I started my search for a bed in a box about 6 months ago. I first selected a memory foam style mattress and it did not go well. I returned that mattress and dug deeper into research finally deciding on finding a latex mattress. Unfortunately there are not many options that will ship to Canada. After much deliberation I chose the bloom and have been pleased with the outcome. The aches and pains from the last mattress are no longer there and I am sleeping very well on the firm choice. Highly recommend.

Pretty fabulous mattress. As someone with a chronic condition that keeps me in bed a significant amount of the time, I needed something soft and cozy that was supportive. I had a standard mattress with a memory foam topper. It was blistering hot and I sunk into it like quicksand. In contrast, this Bloom latex mattress sleeps cool, is comfy soft but supports me as it should. I’m very happy with my new mattress.

Great mattress! We were hesitant to get a soft bed as I like firm but my husband want to relieve some pressure points. We did get the softest and I love it. It is stable and so soft how the pillow top cradles you- it’s like firm with a hug. I was also concerned about a smell when first opening as I am very sensitive, but there was absolutely none. Our old mattress was a memory foam so I was concerned that there may be disturbance when moving but that hasn’t been a problem. We’ve only had it a week so this is only an initial review but so far we are extremely happy. Also we purchased it on a Saturday and received it 9 days later. The person on Chat helped answer my questions, processed my order and followed up with an email. They also sent emails to update us on the order.
My husband and I loved our Brooklyn Bloom Hybrid mattress so much that we purchased a second one a few months later for our guest room. We find this mattress to be incredibly comfortable and excellent quality. It's feels like the perfect combination of support and cushioning. I'm a combination sleeper, but I mostly end up on my stomach. I've slept on this mattress for a week and I've been getting the best sleep of my life, no joke I even drool now lol! This mattress is great! It’s on the softer side of medium firmness but the latex/innerspring combo still provides more bounce than a memory foam. Perfect for side sleepers. Supportive enough for back sleepers as well.

I was looking at another more expensive brand in stores that is made in the UK but decided to take a chance on this mattress. I love this mattress and would recommend it to side sleepers. After a couple weeks of research, I concluded that some of my neck pain was caused by my mattress being too firm and cranking my spine, and also that I was probably not sleeping as well as I'd like because I was sleeping too warm. I did a lot of research and nearly settled on a plush S-brand memory foam hybrid with cooling features, but kept coming back to latex and figured I had nothing to lose giving Brooklyn Bedding a shot. I'm really happy I did. I haven't had a headache since the mattress arrived, and I no longer turn over all night like a rotisserie chicken trying to get off my pressure points and get out of hot spots. The latex, especially with linen sheets, sleeps nice and cool and has just enough give/bounce to let my shoulders sink down and rest while still supporting my body. My Fitbit sleep score has improved by about five-ten points. This feels like a great mattress and with the discount code, the price was a steal compared to competing mattresses. Very pleased with this.
About 3-4 weeks with the mattress and I’m enjoying it! I’m a side sleeper so I got the soft and am pleased I did. I like a Soft mattress. It does sleep cooler than my previous mattress which had a memory foam topper. Pleased with the purchased. I decided to add on the bamboo sheets and wish I didn’t. The quality isn’t there and I could get better quality for a better price elsewhere. Recommend the mattress, don’t recommend the sheets

Love the comfort and coolness of this mattress. I thought it might be too soft at first, but the longer I've had it, the more comfortable it is. My shoulders don't experience pain from pressure points experienced in other mattresses. The latex is great. Well worth the price.

This is a very comfortable mattress. Our first hybrid as a matter of fact. After hours and hours of researching all kinds of mattresses, this mattress is definitely the right one for us. So glad we went with the latex. Not a big fan of memory foam. The latex is much more responsive and cooler. Overall we are very happy.

Restful sleep at last! Edge support is excellent. Softness and resistance or spring back are a perfect balance. My previous experience with a good quality 7” memory foam mattress led me to research something else....something with more spring back. It's just a touch too soft for me, although it still has good support. It's most noticeable when I sit on the side of the bed. It's also a little hot - holds in heat more than I would like. But the support is excellent. And I love the wool top which is anti-mite.

We bought this bed because it was the closest model to the previous bed we purchased from Brooklyn Bedding called the Aloe Alexis that unfortunately was ruined by our movers. Although we are happy with the Bloom Hybrid bed in general, we definitely miss having the 6 inches of latex that we had in our Aloe Alexis. So, we just purchased a latex topper to hopefully achieve the same level of comfort we previously had.
Only glitch was that we bought 2 twin XL to make a split king and they only sent 1 mattress. Had to wait nearly another week but they did credit me $100 for mistake. So far we really like them. We purchased firm. I thought it would be more firm but not really disappointed. Good side support. Feels Like memory foam on top of firm mattress. Works great on adjustable base from Amazon. So far great deal for price and great improvement from Sleep number (the bed we replaced)!
I’ve only had Bloom about 10 days, so still deciding. I got the soft for issues with arthritis and Lipedema. Good for side sleeping, may be too soft for back. I’d say it’s growing on me. Edge support could be better.
The bed is comfortable, my back no longer aches when I wake up in the morning. Two cons is that the mattress seems a bit hot to sleep on. I'm not sure how breathable the wool material they used is. Also, when my partner and I cuddle in the middle of the bed, our hips sink. It does not bother him, but it is very unsupported for me. But when roll back to my side of the bed, I sleep so well, I wake up in the same position I went to bed in.
Bed is very bouncy and soft. A little to much bounce as the weight transfers and wakes up partner getting out. Also go up on the firmness as this is really plush

So far so good. Has it been one month already? This is my first spring hybrid mattress. I weigh about 130 pounds with a lower back injury that needs some support and I am on a medium firm. I sleep on my back, on my side, on my stomach, half off the bed, you name it, and so far no sagging. That’s what happened with my old mattress. My injury can’t handle sagging. I did not notice any overwhelming fumes and I am very conscious of that stuff. The top is soft yet supportive. I’m really glad I bought this mattress.
I have tried every mattress. Usually end up with hip pain. I think because I don’t do well with memory foam. The latex on this mattress was comfortable from the first day. No hip pain. Firm enough (medium) but also soft enough. Perfect for me. Also no chemical smell. I am sleeping peacefully after hip surgery.

Good mattress so far. My wife loved it right away but I'm still trying to get adjusted. We came from a sleep number bed and although it's pretty good, I feel some aches in the morning. It's only been nights though so I want to give it a fair shake.
Not as firm as we expected, but still wonderfully comfortable! The mattress conforms so well to your body and is actually quite cool in the summer. Our dog also loves it! Best of all we had to get a king mattress up a narrow flight of stairs, and while heavy, it was so much better to take the 18"x18" by 4' box up those stairs. The expansion process is fun to watch.

We were recommended to Brooklyn by a friend as we discussed new mattresses, and what a recommendation it was. My wife traditionally likes firmer mattresses and I lean toward the middle of firm/soft. We had intended to go with a Tempur mattress but decided to call Brooklyn and talk through some options. We settled on the firm Bloom and could not be happier. It is the perfect level of firmness and both my wife and I have been sleeping very well.

Buying a mattress online is tricky business. After reading more reviews than I can remember, we decided that the latex hybrid Bloom was among the best options, and it was nicely less expensive than its closest competitor. We have been sleeping on the mattress for a couple of weeks now, and we're getting there. The first two nights didn't go well at all; I felt comfortable, but couldn't get consistent sleep. That has improved tremendously. I am able to sleep on my side far more comfortably than on my previous mattress, yet it's still firm enough for when I sleep on my back. Overall, I think this was a good choice for me as a combination side/back sleeper. I just hope it lasts!

So far so good after 30 days. Delivery was good, but mattress is HEAVY!! We were replacing our 16yr old mattress, and opted for the hybrid. I don't wake up in the morning hurting like I used to, and my husband has stopped snoring at night. Definitely happy with our purchase. I am petite and my husband is under 150lbs.

Keep in mind we're comparing this sweet new organic mattress to our lifetime of sleeping on used conventional mattresses or stiff futons...We've overall had an immense improvement in our sleep experience. The first week of excitement, I couldn't wait to go to bed and I really wanted to give this mattress a hug. Some of that improvement I would attribute to an upgraded size (we went from a Full to a King, so of course this is better...) The Medium was cushy but bouncy, firmer than expected but that's OK, firmer than for example a bed at a 3-star hotel such as a Doubletree. I'm a bony person and my joints feel cushioned on this mattress. My partner mentioned there is WAY less motion when I get in or out of bed, and I've noticed the same for him. I love that there is no off-gassing or chemical smells- it smelled faintly of cucumber lotion to my nose. Very securely packed inside a thick vacuum bag and plastic roll, so when the box arrived a torn wreck, the roll itself was completely safe...I'm impressed that hybrids can ship this way. Great contact-less mattress purchasing experience during a pandemic, and we are super stoked to have our new mattress. Should have done this way sooner.
After sleeping on it for several weeks we find the bed softer than anticipated. We loved that straight out of the box there was no plastic smell or any other chemical smells at all.

This mattress is great! It’s on the softer side of medium firmness but the latex/innerspring combo still provides more bounce than a memory foam. Perfect for side sleepers. Supportive enough for back sleepers as well.

So far, so good. The only issues we had was with FedEx getting us the mattress, the foundation, and the foundation cover to us. BB was great in helping us get things straightened out! (I wish UPS or another carrier had been an option) We opted for the medium-firmness, queen-sized Bloom Hybrid, and it has been great. We are smaller side sleepers, so no more pressure point discomfort!

I was initially planning to purchase the medium but decided to go with the firm after reading other reviews about saggy edges on the medium, and I’m glad I did! My fiancé and I are both side sleepers, 190 and 120 lbs. We share our cal king with our 65 lb lab husky mix. To me, the firm is more of a medium (but I’ve only had very firm mattresses in the past). We all love our bed and hope it holds up. So far so good. We did have some issues with the shipping and customer service (they we’re frustrating to work with, blaming the issue on FedEx and not offering any suggestions for remedying the situation. Our mattress was set to deliver 4 days early to our new house that we did not have access to yet. Thankfully FedEx was able to hold the mattress at their store near by, and we were able to pick it up with the moving truck. Everyone deserves grace in the time of COVID so I’m not taking stars off the review, but I was passed from one support specialist to another to finally be told there was nothing they could do and that I could try to file a vacation hold with FedEx.
I started my search for a bed in a box about 6 months ago. I first selected a memory foam style mattress and it did not go well. I returned that mattress and dug deeper into research finally deciding on finding a latex mattress. Unfortunately there are not many options that will ship to Canada. After much deliberation I chose the bloom and have been pleased with the outcome. The aches and pains from the last mattress are no longer there and I am sleeping very well on the firm choice. Highly recommend.
Love this mattress. We got the firm mattress and we’re a little worried it would be too firm since we were used to a very soft mattress but it’s absolutely perfect. It’s much cooler then our last mattress was and makes our nights much more comfortable. It’s offered nice support while still remaining soft. We’re completely satisfied with our purchase and can’t believe we waited so long to get one.
The bed is great and I absolutely love the adjustable frame. The twin beds together poses a problem sometimes but we figured out a solution for it.

I was hesitant to purchase as I didn’t have too much luck the first two mattresses we have tried in the past year. After reading many positive reviews and thought to give it a chance. I’m pleased to say that this Bloom Hybrid is not only super comfortable, it has helped elevate my sciatica pain. We’re thinking about replacing our other mattress as well.
After two weeks of deciding which mattress was best for us we decided to purchase the bloom. I've been sleeping on it for about a month now and I noticed that I wake up with an achy lower back. Could it be that the FIRM is not right for me? I don't want wake up every morning feeling this way. I will say that we upgraded from a Queen to a King and it's phenomenal. The bed is great and it was delivered on time but I'm still debating whether a medium would be best but then again I don't want the medium to sag within a year or two.
Very comfortable bed that has improved my sleep quality
I have had my Bloom Hybrid (Medium) for 2 weeks after upgrading from a Signature Hybrid (Soft). Mattress was fine just needed more firmness and support. I feel the latex and 8" coils is a much better fit as a mostly side sleeper on the heavier side. My back feels aligned and we'll supported and I am sleeping through the night without moving and trying to get comfortable all the time. I wake up rested without aches. Yay! The mattress is attractive and appears well made. I also like the organic materials. I would highly recommend this USA made mattress from BB who also has a great support staff, professional and pleasant and purchase was timely. Give them a try if you're wanting sleep comfort.

We have been sleeping on our Bloom mattress for just about two weeks and are loving it! The medium firmness was a little more firm than we expected, but not in a bad way. We had been sleeping on an old too soft mattress for too long! The bed is very well-constructed with great edge support and the pillowy top feels like a dream! We are both sleeping great and would recommend this mattress to anyone!

I am very impressed that this mattress came compressed in a box. I almost ordered a firm, but glad I got the medium since it offers great support. I am sleeping better than I have in a long time. I have 4 dachshunds that love to sprawl out under the covers, and they love it too!
It has been six months since we purchased this mattress. For all that I read about it, I can’t say it has lived up to the hype. Our previous mattress was a plush standard mattress and I think it was a bit more comfortable for my side sleeping style. I still occasionally wake up with back aches and I think it is a bit softer than I expected. I wish the top were a bit more plush and probably would look at other styles the next time.

Extremely comfortable! The only downside to this mattress is that is extremely tall when added to my existing box spring.
I’ve been sleeping on my Brooklyn Bloom for about a week now. I love it. It is so much more comfortable than the memory foam mattress I was sleeping on. I’m sleeping so much better. I love the floaty feel of this mattress.

After lots of research and looking around at independent mattress review web sites, we decided to go with the Brooklyn Bloom. Both my husband and I are average wieght and I sleep mostly on my side, he sleeps on his back. I have had lots of back and neck pain so a top notch mattress is a must. This has not dissappointed us at all. My number one complaint is that it is so comfortable, I struggle to get myself out of bed in the morning. I just want to lay in bed and enjoy the soft, comfort of the mattress. This is a winner!
It's just a touch too soft for me, although it still has good support. It's most noticeable when I sit on the side of the bed. It's also a little hot - holds in heat more than I would like. But the support is excellent. And I love the wool top which is anti-mite.
Bed is good so far. The platform is ok, but not great. It’s larger than the mattress by quite a bit. Slight squeak present too.
My husband and I loved our Brooklyn Bloom Hybrid mattress so much that we purchased a second one a few months later for our guest room. We find this mattress to be incredibly comfortable and excellent quality. It's feels like the perfect combination of support and cushioning. I think the latex in particular provides a very specific cozy feel that gives a hint of softness that responds to your body without the sinking in sensation. I would highly recommend Brooklyn Bedding mattresses, and absolutely love the Bloom Hybrid.
Very comfortable bed. Still not sure if I like it as much as their much cheaper Dreamfoam Aspen 10 bed that I bought several years ago. Both have 3” latex but this one uses coils vs. the cheaper one that uses a foam base. Both are comfortable and help with my occasional lower back pain.
So far so good. The latex is different, but a good responsive different. We don’t like sinking in like memory foam, so the bloom takes care of that. Hoping it’s durable.
I was worried that the medium might be firm for me, but it feels just soft enough. I love this mattress and so does my partner.
The bed is very comfortable. Good quality and good nights sleep. It's a little spongy, so my partner gets movement when I get in and out of bed.

The Mattress is soft but allows you to move unlike memory foam that holds you in place and you feel stuck. the best part is my back does not hurt and the wife loves it.
Very comfortable. We went from Tempurpedic to BB and It took the past few weeks to get used to this mattress due to having fibromyalgia. Edge support could be a little firmer, otherwise, we're very happy with the purchase!
This is a really great bed. The spring layer/latex layer combo makes for a soft yet resilient sleep surface. I tend to get achy hips and shoulders so I went with the soft mattress, and although I am 6'2" & 175 lbs I don't sink in too much.
Pretty fabulous mattress. As someone with a chronic condition that keeps me in bed a significant amount of the time, I needed something soft and cozy that was supportive. I had a standard mattress with a memory foam topper. It was blistering hot and I sunk into it like quicksand. In contrast, this Bloom latex mattress sleeps cool, is comfy soft but supports me as it should. I’m very happy with my new mattress.

I love my Brooklyn Bedding Bloom Hybrid. Was looking for innerspring mattress and Bloom Hybrid had that. Comfortable from the get-go; rolling over in bed and going from one position to another is comfortable for me too. I feel well-rested in the morning and had a smooth transition to sleeping on my new mattress.
I now get quality sleep every night. No more changing sides all night long. I feel well rested in the morning and no aches or pains. Very easy to transition to sleeping on my new mattress.

We got the medium firmness mattress and was worried that it might be too firm but it was actually just perfect. This was certainly an upgrade from our older mattress but it wasn't quite as spectacular as we were expecting. None of the amazing, "never slept so comfortably in my life before" type of experience we read about in some other reviews but certainly comfortable enough for a good night's sleep
I was really skeptical at first but it is an amazing mattress no smells no off gassing soft on top but firm sleeping it’s great

Aurora was nice and cool but not my style. I missed the pillow top and the bloom is perfect. Super soft and pillow top”ish”. Plus it helped my lower back a lot. It’s not as cool as the Aurora. Both are nice mattresses
I’m very satisfied with this mattress. Edge firmness is an important feature, and this mattress met my expectations. I find it comfortable in every other way, as well. Since sleeping on this mattress, I no longer experience morning back pain.

So far so good. It’s been a month. The mattress is really comfortable. We were initially worried the medium wouldn’t be firm enough, but we thought we should try it since we are side sleepers and our previous mattress was a cheap rock. We both hate memory foam and this mattress because it’s latex does NOT feel like it eating you when you lay down on it. There is motion transfer, but it’s not awful and we don’t really care. You don’t struggle to get up and out, but you also don’t just roll off the side. Overall very happy with our purchase. I hope it stands the test of time.
Bedroom makeover for my 13 yo daughter and chose a medium firm full size mattress for her. She sleeps mostly on her back and occasionally side. She loves her new mattress and finds it challenging to get up theses days! I have also taken a few long naps to try out the mattress as a side sleeper and LOVE it! My husband and I have purchased about five or six mattresses in 18 years without ever finding the right one. We currently have a L**sa foam mattress and while it has mostly worked for us, it totally lacks the cozy factor and I have missed the inner springs. This Bloom mattress is sooo cozy and supportive and likely our next purchase for master bedroom as finances permit. We also chose this mattress for our daughter because of natural materials after reading some seriously scary stuff about the chemicals they use in flame retardants used in most mattresses. Very happy so far!
