Seems like a splurge - until your body reminds you it’s been a missing necessity!
This was a gigantic splurge for me, but I am so glad that I did it! I was originally only going to get a new mattress, and a friend recommended avocado… I was very nervous about purchasing something like the mattress and the base without being able to try them out first, but based on lots of information in reviews, and my own online research, I decided to make the leap. The mattress and the base are awesome, and the customer service is just outstanding! I’ve been telling people it’s kind of like the back up camera and some of the other bells and whistles on my SUV when I bought it 7 yrs ago and told the salesman I’ve never wanted or needed those features and doubt I’d ever use them...and now I’d be lost without them!! I’m finding that the zero gravity position is really much more gentle on my body than being completely supine all night. I LOVE the massage options! I can’t say it feels much like “massage” per se, but it’s super-relaxing. And the under-bed light is just icing on the Avocado cake! Well worth the expense - and the wait!!

We have been loving the ZG and my husband snores so now I can sleep without having to go to the couch. I also can raise my legs some and not have leg pain at night. So great. Thank you.

Great adjustable base! I especially love the "zero gravity" setting. I use that setting every night. The "massage" is more of a vibration but I still find it very soothing after a long day. Highly recommend.

I do like my adjustable
I do like my adjustable base I wish I was able to plug in my phone into the USB outlet but because of my bed frame it doesn't work... I wish that the mechanism were a lot quieter when raising and lowering the bed, at night it wakes up my wife because the sound is loud... One of the features that I liked about bad was the USB plugs but because it fits so snuggly into my bed frame there's no room to plug in my USB. When adjusting the bed I have to push the button on the remote control a couple times before the bed reacts.
Best bed ever!
We waited somewhat patiently, 8 weeks later it arrived!! We love it, easily adjusts with remote, mattress with pillow top firm but not to firm. Massage running is quiet. Can't wait to go to bed. Love the easy adjusts buttons for tv viewing or zero gravity. Lumbar is great also

Extreme Delays & missing parts
I ordered an adjustable base and two mattresses. After three weeks of no contact, I reached out and was told the order was almost ready to ship. for the next four weeks, I texted every week and I was told the same thing- that my bed was in shipping and should be coming within a few days. It was beyond frustrating that I had to keep reaching out and no one proactively called to explain why things were running so behind. The bed was finally delivered on Friday and is missing brackets for the headboard.
Pleased With adjustable Base
Delivery went smoothly - installers were familiar with how to assemble the unit (Chicago area). Product is pretty much as advertised. Seems solid, works well. The massage feature (this is really a vibrator - not a massager) is better than I expected - it has 7 intensity levels and 3 modes. The one thing I don’t like is the foot adjustment. It works as advertised but some competitors allow for an inverted V shape for the legs so knees can bend. This unit just raises (or lowers below flat - which is uncomfortable) the leg area but the area remains flat. While this may have back benefits, for me it is uncomfortable to have my legs unbent when laying on my back - or sitting in the bed with the head raised. Imagine sitting on a chair with your legs straight out in front of you rather than bent at the knee. I did not take points off for this because I knew about this feature prior to purchase so I can’t fault Avocado. The adjustable bed frame features make the mattress more comfortable and have improved my quality of sleep. I am a side sleeper, but would like to switch to a back sleeper - I think the ability to raise my head area to eliminate snoring and airway issues can help with that.

Buyer beware!
Our adjustable bed worked for a while, then the remote stopped working. Avocado staff said the right things but they couldn't help. They suggested calling the manufacturer, Serveco. They simply don't reply. Our bed sits in the middle of the room with the foot end up in the air, the head end on the floor and we sleep on couches in the living room. I would call that bad
I purchased an Adjustable Bed
I purchased an Adjustable Bed Frame and mattress. The mattress is extremely comfortable and so far I have had several restful nights of sleep. The adjustable base operates well and is covered with a beautiful linen fabric. The light and USB features work well and are a nice convenience. However, the massage feature could be better. It feels more like a regular vibration then a massage. I was expecting more of a pulsating, kneading sensation instead its just a vibrating sentation. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase. The rating system will not allow me to give anything in between a 4 and a 5. Because my expectation of the massage feature was not met I can not give it a 5 but I do think it deserves at least a 4.5

Base works as advertised and
Base works as advertised and is fine. Our issues are with the delivery service. Units got some rough handling along the way and arrived with some damage. Side skirt board on RH side was folded inboard. Some soil and small cut on fabric from box penetration. We ordered two Twin XL's for lineup and match and placed the damaged side inboard and cleaned and repaired the soil and damage to fabric covering. COVID may have had something to do with this but Inside delivery and setup while requested and acknowledged, did not happen. Hired my own crew and was reimbursed by Avocado. Head board brackets were promised but did not arrive. Ordered my own through Avocado's US service company and was reimbursed by Avocado.
Adjustable bed frame base
Love it. However a little disappointed that it was unable to attach to my headboard due to the fact they had no brackets for it. Now I will have to figure out how to do this
Wonderful Bed!
This has to be one of the most comfortable beds we have ever owned. I have not yet had enough time to use all the adjustable features but I know they are there if needed. I love the size and the mattress comfort. I look forward to going to bed each night.
Installation Issues
I ordered a mattress and movable base. The installer knew nothing about how to install the base. He did the power plugs completely wrong so the base was not fully functional. Once I finally was in contact with Avocado they had trouble getting someone to come out. One company was scheduled and never showed. I contacted Avocado and the best they could do was Task Rabbit. The Tasker was a good guy but he had no clue how to install a product he had never seen. He was able to lift the bed and we figured out together how to correctly install it after watching an online video a couple of times. So my issue is that they need to train the installers in the products. These are difficult times so I believe everyone was doing their best.

Enjoying the bed frame very much. Since I have a sinus condition which sometimes causes me to cough a lot, just raising the head section helps a lot. Have used the vibrator a couple times after doing some back breaking yard work.
