to be 10+ years old. Friends could not believe how worn it was. I talked with our sales gal Hannah and she agreed to replace it with another couch of choice. Due to our size requirement we had few couches to choose from and we landed on theGianna leather sectional for an additional $1000.00. This couch is made in Italy which I felt was a plus and we got it on sale, another plus. The price is $3899 00. The first time I sat in it after delivery I literally grunted out loud😬. I love a firm couch, this couch gives firm a new meaning! It’s like sitting on a slab of stone and I’m not exaggerating. If you sit for a bit, it gets more comfortable but still a bit shocking initially. That’s the best news on this particular couch. When you sit for any period of time over five minutes, you literally have you butt imprinted in the couch. It does not go away on its own either. You need to move the leather like hand ironing it. The corners of the arms have gotten a bit better but still gathers and is not taunt with the shape of the outline. We have two beautiful leather chairs purchased from West Elm that still look and feel great after five years of wear and tear and sun exposure. We also have a leather couch from Macy’s that’s also older and in great shape. The furniture I’ve had the unpleasant experience of owning from Scandinavian Designs is the lowest quality ever. I cannot recommend SD to anyone ever! I thought I was purchasing quality goods from a quality provider and I was WRONG. The sales gal never called to ask about delivery, satisfaction, etc. I rarely write reviews and am not a complainer but this is bad, really, really bad. Buyer, BEWARE!
Very clever name because there is no inventory Made in Scandinavia or designed by a Scandinavian. Go to Danish Design as they have the real thing. It takes 3 months to make but you get it from the real deal. This is a Faux place. I bet most of there stuff is made in downtown LA or China. So whenever they say 'Crafted in the USA' the Federal Trade Commission says that components can be made elsewhere. I love Danish furniture but please look at the Petra chair which is classic to the minimalist look. Scandinavian Design is not authentic and the name misrepresents what is inside the store.
