Eva

Eva Mattress™ is a hybrid mattress in a box that features micro-coils, pocket springs, and gel memory foam. This combination of materials for a surprisingly low price is one of the reasons that the experts are shouting Eva's praises. In terms of the feel, it runs firmer than other common all-foam mattresses in a box, which is great for some but not preferred by others.

Koala

The Koala mattress is one of the most popular mattresses in Australia. They were one of the early companies to revolutionise the direct-to-consumer mattress in the box space in the country. They have optimised their mattress designs over the years with 3 well-rated foam mattresses to choose from. Buyers mostly have good things to say for the brand with select negative feedback mostly mentioning delivery and long-term feel mishaps.

Based on our aggregated reviews and our scoring method, we recommend Koala in this match up!

Eva's Owner Satisfaction

Reviews can be a helpful way to find out if a new mattress is going to fit your needs. They do a great job uncovering shortcomings and demonstrating good selling points. However, trying to find the perfect brand for you by wading through all of the reviews isn't always easy. But, with the data from customer feedback and reviews both overall and recently -- customers are some of the most pleased with these mattresses.

Eva's Supportiveness

Having good support can make or break your night's sleep, and these mattresses are fabulous at providing support. Although you may think this means more firmness, supportive mattresses can also be medium or soft in firmness. The essential quality is whether it supports the spine or if it causes curvature in your body. These mattresses are some of the best at providing good support for sleepers.

Edge Support
Do you want to sit on the side of the mattress comfortably? These mattresses are great at providing a comfortable seating ledge on the edge of the mattress.

Bowling Ball & Density Tests
Many reviewers like measuring mattress firmness by resting a bowling ball on the surface. Support across the mattress that matches a comfortable and supportive sleeping surface for your body is the most important thing to see. These mattresses offer consistency and even density so you can feel comfortable if you have wide shoulders or hips.

Eva's Durability

Like all technology, we as customers want products that will last. Sadly, with the current industry disruption that drives prices lower, expectations of quality changes. Even our clothing and bedding doesn't last as long as it used to. That said, the customer feedback data shows that these mattresses are some of the most durable. Based on that and current averages, these mattresses should last a minimum of 7 - 12 years for most sleepers. Also, if you the mattress doesn't work for your body in the short term, you could get a refund because of the trial policy.

Koala's Owner Satisfaction

These mattresses are provided great scores from sleepers versus others, which means when we evaluated current customer sentiment data from across the net, these mattresses ranked very well. This is a great place to start in figuring out if one of these mattresses will fit your needs -- read on for more specifics.

Koala's Supportiveness

Mattress support is the most important thing to maintain a healthy back while you sleep. You want a mattress that makes you feel refreshed and doesn't cause back aches. Reviewers describe these mattresses as well supportive.

Edge Support
Edge support is always important to those that want to lay close to the edge of the mattress, desire sitting on the edge, or have mobility issues. These mattresses are supportive along the edges and don't suffer from too much contouring versus the center.

Bowling Ball & Density Tests
Popular among reviewers, the bowling ball test does a good job showing if a mattress is firm and its evenness of support. If a mattress isn't even in its support, some may find the mattress uncomfortable. However, these mattresses do a good job providing even support for sleepers.

Koala's Durability

In terms of durability, these mattresses are quite competitive versus the competition. Having a durable mattress can mean comfortable sleep for years while one that degrades fast can mean unhappiness and money lost. These mattresses will last up to a decade, which is good for mattresses today. Those that are heavier in body type may experience a slighy decrease in longevity.

Eva Mattress - Tina L.

Have had our Eva Mattress for a couple of weeks now and we both love it, the most comfortable mattress we have ever slept on, have spent $1000's of dollars over the years looking for this level of comfort, so easy to set up and so beautiful to sleep on, I will never go anywhere else, my husband was the one who suggested we buy it, I thought he was a bit crazy buying something so important without us trying it out, but the 120 day trial was an incentive, guess what? It's not going back Thanks Eva Mattress Team Kind Regards Tina and Peter Lentfer
