Spring 2024 Updates: Aireloom mattresses are available through retailers like Bloomingdales and Macy's, and include their newer Pacific Palisades line. Recent customers have reported sagging and firmness issues in some cases.

Aireloom is a brand of California based E.S. Kluft & Company that is sold exclusively in mattress retailers across the US. Its claim to fame is their patented 'Aireloom lift' that increases loft when one is laying on the mattress. This gives the sense that the bed is cradling you. However, there are common complaints about durability in some models with some claiming sagging issues. Additionally, price is a potential issue with the brand as their prices are much higher than other competitors.

Aireloom's Specifics

Airelom's legacy of hand-crafted mattresses with generous layers of luxury materials have kept sleepers intrigued by their mattresses. Over the years, they have sold their mattresses through major retailers like Bloomingdales and have received good initial comfort reports from customers. However, there have also been significant complaints about issues with sagging and durability.

If you are looking for something similar to an Aireloom but are concerned about the durability and price value of the mattresses, take a look at our top rated mattresses and specifically, the Dreamcloud mattresses, which have a luxury, pillowy feel.

Quality of Materials

Aireloom brand makes exclusively handmade hybrid mattresses. Their mattresses are made of a blend of foam and latex on the upper part of the mattress, followed by natural materials, and coils. They also provide a foundation. Their mattresses are made with high quality materials, including pocket coils, memory foams, and latex. It is important to note that even those folks that had described issues don't often complain about the quality of materials, but mostly describe disagreements with the feel and durability concerns. We believe based on our research, that Aireloom does indeed provide high quality materials in its mattresses, but that those with complaints take issue with the shifting of materials, which is more common in hand-tufted mattresses.

Mattress Types

Aireloom has 6 different lines of mattresses. We'll go in depth on each one of them. You may also see some legacy brands on the market. These may be similar in materials to the following collections.

Karpen Natural

The Karpen Natural collection offers six mattresses, each featuring TerraPur™ natural latex comfort layers. Their offerings range from a softer feel with wool and alpaca or cashmere cushioning for extra pressure relief, to firmer offerings that focus more on the benefits of ultra-responsive dense latex. Some also contain foam in the surface layers.

Materials
- Belgian Jacquard Demask fabric with SeaCell™
- Natural fibers (such as wool or cashmere), foam, and/or cotton tricot
- Plush TerraPur™ Natural Latex
- Support-flex™ tempered 15 gauge individually wrapped coils

The pros: Latex focus mattress with luxury comfort components.

The cons: Some disagreements about durability and compression for some sleepers. Price value may be a concern for some shoppers.

Price Range: $3999-$7999+

Final Score: 7.5 / 10

Karpen Luxury

The Karpen Luxury Collection consists of 5 mattresses inspired by the glamour of Hollywood. The main comfort for these mattresses include Talalay latex and micro coils that provide zoned support. The quilted top features silk, wool, and cashmere fibers combined with foam to provide their signature Aireloom Lift™.

Materials
- Plush HD foam
- Talalay latex layer
- Zoned micro coils

The pros of these mattresses are the inclusion of layers of responsive latex material in multiple firmness options.

The cons: High prices for memory foams that competitive brands often sell for much less.

Price Range: $2599-$7699+

Final Score: 6.9 / 10

Preferred

The Preferred Collection has had a recent upgrade with two different design options available in multiple firmness choices -- the Luxetop™ and Streamline™. The Luxetop version comes with microcoils and a luxury firm or multiple upgraded plush options. The Streamline offers an extra firm, firm, luxury firm, or plush profile with Aireluxe™ foam and slow recovery visco foam or TerraPur™ latex.

The cons are the overall price tag tends to be higher than many competitive options available.

Price Range: $2675-$6399+

Final Score: 8.2 / 10

Pacific Palisades

The Aireloom Pacific Palisades collection offers 4 mattress options: the Sabal, Coronata, Phoenix, and Armata. These range from extra-firm to plush with a euro-top, and come with Tencel™ covers, cooling CopperGel&trade foam, and a high density foam encasement for increased edge support. These mattresses offer a lower introductory price without many frills, but with the same handcrafted techniques used in other Aireloom mattresses.

Materials
- Tencel™ cover
- Silk/wool quilting
- Memory foam and 'Aireluxe' foams

The pros of these beds are that they are more streamlined, affordable, and balanced.

The cons are that some may still experience durability issues in some cases.

Price Range: $1999-$2799+

Final Score: 7.8/10

Aspire Hybrid

The Aireloom Aspire Hybrid collection is their minimalist line of mattresses. Although higher priced that competitive options, these are among the most affordable mattresses made by Aireloom. Available in firm and plush options, these mattresses feature Luma SilverTech™ cooling memory foam and a high density encased perimeter for edge support.

Materials

Disappointment For Sure

I have had my Rip Van Winkle Natural Dreams with Luxury Cashmere King bed for 12 years. Many could say that is a long life span however I would like to provide long term customer experience details. Extreme sagging from year 1. Called Sealy's where purchased and they came out and said natural use. Ridiculous. Offered me store credit of $1000 on a $5000 King Mattress.

2. This mattress is so darn heavy that it would take 3-4 strong adults to move it (I've moved 4 times in 12 years...everyone says it's the heaviest mattress to move)

3. After point 2 was made, can you imagine flipping and rotating this bed on your own? It takes 2 adults and still is ridiculous.

4. In addition to sagging it forms to your body so to speak so after 3 years it has looked like a body shape of a 200 lb woman and hump in the middle and a less dented body shape of a 160lb man. This causes lots of cumbersome rotating & flippingwhich is very difficult.

5. I've reached my life span of a $5000 (price paid on sale) mattress with a 25 year warranty after 12 years.

6. I'm currently mattress shopping and can buy a new Sealy for 1/3 of the price and not care if lasts 5-7 years.

Sagging Mattress

Bought a aireloom mattress 6 months ago from sit and sleep. Worst mattress I have ever owned. Sags so bad that I wake up with a backache every morning. Sis and sleep well not do a thing about it

BEST EVER - IMMEDIATE PAIN RELIEF - TOTAL COMFORT

My husband and I have never been so cozy comfortable. We have the split king with adjustable base.

I immediately was relieved from hip pain that I had from a fairly new Temperpedic mattress.

The only complaint we have is: WE DON'T WANT TO GET OUT OF BED IN THE MORNING.

aireloom mattress

We purchased our Aireloom Chantille Ultra Plush Euro Top Eastern King mattress from Mancini's in Mountain View, CA., Nov. 2012. What had sold us on spending $8101.00 on a mattress was that when we tested it in the showroom we did not feel the movement of our partner. For us, who are light sleepers, this is a major deal. Our body was supported and it was very comfortable. A bit too high for us, so we exchanged the tall box spring for one that was several inches shorter.
We received that mattress and straight away there was a problem. Not Mancini's problem, we would need to contact an independent inspector (Premier Inspection Services,LTD.), at our expense, to analyze the mattress and make a recommendation. He did, and basically said that the problem was in our head.
Here it is 2016 and the mattress still does not live up to the mattress that we tested in the showroom. The shape is trapezoidal, and we feel every movement that our partner makes. Rolling over, change in position, sneezing and coughing are all felt by the other.
We feel gypped and misled. How could we have been so stupid. We could have purchased a cheaper mattress and changed it out when it no longer was comfortable.

This is the best ever

We initially bought a tempurpedic based on many recommendations. 30 days later and my back was an absolute mess. I could hardly move and I was at the chiropractor 6 times in 30 days. The chemical smell was horrible and I was sweating my butt off. My wife could not bear to sleep in it. I even had my kids jump on it to try to 'break it in'.

So, we went back to the store and the sales person was very helpful in assisting with the problems that we were having. My wife stumbled across the Aireloom mattresses and suggested I try it out. I fell in love with the support and comfort immediately. The price kind of scared me initially, but with 30 days of hell behind me, I was up for anything. I like the fact that there are many 'real' materials in this mattress and it is not a cookie cutter mattress made out of chemicals. The delivered the mattress promptly and our first night was heaven. Support, cool and comfort. We noticed immediately that when the two of us were in the middle of the bed, there was considerable sag to the mattress. I was kind of perplexed by this until I was on the floor playing with our dog and my wife and kids were horsing around in the bed. I noticed that there was significant flex in the box spring support slats when they were rolling around on the bed. Being an amish bed frame, the box is supported by 3/4 inch oak slats that run from side to side. I made up support blocks positioned under the slats in the middle of the bed and the problem was rectified. This bed is as comfortable today as it was the day we bought it.

sagging mattress

This is so interesting....A couple of years ago, my mom gave me her brand new, Aireloom Hybrid Bamboo mattress as she decided to purchased a different size (mine is a queen). I live in an older building, and there is a place in my bedroom floor where it's uneven, so when I started to feel like I had to roll uphill to turn over in bed, I figured it was the floor, not the mattress; however, my handyman used his balance to show me that the floor underneath my bed is indeed level, which was so baffling to me, as I feel as though I am sleeping in a ditch when I am on my side of the bed.

I have a solid platform bed, with storage drawers, so it can't be chalked up to an unsteady base or bed frame. I stumbled upon this site accidentally this evening, while researching mattresses, and am now 100% convinced that my mattress is to blame, and I am not crazy.
Not only that, but the mattress weighs about a million pounds, and sits inside the platform, so that changing the fitted sheet is akin to a strenuous gym workout. Just lifting the mattress is ridiculous. Once, while lifting the corner, I felt the fabric tear, on the underside of the mattress.

My mom kept telling me how expensive the mattress was, that it was a really good mattress. I can't lie; it's super cushy and comfortable, but the sagging is beyond annoying. I have propped it up under one side with books/magazines to even it out, but I can promise you I won't be spending my own money on an aireloom, when I am ready to replace this one.

Uncomfortable From Day 1

When we tried this bed in the store my husband felt very comfortable as soon as he laid on it. I felt like it was a little firm, but thought I could get use to it. From the first night it has been a nightmare for both of us. We are exhausted! My back, shoulders, hips ache. It has gotten so bad after two weeks I have gone to the spare bedroom. My husband is not sleeping well and it feels like only after two weeks there is already a body impression on his side of the bed. He feels that the bed sleeps hot. I have not noticed that yet. Very disappointed overall.

Saggin bed

Do not even think of buying an airloom bed. We bought one from Macys in Oceanside. It began to sag within about a month or two.
Made the mistake of waiting too long to call the company. You have 90 days. After that, they came out and agreed that it sagged , but since it wasn't over an inch and a half they would not take it back. Actually the bed sagged an inch and the box spring sagged another 1/2 inch which equals the 1 1/2 inches but since the box spring was involved they would not take it back. Macy's refused to help. We sold the bed less than a year later with over a $3000.00 loss.
My advice is do not get involved with Airloom.

Failure to honor warranty

I purchased an Aireloom Mattress. The store that I bought it from no longer carries Aireloom. The inspector from the independent inspection company determined that the mattress failed. Originally, Linda Menzel from Aireloom wanted me to spend about $1420 to ship the mattress to California from New Jersey and back. When I pointed out that they had a plant in PA, Ms. Menzel stated that it would cost $620 to ship the mattress to and from PA.

When I accepted their offer to ship the mattress to PA, Aireloom wanted me to sign an agreement not to disparage as well as waive any future legal rights. After questioning Ms. Menzel, she stated that even if the mattress were defective when it was returned to me, I could not sue Aireloom. By adding the requirement of not to disparage and to waive all future rights, they violated the terms of their warranty and thus defrauded me.

In my opinion, Aireloom is a terrible company to deal with because they do not honor their warranty. If they did this to me, do you think they will treat you any differently?

Sagging, heat retention

I bought an aireloom mattress from OC mattress in Costa Mesa CA. Was told when I bought this that there was no memory foam, but alas this was untrue. After purchase I noticed heat retention and complained to the store and manufacturer. Found out that it contained 7% memory foam. After several months have noticed sagging and 'holes.'' Paid lots of money and disappointed. Would not recommend.

Sagging mattress

If you're researching a new mattress please read the above reviews and DO NOT buy an Aireloom product. Like the others above have written within weeks my wife and I found our new mattress to be forming deep depressions. We called Aireloom and they sent an inspector and the results were that the 'holes' were within expected body depressions. That's the last Aireloom I'll ever buy. Absolute junk.

Wanted to love you....

3 years ago my husband and I made the trek out to our local mattress retailer. We were buying two mattresses - one for personal use and the other for a duplex for our parents. Decided on two Sertas when at the last moment.....I spotted the Aireloom. I had to test it and I fell in love. It was the most comfortable bed I had ever tried! But alas, the honeymoon period ended and we were left with a mattress that had some serious sagging issues after only 3 years. Some might say that is a good life for a mattress but I have to point out the only two other mattresses we have purchased for personal use lasted at least 10 years each and with no sagging. We only replaced them because we wanted to try newer models. Aireloom - I wanted to love you! Love you for being handmade, being the cushiest bed on the showroom floor, for being the sexiest in looks and for being handmade in CA. Sorry but I can love you no more. Moving on to a new lover.

Poor value for price- sagging after 5 years

I wish I had ready reviews like these before spending over $3000 on our Aireloom in 2012. We expected this mattress to last 20-25 years. When we first got the mattress I couldn't have been more satisfied. It was firm, supportive and so good for my bad back recovering from surgery. Within a few months I noticed I was making a sag in the bed. I tried moving around in the bed more and that helped for a while but now my husband and I are so miserable sleeping in this bed that we can't wait to replace it. We have flipped it end to end but I'd rather return to an old fashioned innerspring mattress that I can flip over. It just makes sense that with more sleeping surface the mattress will last longer. I will for sure NEVER spend $3K on a mattress again.

Very good mattress

I have had a real problem with sciatica over the last couple of years. While this mattress has not prevented it, better body pressure distribution seems to have really helped. I don’t wake up in the AM tired and feeling achey.

Great mattress

Macy's was a pleasure to work with throughout and the mattress has been very comfortable so far.

Hip pain gone

We had been looking for a new mattress for over 2 years, and finally landed on the Airloom Hybrid. Already on the first night, I noticed when I woke up in the middle of the night, my hip and shoulder pain I would typically feel before I rolled to the other side was gone! This mattress really takes the pressure off.

Very disappointed in new mattress

I took my time to find the right bed for my needs and really liked the Aireloom Hybrid. When I returned to buy it, my salesperson was tied up with another customer so that allowed me a good half hour to lie on the bed to make sure it was the one for me. Within 2 weeks of owning the mattress I noticed it wasn't springing back into shape. I've only owned it a month now and it has such deep depressions from my body (and I'm only 5' tall and 115 lbs!) that it feels almost as uncomfortable as my old mattress and is hurting my back. I've informed the salesperson I worked with that I'll be returning this one and hoping she can find something that will work as well as I hoped the Aireloom would. Highly disappointed.

Luxury Plush

Tried this bed 3 times at Macy’s laid on it , sales women was great she recommended this bed I looked at a few in mac

Love this mattress!!!!

We tried 3 different mattresses in 3 months before picking this one. The others were either too firm or too soft, but this one was absolutely perfect. Plush, but with the right amount of support. Finally getting the best nights sleep. Waking up feeling rested, and not sore. If you are picky about your mattress, this is the one to try....you wont regret it.

SOOOO Comfortable!

Love this mattress, so comfortable, soft, best sleep in a long time.

Plush is the word !

Shopping for a new mattress had turned into a nightmare, between pop up stores and online beds in a box/bag I'd given up. Then I thought Macy's that were my parents would go. Our salesman was great listened to our needs and pointed us to several options, gave us the time we needed to decide. Delivery and set up was a breeze. Great mattress! ! Love it.

great mattress

Very comfortable, conforms to body for a comfortable night sleep. I have spinal problems and this has been a big help. It lets me toss and turn with no problems. I tried many mattress' in the store, and this one worked. The salesman was wonderful it took us 2 hours and many jumping from mattress to mattress, his patience was above and beyond.

The Best Sales Staff Around

My purchase could not have been accomplished without the help of the OUTSTANDING Members of the Macy's team in San Francisco at Union Square. Their care and attention to my unique needs and wishes got this very important purchase accomplished. Lili Spagnoletta helped me this time and with my previous mattress over 15 years ago. For this purchase she got her Customer Service Manager Lori to help secure financing options. They Really Care!

So comfortable!

We tested out this bed in the store and it was, by far, the most comfortable! We tried at least a dozen beds that were 5X the cost and this one was the best. The delivery was seamless and we can't wait to sleep on this tonight!

Very comfortable mattress!

Took a couple of days to get use too, since I was sleeping on a mattress over 20 years old. Now I love it, and would definitely recommend it. Also had great delivery service on a very hot day!

Great Mattress!!

It's firm and yet soft. Very comfortable! Great Buy!

Aireloom Sabrina firm king mattress

It’s been exactly one year since purchase. Have called for questionablydefect internally. Mattress sags on one side causing excessive backache for me yet other side is firm. My weight 215 lbs. we purchased for a it being firm and king size. Compared to a foam inner coil mattress purchased in 2003, now 2019, this mattress is better built and low indentation of body points on bed. For the Airloom, I have to wake up completely to turn over. Yet when testing was done on Airloom, it was visually different between side and what measurement that was taken only involved a string pulled taught across mattress and a card with lines drawn to distinguish body indentation. There wasn’t any weighted pressure on points where indents were to measure any foam or spring collapse. I have now received letter from company I purchased from saying it meets standards under warranty. I’m doing a follow up for better practices to measure internal, not visual, of mattress. Over $4000 spent with less than 1 year of use. My queen foam/coil mattress after 16 years outperforms the Airloom and my back doesn’t hurt.

worst customer service

I have owned my Aireloom mattress for about 11 years. I called and emailed customer service and never received an answer. After 3 weeks of trying, I finally reached someone who was extremely rude. I weigh 110 pounds and the indentation of my body is so deep that I can't move at night. When I asked if they have any kind of warranty they said they can't guaranty anything, without asking what the problem is. I would not suggest purchasing this procuct

$5000 Mistake - worst mattress I have ever experienced and even worse customer service

I really wanted to love my AIRLOOM CORONADO mattress. I wanted to support the local California business and own a handcrafted bed. But what happened is that I wasted $5000 and now have a giant piece of trash in my bedroom that I have to dispose of. After only 4 months, I noticed the mattress was starting to sag but I didn't despair because the mattress has a warranty. But this is just a scam because it took multiple phone calls and emails to get Airloom to send out a mattress inspector. This inspector makes all the movements of performing an inspection, taking measurements and photos. But, in the end, Airloom does nothing. Like other unfortunate customers, I will be returning to the mattress store to purchase something with a better reputation.

Lower Back Pain

It's disappointing how the quality of this mattress doesn't match its price. This mattress sags and has given my husband and I lower back problems. I didn't realize how the bed was causing my lower back problems until I had to travel for work a few weeks ago and the very first night back, my lower back pain started again. We've also attempted to rule out other problems (sleep with pillow support between knees when sleeping on the side, sleep without a pillow when sleeping on back, put a small pillow underneath knees when sleeping on back) to no avail. My husband and I have gone to chiropractors for alignments, yet the lower back problems persist; we've concluded that the issue is the bed and have already ordered a new mattress from another provider. Good riddance!

Laguna

Worst mattress ever for the money. The tufted buttons make it very uncomfortable.

High cost with increased back pain

Bought this very expensive mattress, first year I slept with no back pain of which I have a chronic back issue.past two years they have been out twice...1.5 inch dips which I am told on a $4000 bed is acceptable..acceptable to who.. severe back pain with no choices now. Very disappointed...

Nightmare Mattress

I went to the store to purchase the Serta Fusion Hybrid, the salesman recommended this mattress. It was a few hundred dollars more than the Serta so that convinced me it was better. The worst mattress ever, it slumps and does not bounce back when you get out of bed. In the mornings I feel like someone took a bat to me over night. It was so horrible I had to move into my guest room because Macy’s was closed due to the pandemic. I was happy when I was able to return this terrible mattress. I would never recommend it.

Comfortable Hybrid!

Unlike the last mattress I bought, this hybrid is really comfortable. It’s a very nice quality with a long term potential. It’s been exactly a month since it was delivered and I have no complaints. The adjustable base was a great bonus add on. I am very happy.

Love it!

Love this!!! It is so comfortable! The plush is the perfect balance of firmness and softness for comfort and support!

Very comfortable

It's always hard buying a new matress. This one was comfortable right away. It only took a week to get used to. It is not that thick so your not wrestling with sheets, and it's easy to rotate, and you don't need a step stool to get into bed. It is a bit expensive so I hope it lasts longer than the 7 years my sterns and foster.

Very nice mattress

My husband is an Iron worker and he has a lot of back pain so when he tried this mattress he woke up feeling great, the only think he says that is a little t soft which it was firmer but a really nice mattress.

Very Plush!

I have really enjoyed this mattress! It’s the best nights sleep that i have had in years. The mattress is plush, and it not too soft or too hard. It is just right!!! I look forward to getting kin the bed now!

Best mattress in 28 years!

My husband and I have bought 4 mattresses in the course of our marriage. This is the best one we have ever bought. We have had issues with hip and back pain, but we have no issues with any more sleeping with this mattress. We did buy the higher boxspring, which is slightly high for us ( I’m 5’6”) The delivery men were excellent! They were on time and took our old mattress away. They set up our mattress and were done in 20 minutes. Would definitely use Macy’s again!

Very good mattress

I have had a real problem with sciatica over the last couple of years. While this mattress has not prevented it, better body pressure distribution seems to have really helped. I don’t wake up in the AM tired and feeling achey.

I work in Physical Therapy - HIGHLY RECOMMEND

This bed is absolutely amazing. First, the quality is unmatched. Take a look at the box spring in the store and compare it to any other in the store. Second the comfort is unmatched. It is a gentle, soft bed that offers unbelievable support. There is a misnomer that 'firmer is better', but that isn't true. I work in Physical Therapy and would recommend this to EVERYONE I KNOW. Give it a shot.

Great mattress

Macy's was a pleasure to work with throughout and the mattress has been very comfortable so far.

If you enjoy spending $6000 for a bed that only lasts one year, this one is for you.

Like many people looking for a bed, I was prepared to make a long term investment in my sleep. I had read good things about Airloom as a company online, how they took great pride in their products, and offered an excellent warranty. It was more than I wanted to spend, but did so figuring it would last me at least a decade. I am a 5'2 woman and weigh 105 pounds, yet my mattress started to sag after only a few months of use!!!!! By the end of year one, I had rotated my mattress 4 times. We were under a COVID lockdown, so rather than have someone enter my home to come measure, I ordered a 4" memory foam topper to place on the mattress. It too sagged in all of the places where the bed sagged. By then, my back was out and I was beyond miserable and perpetually exhausted. I called and they sent an independent inspector, who conducted various measurements on the mattress. Based on his report, Airloom determined that the mattress did not have enough sag for the warranty to go into effect. (I have issue with the way the measurements were conducted, but that is another story. ) I can't imagine how bad the bed has to feel for them to deem it anything but normal wear & tear. I have owned many beds in my lifetime, but have never encountered such a blasé attitude. I couldn't reach anyone by phone, and got a form letter in the mail resolving my claim. My next move is to contact American Express Purchase Protection to try and get my money back. A year of bad sleep and a product that they clearly don’t stand behind. This is such bad business!! DO NOT BUY!

so far so good

Time will tell how the mattress holds up with sagging and indentations. But so far so good. Worth the money.

Sagging/dents after 5 months!

I tried several mattresses at Mancini's Sleepworld , but was talked into the Aireloom Bay preferred Red Rocks Luxetop Queen by the sales person, claiming the $4K was well worth the comfort. I'm a petite, slim woman and because of that I have a hard time understanding how after 5 months, there is a huge dent in the mattress and it's sagging around my hip area. This was supposed to be one of their top line mattresses, "like sleeping on a clouds" and instead, I feel every hill/valley and the sagging around my hips is hurting my back. This was a total waste of $4k and I'm so mad that I paid good money for a piece of junk! My other mattress that was also hand tuffed lasted me 15 years and cost me half the price. Since it's passed the 3 month return window, I'm out $4k and am stuck with a heavy, cheaply made mattress!

worst mattress ever

This is our second Aireloom matress because the first was declared a lemon after 2 years. The replacement mattress is worse. It is lumpy, uncomfortable and the company charged us the difference to upgrade. We have spent 4K on 2 awful mattresses and fear/know they will ask for additional funds to replace this one. To replace a lemon under warrentee should not cost more money!

Aireloom If you have any back or hip problems DO NOT BUY

The problem for me is, I tested the bed extensively at the store ( went approx 15 times over a 2 month period ). Slept in the Bed for at lease 20-30 hrs. Was told the bed I was testing was BRAND NEW. Purchased the bed. The one I received feels NOTHING like the one at the store. I am unable to sleep in the bed at all. I am looking at calling 1-800-junk to dispose of the bed. I think the fact that many parts are hand made, and the quality control is poor, so no 2 beds are alike. If you have ANY health issues. Do not buy this bed. There is zero guarantee of that what you receive will feel anything like the one you tested. My 4k bed is going in the trash.

Fully scalloped after one year

For the first for or five months this mattress was great and it was actually a second mattress after I returned another aireloom mattress that was too firm and was beginning to scallop. What a mistake I made going with this same brand! I was considering going with a top of the line Simmons but figured this mattress had to be great because that's what the store and salespeople were selling it up as. The thing was like $3600. I am very disappointed I bought this bed! Beds should last longer than four months!

Aireloom Mattress Review of their 10 year Warranty (It's not what you think)

Hi, My wife and I purchased an Aireloom Dana Point queen bed in 2018. It is now 2023. It was good for a couple of years. We rotated the bed every 6 months as per instructions. After two years we started being uncomfortable and we both were having issues with sore backs and sciatia pains. We saw that the mattress was sagging in hip areas, but thought we were just getting old and this was normal as the mattress was conforming to our bodys as was described in instructions. Fast forward to 2023 ( 6 years later), my wife and I travelled for 2 months, and slept on at least 15 different beds. On our return, we both had back and sciatia issues just 2 days after sleeping in our Aireloom bed. I found the original receipt and warranty information for the bed. I then went to Sit and Sleep (where we purchased the bed for $2600!). They said, the warranty was with Aireloom (ESKluft) and gave me a phone number. I called them and they sent an inspector to check out our bed. The inspector took measurements using plumb weights and strings, and used graduated cardboard cylinders and took photos. The bed had a slight sag on the sides where we sleep (conforming areas) and the center was slightly raised, no big deal. I told him, the issue is more with the strength of the coil springs within the bed that have weakened in the hip areas. This was causing our backs and hips to sag more than they should. He agreed and was on his way. A week later I received and email from ESKluft, saying there is nothing wrong with the bed and there is nothing they could do for us. Really?? In conclusion, I can tell you that the 10 year Aireloom warranty is worth nothing. The tests performed were done with lightweight cardboard tubes and string with weights to measure flatness. The issue is when substantial weight is applied in areas where our body weight is concentrated when sleeping. That was clearly a waste of time for all! FYI, this is the first review of any kind that I have ever done, I am not happy! Buyer beware of Aireloom mattresses. Michel Lauzon

Worst Mattress at 2 years old.

Bought this bed new around 2 years ago and it's already needing to be replaced. Cannot sleep comfortably in it and the warranty is a joke. Avoid. Worst back pain I've ever had from sleeping on a mattress. I weigh 135 pounds and husband around 200 and both of us stay physical fit. Both of us have major back pain from sleeping on this mattress. Recently traveled and neither of us had pain during those 2 weeks.

aches and pain

I bought the ex firm Equinox in june for $3000+ and it was good until after the 120 days i felt like i was sleeping on lumps of rocks. I contacted the store to see if I could get a replacement and I am just getting the run around. I am so disappointed after spending so much money. My last mattress last me her 15 yrs and was still good sleep. I am so sleep deprived its not real. I am just going to get a cheaper but more comfy mattress.

Hard as cement and terrible customer service

I like a firm mattress and when I tried out the AIRELOOM extra firm in the showroom is was great. What they delivered was a mattress that felt like a block of concrete. It was so bad I couldn't sleep the first night and had to go to my guest room. When I contacted their customer support they said "As per our warranty card there is an adjustment period when receiving your new mattress," ie, we have no suggestions for you other than suffer through the literal pain and lack of sleep until the mattress is broken in. What a joke. I would stay away from this company.
