Serta iComfort has been a favorite mattress of mattress big-box stores and traditional marketers for years. But is it worth the hype? This mattress combines both memory foam and mini innerspring coils.
Lebeda is an Iowa based mattress manufacturer and brand that is well-known for their innerspring, hybrid, and memory foam options. Their mattresses are very competitively priced and most folks find their Lebeda mattresses comfortable. There are some complaints about customer service and durability.
Based on our aggregated reviews and our scoring method, we recommend Lebeda in this match up!
There are some negative ratings from sleepers for these mattresses. Some sleepers are happy with the feel, but others have had issues. Due to this, one of these could be great for you, but it also may be a problem. Continue reading below to learn if one of these mattresses will work for you.
Based on the reviews, these mattresses have above average supportiveness, which is ideal when you're looking for a mattress to cradle your hips and shoulders. That said, some folks have had issues with the firmness and support levels overall, so take a look at some of the other reports from customers to make sure your choice is right for your body.
Edge support is how much resistance there is along the sides of the mattress. These mattresses over good support overall, but heavier folks may experience less than ideal edge support.
We all want a mattress that lasts 10 years or more, and when our mattress is instead something crummy that causes us pain after only a year, this is the worst. That said, it is much more difficult to find the right durable mattress nowadays. With more companies than ever, companies fighting for profit at the demise of quality. When it comes to these mattresses, some sleepers had issues with durability. It doesn't mean that durability issues will happen to you if you buy one of these, but make sure to read up on the warranty and return policies before buying.
Each of us need to read up on what customers are saying before we buy a product worth hundreds or thousands of dollars. That said, it's not always easy for shoppers to come up with takeaways after looking at many different mattress sites. Based on our investigation of customer sentiment and reviews, sleepers rate these mattresses above average. However, there are some complaints Make sure to look into the mattress specifics to learn if it will work for you.
Getting good support from your mattress is important to getting a good night's sleep. If you have a bed that doesn't support you, you likely aren't getting the kind of sleep that you need to be getting. All in all, these mattresses do offer good support at first, but some had issues with lasting comfort.
Most customers find these mattresses to have good edge support, which is good for those that like to sit on the side of the mattress. Those that have heavier frames may still find some discomfort while laying close to the side.
Mattresses don't provide as long-lived comfort as they used to. If you are looking for a mattress that will last over 15 years, it is hard thing to find. That said, finding a long-living and comfortable mattress can save you thousands. Sadly, these mattresses have mixed ratings when it comes to durability. Many customers don't report problems, but others have issues with lasting comfort over a shorter than average horizon.
Purchased an iComfort-Applause II King mattress and split box spring. It was ok for the first 6 months, then support degrades after that. I suffer from back pain so the i-Comfort Hybrid series in firm (Fundamental model) seemed like an ideal replacement for my 10-year-old inner spring Sealy mattress. Eventually you'll sink into a hole as the memory foam upper doesn't hold up. My partner and I now have a 'hill' down the middle of the mattress that limits your sleeping space to your own body cavity hole. I had Raymour & Flanigan's inspector come out used their measuring tools to come to the conclusion that the bed is not defective and is within the warranty allowances. Yet I continue to sleep in my confined hole and am now considering taking this POS to the dump and eating a good amount of money. I've filed a BBB complaint and Consumer Affairs report. Raymour & Flanigan is no help whatsoever! I do NOT recommend either R&F nor Serta. Very bad service. The inspection process was such a waste of time. I spent $1,650 on this set and it's barely a year old. Don't fall for the 100-day satisfaction sleep guarantee because 100 days is not nearly enough time to give a true assessment. I'll never buy another Serta Mattress since they obviously don't care to stand behind their claims that i-Comfort Series is 'revolutionary' and is worth the good money I paid for it. Don't fall for the Consumer Reports review that gave it a shining review. This experience has shown me that CR is no longer a good source for researching products before I purchase.View More Reviews
I developed an allergy to the I-Serta foam mattress 3 to 4 weeks after the mattress was delivered. The allergy started as a slight itch and has progressed to the point that I cannot sleep on the mattress. I am investigating zippered plastic covers to encase the I-Serta mattress to see if that helps. If the plastic cover does not work I will have thrown $1,800 down the drain. I am very disappointed with Serta.
Based on my experience the I-Serta foam mattress is not safe. There are ingredients in the foam that off-gas and are dangerous to your health and welfare.
(I swore if this mattress worked out I would write a review because online mattress reviews are so erratic.)
I did all the research and have experience with memory foam benefits, just never bought a foam mattress due to price. I settled on iSerta Savant II for comfort and price. I was concerned once I got it - that it would sleep hot (I sleep very warm) and not do much for joint pain.
It had very minor gas offing initially, but that was gone in 24 hours. The first couple nights I slept on it- it didn't feel as soft as in the store and my back was a little stiff - but my joint pain (hip) was gone and I did sleep cooler. I hung in there and purchased a Pinzon Plush Mattress Topper (Amazon) which added surface softness. After sleeping on it about 3 nights, the back stiffness was gone and I truly can report zero joint pain and a cooler sleep. I sleep noticeably cooler, not zero heat, but cooler. Slept terribly hot in my previous Sealy Oaks Reserve (8 years)) coil mattress. The iSerta mattress is soft, but supportive, like memory foam should be. I have no problems feeling like I am stuck in it and I LOVE the zero motion disturbance - doesn't feel like the mattress is moving around with you. I am a 65% side - 35% back sleeper, so if you are the same, you can feel safe considering this bed. Definitely not for stomach sleepers.
TempurPedic Cloud Lux felt even better, but was $1,700 more than iSerta and felt like a warm sleep even in the store. You really have to pay attention to your body's reaction when you test any mattress. You'd be wise to spend substantial time in the bed, even though it kinda feels awkward simulating your personal sleep positions for all the public to see - in a mattress showroom. (LOL). I have to say that my friends have had a TempurPedic for 11 years now and still love it for comfort, but report that it does sleep hot. They are not natural warm sleepers so that's OK for them.
I can't speak to longevity for this iSerta, but after a month - I am quite pleased and crossing my fingers that will be the case for many years. (I'm still scratching my head that this foam mattress sleeps cooler than my previous coil mattress, as coil mattresses are supposed to sleep cooler and that very fact deters people from buying foam...odd.)
So good luck with your mattress shopping and I hope you get the one that is right for you. For me, waking up with no joint pain (hip and shoulder) and sleeping cooler has been a Godsend. Nighty-night. 😴
Breaks down really fast. Junk save your money. Unless you don't like to sleep then buy one.
We purchased an iComfort mattress in September 2012, and it is already broken down. Much over the 3/4" allowed. We had a rep look at it as there is a fabulous 25 year warranty. Unfortunately, the Serta Company does not play well with customers. One of the two tags were missing, (not removed by us), and for that reason they will NOT cover the warranty. Funny fact.... that this mattress hasn't even been in existence for longer than their warranty. Makes me sick to my stomach that we have thrown away $1800 for a bed that we had just a little over 3 years. In my research, they also do not abide by their warranty if there is a stain, no matter the size. Truth be told, they will do anything to not cover your mattress under their "fabulous" 25 year warrant. Beware, and shop around unless you don't mind paying $40 per month to sleep on a mattress.
Bought my i-comfort matress for a whole lot of money and it didn't last 3 years, Serta didn't stand by its product and should be ashamed to lie to consumers and even hint at a 25 year warranty. They know VERY WELL there is no chance their product can last that long.
If you try and go through their warranty process BE WARNED. They will make you pay for an 'inspector' to come and evaluate your mattress. Unknown to you, the 'inspector' has one job "TO PROVE THAT YOU VOIDED THE WARRANTY SO SERTA DOES NOT PAY". They actually made me pay 40 bucks for a guy to come to my house and claim that my mattress was sinking because of a mark from a pen. Really a lot of nerve. I spoke to a former Serta employee and was even told that THE INSPECTORS MAKE BONUSES WHEN THEY VOID YOUR WARRANTY. Serta will tell you "well they are independent" but guess what? Serta doesn't let the CONSUMER pick the company. THEY PICK THE COMPANY. So they only pick inspection companies that agree to their deal, kick backs in return for blaming the consumer.
This thing will absolutely not last you. Look at other ratings of icomfort mattresses and you will see a pattern, it sinks after months and leaves you with terrible back pain.
Trust a local company and trust only two sided mattresses. Serta knows there is no way one side of a foam matress can last 25 years, even so they go cheap and only put memory foam on one side. Meaning uneven wear and a low quality product that won't last.
READ THE FINE PRINT of the warranty...you're going to see what I mean!
I look forward to laying down on this thing. It is very soft, but in just the right way. Seriously, sometimes when I'm just walking by I go touch it just because it makes me feel good. I can't attest to its durability (we've had it about a month), but it's very nearly been worth the thousand bucks we spent already (we got a heck of a deal here.)
This mattress is not cheap, but we shopped around and it compares favorably to the $3000 to $5000 mattresses at the over-priced mattress stores. Conversely, it is miles better than the bargain $500-$700 "memory foam" mattresses. To get that real, honest-to-blog memory foam experience, you do have to spend a bit of cash, and this mattress is the real thing without being ludicrously expensive (even if you pay full price.)
Now excuse me—I have to go roll around on my mattress for a few minutes before dinner.
I have slept on this for about nine months. The softest mattress I've owned, but a lot less back pain for my husband and I do sleep well. My only criticism is, despite design attempts to produce a cooler foam mattress, the I comfort sleeps warm so four not five stars. I am in Florida, not sure this would bother me in the Northeast. Also the foam is HEAVY. No way I can flip on my own. So if your a women who regularly flips mattress, bear in mind foam is a heavy choice. But you'll sleep.
Great mattress for the first 6 months, then support degrade after that. I suffer from back pain so the i-Comfort Hybrid series in firm (Fundamental model) seemed like an ideal replacement for my 10-year-old inner spring Sealy mattress. We owned the Serta Prodigy II iComfort mattress less than a year when it started developing holes that we were sleeping in. We were both waking up with back pain and I developed a hip problem which has now turned into some very bad sciatica. I can no longer sleep on it. We paid about $2100.00 for it at Godby Furniture. When we complained to them they had someone come out and look at it. It was determined to be defective and luckily we are getting a replacement. I'm so disappointed in this and now I'm afraid by getting a replacement it will do the same thing and then nothing will be done about it. We have had an iComfort before this one for about three years but never had an issue with it. Our son now has it and it's fine. I feel it's just this Prodigy model. Please Serta take note!
Wonderful mattress! Feels like I'm sleeping on a cloud. I would definitely recommend. 💯❤️🔥
After researching the market and CR reviews I decided on the Serta Savant III with Ease Adjustable Base. Memory Foam Showplace through amazon had the best selection and pricing for this combo. Ordering was easy, follow up was excellent, and delivery went smooth. The base and mattress arrived in separate packages and sere carefully loaded into my garage. The driver even helped get the heavy base box into the house. Set up was simple and the full bed turned out great. This is a comfortable bed with a soft feel yet provides firm support. I highly recommend Memory Foam Showplace and the Serta mattress and adjustable base combination.
It felt great when I tried it out in a store. I started getting lower back pain within a couple of days of use. It started to get very painful after about a week. I moved to another (firmer) mattress in my house at that point and the back pain cleared up. It came right back as soon as I moved back to the Serta Savant III Plush. The lower end sinks further than the upper end. The resulting slope puts a lot of strain on your lower back. The slope (and resulting back pain) gets significantly worse when my wife is also in the bed. I tried a few different positions and pillows that did reduce the pain, but not enough to prevent me from needing to buy a new mattress.
THIS SH*T IS UNDEFEATED. It keeps me cool and cozies while wrapped in pretzel legs with my wife. I'd say the only downside is any room this mattress isn't it is now useless. Pretty much go to work, come home, Bruce All Mighty myself out of my clothes and bounce on this cloud of joy and starfish all up on this bed made of 1,368 adorable puppies. Put on the mattress cover to keep it clean from the 67 hours a week you'll be on this warlock. It's basically fixed my irregular sleep, my restlessness, and practically gave me advice on opening a Roth IRA. They included two pillows that aren't nearly as nice as the mattress but they're nice to put between your knees while you dream about dreaming about walking up just so you can go back to bed. And that's not even the best part, folks. Every time someone comes over to your house they'll want to sit on it and demo that fluffy stuffed goodness. Like I said before, the living room is a ghost town. This mattress is perfect for dinner parties just as much as it is a magic carpet ride in the form of a memory foam that hugs you like your chubby aunt without the smell of smoke and Un-Custables.
Wish I would have seen these reviews before I purchased a $2,100 Serta iComfort memory foam mattress. What a POS. I cannot believe they sell this junk. Sleeping in a 'hole' cannot roll out. Sometimes I feel trapped. Please do not purchase this product!
We were so excited about our iComfort mattress when we first purchased it. It was so comfortable for the first few months and then, I began to notice I was waking up in the morning with severe low back pain. I didn't realize at the time how the mattress had actually broken down, and the indentation in the bed where I had been lying. I finally realized that as I was lying in bed, I was lying in a hole. I weigh all of 105 pounds. This mattress has continued to break down and deteriorate. The day I went back in to the mattress store to ask if there had been any complaints with this mattress was actually the 2 year anniversary of our purchase. I was informed that the mattress I had purchased had major problems that had been reported.
I have endured severe pain, pain management including epidural injections over the past months, and then I realized it was the mattress that we had purchased to help promote our good health, and a great night's sleep. Also, the pain has been so bad first thing in the morning, when I first wake up. Instead of feeling refreshed, I feel severe pain in my low back. I have photographs on and off of this mattress to prove the deterioration of this mattress.
The mattress is very comfortable and I wake up feeling refreshed. I would recommend this mattress to anyone. No backache or leg pain. I chose the firm mattress because of my back problems and believe me it helps. Are you needing a mattress that makes you feel refreshed and not waking up grumpy? Then go for it! You'll be glad you did.
We purchased a Serta iComfort mattress in March 2013. It is now sagging on both sides with a huge lump in the middle. My husband can no longer sleep in the bed as he wakes up in agony each morning from back ache and I now have back problems too. Never had a back problem before. Will see how we go with our local supplier - paid nearly $5000 for the ensemble so hope they honour the 10 year warranty. Will never buy a Serta again.
I've tried several brands over the years but Sealy has been truly consistent when it comes to a quality mattress. Always good support (I've got two crushed vertebrae in my back + a crooked spine). Love this brand. Quality made, doesn't fray or unravel. Will straighten out your back which will help with chiropractor bills. Recently strained my back lifting a heavy suitcase. I was a guest in a friend's house she had the worst mattress (she bought a $100 foam topper for it). The topper was OK for 2.5 months then it died - total waste of $$$. I then rented a hotel room with a very good mattress (Sealy of course). I was in agony & it took 12 days of sleeping on their mattress to finally feel better. HINT: Shoes can also cause back problems so pay attention to the soles & heels. Buy new shoes if necessary.
Miserable nights sleeping on this new mattress. I wake up with so much pain and feeling exhausted instead of rested. When using the adjustable head raising the mattress bunches up badly. After paying an inspector 50.00 after only 6 months usage he naturally reported nothing would be done as he didn't find anything wrong. He was in bedroom a total of 7 minutes. This is going to be costly for me as I am an 84 year old widow on a very fixed income. And no one at the mattress store cares about my problem.
I've had my iComfort adjustable bed for two years and over time I have become increasingly sick when I sleep on this bed. I have chemical sensitivities so I bought a cover for the mattress, which has helped. However, I found myself coughing throughout the night and waking with a sore throat and headache. The brain fog and fatigue are getting worse, so I started sleeping on a relatively new mattress (not memory foam) in my guest bedroom and even tried the twin mattress on my daybed. I have not had any problems with these health issues when I avoid the iComfort bed. It has taken some time before my health issues became severe enough that I could no longer blame it on "just my allergies". I will be getting rid of the bed and I paid a lot for it. BTW, I just don't use the adjustable feature, but I really don't spend a lot of time hanging out in my bed. I'm very disappointed in this bed. If you have allergies or chemical sensitivities, do not buy this product!
We were so excited to get this incredibly comfortable Simmons iComfort mattress only 3 years ago. It was all hype! Both my husband and I are currently suffering with back problems. As we stepped away from the bed when changing the sheets, we noticed how much it sagged and realized the indentions that remained. The warranty is based on the small number "Warranty Code" that is printed at the bottom of the "UNDER PENALTY OF LAW" tag that everyone tears off and throws away after they are sure they are going to keep a product! I will never purchase another Simmons product again! For this kind of money I could buy a new mattress every year for 3 years.
So i get i am likely writing this too early, but let me tell you this is literally the best mattress i have ever slept on. My boyfriend is feeling the same way. No kidding, this mattress is the perfect firm but with cradling comfort. I drooled for the first time since i can remember. I am going to have a love affair with this bed. Never got hot, never god sore and had to rotate to my other side or stomach. And woke up without a single ache! I am telling everyone about this stellar mattress!
Good mattress for the first year or so, then support degrade after that. I suffer from back pain. The i-Comfort seemed like an ideal replacement for my 10-year-old inner spring Sealy mattress. Eventually we put a topper on the mattress. Now we sink into a hole as the memory foam upper doesn't hold up. My wife and I now have a 'hill' down the middle of the mattress that limits your sleeping space to your own body cavity hole. Seems a waste of time for inspectors to come out from Serta since no one else has had success wit them. Yet I continue to sleep in my confined hole and am now considering taking this POS to the dump and eating a good amount of money. We spent over $2,000 on this set and it's barely 5 years old. Don't fall for the 100-day satisfaction sleep guarantee because 100 days is not nearly enough time to give a true assessment. This is absolutely the worse mattress I’ve ever tried to sleep on.Only had it a few months and it’s killing me ,toss and turn all night and can’t get comfortable. Its pretty bad when you can sleep on a motel mattress but can’t sleep on your own. I get up sore and feel like I’ve been fighting all night,lm looking at other mattresses but don’t know what to buy ,I don’t think any of them are any good and you pay a big price for them.Im really disguised!
I was looking for a mattress. I went to 2 mattress stores. The prices were high and the salesperson was rude. I went to Lebeda just to check it out. I thought the prices would out of my price range, but I was mistaking. Taylor was awesome. He listened to my specifications and price range, and suggested a few mattresses. He was very patient as I tried the mattresses. No pressure at all. I purchased a mattress and my brother did too. It is being delivered Thursday. Besides the prices, the product is made locally in Marion Iowa. The mattress is made the day before it is delivered. I would highly recommend it. Taylor is the best!View More Reviews
Lebeda is a factory direct retail store with their product being made in state. The prices are very competitive! And the quality is fantastic!! The furniture here is a bit pricy but it's super high quality!! Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable without being pushy. He was wonderful! The showroom is well laid out with plenty of room to move and test out mattresses! They have great sales. And great every day prices!! I will be back to get a mattress closer to time of buying a bed frame. Which we may be getting that from here.
Had to replace the mattress after 1 year. I don't recommend.
I had to deal with a nasty manager at one of the stores so I bought my bed elsewhere.
I had a great experience with the staff at Lebeda. They were some of the friendliest staff and extremely honest to deal with. The mattress is also quite comfortable. Great job!
Great customer service from the moment I walked in the door until the bed was delivered and set up. Fair pricing. On-time delivery and set up.
very nice helpful and easy to talk to. was extremely polite about everything on the floor. Thank you Travis Westfall. Springfield Illinois
Yesterday was my 3rd mattress purchase from Lebeda in Marion. When the bed is delivered, we always have a break down in communiction about what was discussed at the store and what shows on the delivery slip. Last time it was regarding the frame. This time it was regarding hauling the old bed away. Normally this would be frustrating, but Lebeda's delivery guys (Darnell and Mike) are awesome. They always make it right, always on time, super nice and work quickly and effice...ntly. Mike actually helped make the bed in the factory the day before, delivered it and set it up for us. Darnell is a machine. These mattresses must weigh 200 lbs, and he picks it up and carries it by himself like it weighs nothing. Incredible! It goes without saying that these mattresses are the best, but the people representing your company make your business GREAT! Thank you gentlemen for being the best part of Lebeda.
I appreciate how knowledgeable the staff at Lebeda is about their product. Clint spent as much time with me as I needed in making my mattress set purchase. I am a repeat customer. I had a great shopping experience and I highly recommend both the people and product at Lebeda!
We just ordered our mattress today and we are super excited for Wednesday to get here so we can pick it up. Wesley, Ames store, was so helpful and patient while answering our many many questions. I can't wait to edit my post to rave about the comfort of our new bed.
We found Brian very helpful in telling us about the differences in mattresses. We relaxed on six different mattresses, agreed on the one we both liked and were on our way home in an hours time. We appreciate a salesman who is knowledgeable but doesn't high pressure you into making a quick decision.
Buying a mattress is not an everyday thing, however it is something you use everyday. It's a big decision. The bed we purchased is outstanding. It is exactly what we were looking for in terms of size, support, etc. The service is what really stands out far beyond expectation. Scott Huffman gave us the time of day, educated us about different products, and more than helpful. You will not find this type of service or convenience online.
Brook was very helpful in helping me decide on the type of mattress that was right for me. I missed my delivery guys and Laman delivered it to me after store hours the same day and sat it up for me. Awesome customer service. Thank you both!
My experience purchasing my mattress at Lebeda was wonderful! Clint was very helpful and patient with all the questions I had. I love my new mattress. The delivery was also incredibly fast. Great mattress for a great price. Would definitely recommend.
Good experience with Lebeda. We’ve purchased three mattress sets from them. Very good product.
My husband and I were both having back and hip pain. After visiting every mattress store in Dubuque and two furniture stores, we found exactly what we needed at Lebeda. Aden was helpful but never pushy and gave us a great deal plus a military discount! This was the only store that had a platform bed with a real platform, not just a piece of flimsy plywood or wooden slats. It has great support for the flippable mattresses we purchased. They also have sturdy handles on all sides for easy flipping. Even the sheets sold here are top quality at a very reasonable price. We are very happy with our new beds, the price we paid and our aches and pains are getting much better. Top quality at very reasonable prices. You won't be sorry if you shop here! The delivery people were very friendly and professional as well.
Tayler was super helpful and knowledgeable! She made it a breeze to pick out 4 new mattresses for our home! (2 twins for our kids, a queen and king) Thanks for a enjoyable and speedy experience! A+
We just ordered our first mattress from Lebeda today. It’s a no brainer. We had our list of places to compare with Lebeda. Well, after our perfect personal treatment from Clint at the Coralville show room we decided not to look further. Clint was very attentive to our requests. He listened and carefully considered our requests for a mattress. We had a price point. He didn’t pressure us. He gave us plenty of time to test different options. We are impressed! The set is being built on Monday in Marion and to be delivered here in Iowa City on Tuesday. Talk about local shopping being the best! Thank you, Lebeda!
Very nice and helpful place. Quick turn around time for delivery. Definitely would go back.
I can not say enough good things about store manager, Brian Herrick! He is so knowledgeable and helpful. I really didn’t expect to buy a mattress today as I had just started looking. After Brian helped with all of my concerns, how could I not!?!? I love buying local and Lebeda has always had such a good reputation! Highly recommend!
Purchased an antique bed. Went to Lebeda in Davenport and was helped by Brian who went above and beyond to help me get what I needed. He was a very pleasant and knowledgeable person to deal with. I really appreciated his customer service. Will not hesitate to go back when I'm in need of their products in the future.
We just purchased our first mattress from Lebeda in Moline and were very pleased with the whole experience. My husband has been ill and tires easily so we didn't want to spend time going from store to store. I'm so glad we went to Lebeda first! Laura was very knowledgeable and helpful, and not at all pushy. We found exactly what we were looking for, at a price that was well within our budget. Plus it was in stock! No waiting around for a delivery! We would definitely recommend Lebeda to anyone in the market for new bedding.
I bought my bed from Lebeda about 10 years ago now, and it is still going strong! We recently stayed in a hotel and it reminded us how much we love our bed! Our kids are almost ready for “real” beds and we will definitely be back to Lebeda to purchase them! Along with the quality, I love the dedication to staying American made! It is hard to find companies dedicated enough to staying local these days, I’m glad I don’t have to worry about that when bed shopping at Lebeda!
Angie was beyond helpful in helping me pick out my new mattress/boxspring! I was on a tighter budget and was still able to get an amazing mattress, boxspring, bed frame, mattress protector, two fancy pillows with protectors, and cheap delivery! Overall, I saved about $500 total after everything! They have quality items at affordable prices and really help you without being too salesman-like! I love Lebeda and will always choose and recommend them for any mattress needs!
We had purchased a mattress for our son years ago and it has held up well. We are return customers.
Lamon was an amazing salesman and manager! Helped me pick the perfect matress and made the experience great!
I went to all three mattress stores on Duff Ave in Ames, explaining that I was looking for two twin beds for my 2.5 and 4.5 year old. The salespeople at the first two stores were pleasant, but they only showed me the cheapest twin beds, likely assuming that is all I'd want for small children, and not giving any guidance on mattress recommendations for children (firm? plush? quality?); I had to specifically inquire if I could get a twin size in some of the higher quality, non...-twin floor models. My last stop was Lebeda, where as soon as I mentioned that I was looking for a twin bed for children, the salesperson provided prompt feedback about recommended firmness level for that age. He also mentioned the ability to add edge supports to the mattress, explaining that when adults lie in a twin bed with a child for story time or getting them to sleep, the adult may tend to fall off the side (especially since twin size is narrow) and this can be prevented with edge supports. The longevity of the mattresses will be determined over the next few years, but I was pleased with the sales experience itself!
Poor Customer Service, discriminatory service. They don't take away your old bedding if you live in a apartment or nursing home. Disabled people can't move their own bedding and haul it away, they don't tell you they won't haul away your old bedding until after the sale do not ever buy from this awful place!!! They did not tell me that they would take the old bed outside for me, and never gave the reason why the wouldn't take the old bedding. You people lost my sale and time I'm telling everyone I know about you people you will lose plenty other sales. By The way Nursing homes are not going to a regular mattress place to buy their mattresses.
Well, I can't say enough about the quality of a Lebeda mattress. The first mattress I bought was in the mid 1980's for $1000. It was a Legacy 2001 mattress. I have slept on this mattress and rotated it for 30 plus years and have now bought my second Legacy mattress for a fraction more than the original. This mattress is still in good condition but I'm retiring now and want a new one for the rest of my life while I still have a job and can afford the best mattress there is. The quality of sleep is what you will dream about and that's "NO FAKE NEWS". Thank you Brian for all the help in Davenport Iowa.
We purchased our mattress set in the Ames store. We found the sale people to be very friendly and knowledgeable and offered recommendations as to which mattress we should purchase for the back problems that we have. We were however informed the sale had ended the day before our purchase when in fact we are still seeing the sale advertised on TV. We are very happy with the quality of the mattress and the support we get. Would definitely recommend a Lebeda mattress to anyone wishing to purchase.
I just purchased my 5th mattress set from Lebeda today. I love the sales staff--very helpful and informative without being pushy or pressuring me. Delivery is always smooth and effortless. The beds are of phenomenal quality and the comfort is second to none. I'm also happy that I am supporting a locally owned small business. I highly recommend purchasing from Lebeda!
Went with my sister to help her pick out a mattress at the Ames Lebeda and had an awesome experience! Laman was very helpful and didn’t try to sell us the most expensive bed in the store instead he took the time to explain the differences in the mattresses and make sure we get exactly what we wanted!
Our son goes to ISU and we bought him a mattress for his apartment and was very happy with the product and knowledge of the manager at the Ames store. A year later my husband and I bought a mattress set and had the same great service. No high pressure sales, great product with great warranty!
Do not buy Augusta Plush 2. Seemed ok in showroom but hard as a rock at home.
Helpful, professional, friendly service - also enjoy the bed 😁 Thank you Clint, Darrel, and Mike!
I purchased a king size bed this morning and told Todd i needed it right away. He had the guys make it and delivery for today. What great service from him and Donna. I can't say enough about them in the Lebeda store in Marion . Will be sending people that are shopping for a bed set to you. Again kudo's to you both for everything.
Nice store & great staff! Laman at the Ames store was awesome to work with. We have purchased beds from Lebeda before and know that it is also excellent quality.
The Lebeda in Cedar Falls, Iowa is amazing. The woman that worked there was very knowledgeable about her mattresses and recommended the most perfect mattress for us. I will not go anywhere else when we need a new mattress. Very affordable and the very best customer service!
We ordered a new mattress for a guest room and it could not have been an easier or faster process! Clint was very helpful and friendly. I would definitely refer people to the store.
Had a great purchase experience with Jake at the Q Street store in Omaha. He really took the time to help us make the best mattress selection for our needs. We've been sleeping on the new mattress for a couple of months now and a lot of the morning aches and pains are gone. I highly recommend Lebeda and the Omaha Q Street store.
