Kip Set Mattress Reviews

The Kip Set mattress is innovative as the team owns the entire manufacturing and build process. This is different than many other mattresses that source their manufacturing with local shops that are contracted for their business. The Kip Set mattress gets good marks on spinal support without being too firm.

Kip Set's Specifics

Quality of Materials

The Kip Set mattress features some high quality foams that resemble those produced in TEMPUR® brand mattresses. Their three layer should last long for most customers. Some who are of larger weight profiles may find that there are imprints over time.

The Kip Set mattress features three layers of foams with varying designs and densities. Here are the details:

Cover Layer: The cover is made of Tencel® material that is moisture whicking and helps with keeping things cool. It is also stretchy so it covers the mattress without any movement for sleepers.

Layer 2: The first comfort layer is made of Genius® foam that relieves pressure points and has a comfortable 'squish' with a slow response. It also sleeps cooler than memory foam.

Layer 3: The second comfort layer is another layer of Genius foam that comes with built-in vents to release hot air and further relieve pressure from the surface layer.

Layer 4: The last layer is higher density core foam that provides superior spinal support throughout the night.

Overall Comfort

Experts and reviewers agree that this mattress provides superior back support through its incorporation of high-end foams. Some may find that it is too soft for them == especially those that have larger bodies.

Firmness

Take a look above for our firmness chart. Although the foam core in the base layer is firmer than most, this mattress will feel soft to average sleepers. It hugs the body more than a medium-firmness mattress.

Back Pain Relief

This mattress will relieve back pain and support the spine well for those that are medium and lighter weight. Those that are heavier or bigger in body shape, may find that this mattress doesn't suppor their spine properly.

Cooling

One of the benefits of Genius foam is that it sleeps cooler than memory foam. However, it still may retain heat for some sleepers. If you are someone who sleeps very warm or who has a warm sleeping area, you may experience some heat retention.

Who Is This Mattress Best For?

This is a great mattress for those that would want a softer high-end memory foam mattress, but don't want to pay the high prices at the mattress retailers.

Just right for me!

This Kip Set double bed mattress is not too soft and not too firm, just right for me! (I'm 75 kg) Minimal partner disturbance compared to the spring mattress. Couldn't smell any terrible chemical scent before and after fitting 100% bamboo covers for pillows & mattress. When you wake up you will find that your mattress have moulded around the natural contours of your body.It will feel unusual when coming from spring mattresses, so keep it a little longer so your body can adjust to it.

Very comfortable!

The mattress has definitely helped with my sore back ! The mattress is very comfortable and doesn't move too much when my partner moves around. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

HEAVEN ON EARTH

After purchasing KIP SET for our new home it sat in the garage in its box for three weeks while our renovations were finalised. The day came when we got to move in, un-box our KIP SET and put our worries at bay. The last comment I made to my husband when we went to sleep was fingers crossed we have a good night sleep.... and that we did!!! The bed was amazingly comfortable, and hubby was stoked at the fact each time I tossed and turned or climbed in and out of bed to get baby settled he didn't feel a thing!! we love our KIP SET soooo much. Update: 2months on....Our investment in the KIPSET has been the best yet...! I have had three other nights on different mattresses over the last two months & boy oh boy do you notice the difference!! I honestly feel that when we are next on holidays I will have to pack our mattress because where ever we go it will be inferior to our KIPSET

Very good Medium-Soft, shop quality mattress.

Already tried 3 other popular brand mattresses in the box. Kip Set is the best mattress so far. Still considering if it's the most suitable match for my adjustable massage bed frame, due to its light weight. Affordable, reasonably prices mattress, for the high quality of materials used. Good support, perfectly moulds around the body's pressure points. Extremely comfortable bed to sleep on or just relax and watch tv. Happy to recommend to anyone seeking a softer feel mattress.

I'm glad I purchased from the trusted mattress makers

It is a little daunting buying a mattress online given you can't physically feel it. I was intrigued by the new era of startup mattress companies selling their products through channels such as Instagram. Whilst there are a few around, I chose to go with Kip Set as it was from Forty Winks Sleepmaker - long time mattress experts. They have the history and knowledge & delivered a great product! The mattress is extremely comfortable. At first a little firm but over time you get used to it. I'm glad I didn't pay twice as much for a spring mattress. It's so easy to get carried away in what the companies say you need, when really all you need is this mattress.

Bed-cellent..love it!

I love it! It is soo comfortable. Honestly the best mattress ever! My old mattress was 3 times the amount of my kipset and can not compare at all! I also love my pillow too.
