Aireloom

Aireloom is a brand of California based E.S. Kluft & Company that is sold exclusively in mattress retailers across the US. Its claim to fame is their patented 'Aireloom lift' that increases loft when one is laying on the mattress. This gives the sense that the bed is cradling you. However, there are common complaints about durability in some models with some claiming sagging issues. Additionally, price is a potential issue with the brand as their prices are much higher than other competitors.

Raymour And Flanigan

Raymour and Flanigan sell a variety of mattresses including many name brands, but they also sell mattresses under their own label - Bellanest, which is a line of extremely affordable mattresses. Their mattresses come in either memory foam or hybrid varieties, and most find them comfortable though there are some that claim durability issues.

Based on our aggregated reviews and our scoring method, we recommend Aireloom in this match up!

Aireloom's Owner Satisfaction

Making sense of customer reviews can be a powerful tool for shoppers. Unfortunately, sleepers don't always feel great about these mattresses. Some have comfortable experiences, but others have issues. There are more details below to study if you are considering buying.

Aireloom's Supportiveness

These mattresses are good at support. Though there are a few folks that don't like the firmness of these mattresses, most customers describe these mattresses as having the right amount of support.

Edge Support
Edge support is really important for folks that spend a few minutes sitting on the side of the mattress or like to use the side of their mattress. These mattresses are well rated by most on edge support and they should do well for most customers.

Bowling Ball & Density Tests
Many folks like to use bowling balls to measure mattress firmness and support. These mattresses are well rated at providing even support across the surface, which means they will do well with your hips and shoulders.

Aireloom's Durability

Sadly, some customers don't love these mattresses for their durability. While some customers felt comfortable with their mattress, others found that quicker break down than others. If you are thinking about buying, read up on the return and warranty policies beforehand.

Raymour And Flanigan's Owner Satisfaction

Customers don't always feel good about these mattresses. Some folks report feeling comfy, but others experience discomfort. Therefore, it is hard to understand if one of these will keep you totally comfortable. Read on to learn more about the specifics to find out if these mattresses will work for you.

Raymour And Flanigan's Supportiveness

Firmness isn't the same as support. Deep support and spinal alignment is essential to a healthy night's rest. Sadly, these mattresses have some mixed reviews when it comes to support. Most find the mattress to be comfortable at the beginning, but some folks felt like support was lacking over the long term.

Edge Support
For those that like the lay close to the side of their mattress or have mobility issues, even edge support is very important. These mattresses do well with edge support at first, but some found it didn't last as well as they would have hoped.

Raymour And Flanigan's Durability

In addition to having good support, having a mattress that really lasts is key for shoppers. We all wish that our mattress would be just as comfortable a decade later as it was the first day. However, sadly these mattresses are not rated very well by sleepers on longevity and some have experienced issues after only a short time. If you are considering using as your full time mattress, read over the specs and policies to make sure it will work for you.

Disappointment For Sure
I have had my Rip Van Winkle Natural Dreams with Luxury Cashmere King bed for 12 years. Many could say that is a long life span however I would like to provide long term customer experience details. Extreme sagging from year 1. Called Sealy's where purchased and they came out and said natural use. Ridiculous. Offered me store credit of $1000 on a $5000 King Mattress.

2. This mattress is so darn heavy that it would take 3-4 strong adults to move it (I've moved 4 times in 12 years...everyone says it's the heaviest mattress to move)

3. After point 2 was made, can you imagine flipping and rotating this bed on your own? It takes 2 adults and still is ridiculous.

4. In addition to sagging it forms to your body so to speak so after 3 years it has looked like a body shape of a 200 lb woman and hump in the middle and a less dented body shape of a 160lb man. This causes lots of cumbersome rotating & flippingwhich is very difficult.

5. I've reached my life span of a $5000 (price paid on sale) mattress with a 25 year warranty after 12 years.

6. I'm currently mattress shopping and can buy a new Sealy for 1/3 of the price and not care if lasts 5-7 years.

Sagging Mattress
Bought a aireloom mattress 6 months ago from sit and sleep. Worst mattress I have ever owned. Sags so bad that I wake up with a backache every morning. Sis and sleep well not do a thing about it

BEST EVER - IMMEDIATE PAIN RELIEF - TOTAL COMFORT
My husband and I have never been so cozy comfortable. We have the split king with adjustable base.

I immediately was relieved from hip pain that I had from a fairly new Temperpedic mattress.

The only complaint we have is: WE DON'T WANT TO GET OUT OF BED IN THE MORNING.

aireloom mattress
We purchased our Aireloom Chantille Ultra Plush Euro Top Eastern King mattress from Mancini's in Mountain View, CA., Nov. 2012. What had sold us on spending $8101.00 on a mattress was that when we tested it in the showroom we did not feel the movement of our partner. For us, who are light sleepers, this is a major deal. Our body was supported and it was very comfortable. A bit too high for us, so we exchanged the tall box spring for one that was several inches shorter.
We received that mattress and straight away there was a problem. Not Mancini's problem, we would need to contact an independent inspector (Premier Inspection Services,LTD.), at our expense, to analyze the mattress and make a recommendation. He did, and basically said that the problem was in our head.
Here it is 2016 and the mattress still does not live up to the mattress that we tested in the showroom. The shape is trapezoidal, and we feel every movement that our partner makes. Rolling over, change in position, sneezing and coughing are all felt by the other.
We feel gypped and misled. How could we have been so stupid. We could have purchased a cheaper mattress and changed it out when it no longer was comfortable.

This is the best ever
We initially bought a tempurpedic based on many recommendations. 30 days later and my back was an absolute mess. I could hardly move and I was at the chiropractor 6 times in 30 days. The chemical smell was horrible and I was sweating my butt off. My wife could not bear to sleep in it. I even had my kids jump on it to try to 'break it in'.

So, we went back to the store and the sales person was very helpful in assisting with the problems that we were having. My wife stumbled across the Aireloom mattresses and suggested I try it out. I fell in love with the support and comfort immediately. The price kind of scared me initially, but with 30 days of hell behind me, I was up for anything. I like the fact that there are many 'real' materials in this mattress and it is not a cookie cutter mattress made out of chemicals. The delivered the mattress promptly and our first night was heaven. Support, cool and comfort. We noticed immediately that when the two of us were in the middle of the bed, there was considerable sag to the mattress. I was kind of perplexed by this until I was on the floor playing with our dog and my wife and kids were horsing around in the bed. I noticed that there was significant flex in the box spring support slats when they were rolling around on the bed. Being an amish bed frame, the box is supported by 3/4 inch oak slats that run from side to side. I made up support blocks positioned under the slats in the middle of the bed and the problem was rectified. This bed is as comfortable today as it was the day we bought it.

sagging mattress
This is so interesting....A couple of years ago, my mom gave me her brand new, Aireloom Hybrid Bamboo mattress as she decided to purchased a different size (mine is a queen). I live in an older building, and there is a place in my bedroom floor where it's uneven, so when I started to feel like I had to roll uphill to turn over in bed, I figured it was the floor, not the mattress; however, my handyman used his balance to show me that the floor underneath my bed is indeed level, which was so baffling to me, as I feel as though I am sleeping in a ditch when I am on my side of the bed.

I have a solid platform bed, with storage drawers, so it can't be chalked up to an unsteady base or bed frame. I stumbled upon this site accidentally this evening, while researching mattresses, and am now 100% convinced that my mattress is to blame, and I am not crazy.
Not only that, but the mattress weighs about a million pounds, and sits inside the platform, so that changing the fitted sheet is akin to a strenuous gym workout. Just lifting the mattress is ridiculous. Once, while lifting the corner, I felt the fabric tear, on the underside of the mattress.

My mom kept telling me how expensive the mattress was, that it was a really good mattress. I can't lie; it's super cushy and comfortable, but the sagging is beyond annoying. I have propped it up under one side with books/magazines to even it out, but I can promise you I won't be spending my own money on an aireloom, when I am ready to replace this one.

Uncomfortable From Day 1
When we tried this bed in the store my husband felt very comfortable as soon as he laid on it. I felt like it was a little firm, but thought I could get use to it. From the first night it has been a nightmare for both of us. We are exhausted! My back, shoulders, hips ache. It has gotten so bad after two weeks I have gone to the spare bedroom. My husband is not sleeping well and it feels like only after two weeks there is already a body impression on his side of the bed. He feels that the bed sleeps hot. I have not noticed that yet. Very disappointed overall.

Saggin bed
Do not even think of buying an airloom bed. We bought one from Macys in Oceanside. It began to sag within about a month or two.
Made the mistake of waiting too long to call the company. You have 90 days. After that, they came out and agreed that it sagged , but since it wasn't over an inch and a half they would not take it back. Actually the bed sagged an inch and the box spring sagged another 1/2 inch which equals the 1 1/2 inches but since the box spring was involved they would not take it back. Macy's refused to help. We sold the bed less than a year later with over a $3000.00 loss.
My advice is do not get involved with Airloom.

Failure to honor warranty
I purchased an Aireloom Mattress. The store that I bought it from no longer carries Aireloom. The inspector from the independent inspection company determined that the mattress failed. Originally, Linda Menzel from Aireloom wanted me to spend about $1420 to ship the mattress to California from New Jersey and back. When I pointed out that they had a plant in PA, Ms. Menzel stated that it would cost $620 to ship the mattress to and from PA.

When I accepted their offer to ship the mattress to PA, Aireloom wanted me to sign an agreement not to disparage as well as waive any future legal rights. After questioning Ms. Menzel, she stated that even if the mattress were defective when it was returned to me, I could not sue Aireloom. By adding the requirement of not to disparage and to waive all future rights, they violated the terms of their warranty and thus defrauded me.

In my opinion, Aireloom is a terrible company to deal with because they do not honor their warranty. If they did this to me, do you think they will treat you any differently?

Sagging, heat retention
I bought an aireloom mattress from OC mattress in Costa Mesa CA. Was told when I bought this that there was no memory foam, but alas this was untrue. After purchase I noticed heat retention and complained to the store and manufacturer. Found out that it contained 7% memory foam. After several months have noticed sagging and 'holes.'' Paid lots of money and disappointed. Would not recommend.

Sagging mattress
If you're researching a new mattress please read the above reviews and DO NOT buy an Aireloom product. Like the others above have written within weeks my wife and I found our new mattress to be forming deep depressions. We called Aireloom and they sent an inspector and the results were that the 'holes' were within expected body depressions. That's the last Aireloom I'll ever buy. Absolute junk.

Wanted to love you....
3 years ago my husband and I made the trek out to our local mattress retailer. We were buying two mattresses - one for personal use and the other for a duplex for our parents. Decided on two Sertas when at the last moment.....I spotted the Aireloom. I had to test it and I fell in love. It was the most comfortable bed I had ever tried! But alas, the honeymoon period ended and we were left with a mattress that had some serious sagging issues after only 3 years. Some might say that is a good life for a mattress but I have to point out the only two other mattresses we have purchased for personal use lasted at least 10 years each and with no sagging. We only replaced them because we wanted to try newer models. Aireloom - I wanted to love you! Love you for being handmade, being the cushiest bed on the showroom floor, for being the sexiest in looks and for being handmade in CA. Sorry but I can love you no more. Moving on to a new lover.

Poor value for price- sagging after 5 years
I wish I had ready reviews like these before spending over $3000 on our Aireloom in 2012. We expected this mattress to last 20-25 years. When we first got the mattress I couldn't have been more satisfied. It was firm, supportive and so good for my bad back recovering from surgery. Within a few months I noticed I was making a sag in the bed. I tried moving around in the bed more and that helped for a while but now my husband and I are so miserable sleeping in this bed that we can't wait to replace it. We have flipped it end to end but I'd rather return to an old fashioned innerspring mattress that I can flip over. It just makes sense that with more sleeping surface the mattress will last longer. I will for sure NEVER spend $3K on a mattress again.

Very good mattress
I have had a real problem with sciatica over the last couple of years. While this mattress has not prevented it, better body pressure distribution seems to have really helped. I don’t wake up in the AM tired and feeling achey.

Great mattress
Macy's was a pleasure to work with throughout and the mattress has been very comfortable so far.

Hip pain gone
We had been looking for a new mattress for over 2 years, and finally landed on the Airloom Hybrid. Already on the first night, I noticed when I woke up in the middle of the night, my hip and shoulder pain I would typically feel before I rolled to the other side was gone! This mattress really takes the pressure off.

Very disappointed in new mattress
I took my time to find the right bed for my needs and really liked the Aireloom Hybrid. When I returned to buy it, my salesperson was tied up with another customer so that allowed me a good half hour to lie on the bed to make sure it was the one for me. Within 2 weeks of owning the mattress I noticed it wasn't springing back into shape. I've only owned it a month now and it has such deep depressions from my body (and I'm only 5' tall and 115 lbs!) that it feels almost as uncomfortable as my old mattress and is hurting my back. I've informed the salesperson I worked with that I'll be returning this one and hoping she can find something that will work as well as I hoped the Aireloom would. Highly disappointed.

Luxury Plush
Tried this bed 3 times at Macy’s laid on it , sales women was great she recommended this bed I looked at a few in mac

Love this mattress!!!!
We tried 3 different mattresses in 3 months before picking this one. The others were either too firm or too soft, but this one was absolutely perfect. Plush, but with the right amount of support. Finally getting the best nights sleep. Waking up feeling rested, and not sore. If you are picky about your mattress, this is the one to try....you wont regret it.

SOOOO Comfortable!
Love this mattress, so comfortable, soft, best sleep in a long time.

Plush is the word !
Shopping for a new mattress had turned into a nightmare, between pop up stores and online beds in a box/bag I'd given up. Then I thought Macy's that were my parents would go. Our salesman was great listened to our needs and pointed us to several options, gave us the time we needed to decide. Delivery and set up was a breeze. Great mattress! ! Love it.

great mattress
Very comfortable, conforms to body for a comfortable night sleep. I have spinal problems and this has been a big help. It lets me toss and turn with no problems. I tried many mattress' in the store, and this one worked. The salesman was wonderful it took us 2 hours and many jumping from mattress to mattress, his patience was above and beyond.

The Best Sales Staff Around
My purchase could not have been accomplished without the help of the OUTSTANDING Members of the Macy's team in San Francisco at Union Square. Their care and attention to my unique needs and wishes got this very important purchase accomplished. Lili Spagnoletta helped me this time and with my previous mattress over 15 years ago. For this purchase she got her Customer Service Manager Lori to help secure financing options. They Really Care!

So comfortable!
We tested out this bed in the store and it was, by far, the most comfortable! We tried at least a dozen beds that were 5X the cost and this one was the best. The delivery was seamless and we can't wait to sleep on this tonight!

Very comfortable mattress!
Took a couple of days to get use too, since I was sleeping on a mattress over 20 years old. Now I love it, and would definitely recommend it. Also had great delivery service on a very hot day!

Great Mattress!!
It's firm and yet soft. Very comfortable! Great Buy!

Aireloom Sabrina firm king mattress
It’s been exactly one year since purchase. Have called for questionablydefect internally. Mattress sags on one side causing excessive backache for me yet other side is firm. My weight 215 lbs. we purchased for a it being firm and king size. Compared to a foam inner coil mattress purchased in 2003, now 2019, this mattress is better built and low indentation of body points on bed. For the Airloom, I have to wake up completely to turn over. Yet when testing was done on Airloom, it was visually different between side and what measurement that was taken only involved a string pulled taught across mattress and a card with lines drawn to distinguish body indentation. There wasn’t any weighted pressure on points where indents were to measure any foam or spring collapse. I have now received letter from company I purchased from saying it meets standards under warranty. I’m doing a follow up for better practices to measure internal, not visual, of mattress. Over $4000 spent with less than 1 year of use. My queen foam/coil mattress after 16 years outperforms the Airloom and my back doesn’t hurt.

worst customer service
I have owned my Aireloom mattress for about 11 years. I called and emailed customer service and never received an answer. After 3 weeks of trying, I finally reached someone who was extremely rude. I weigh 110 pounds and the indentation of my body is so deep that I can't move at night. When I asked if they have any kind of warranty they said they can't guaranty anything, without asking what the problem is. I would not suggest purchasing this procuct

$5000 Mistake - worst mattress I have ever experienced and even worse customer service
I really wanted to love my AIRLOOM CORONADO mattress. I wanted to support the local California business and own a handcrafted bed. But what happened is that I wasted $5000 and now have a giant piece of trash in my bedroom that I have to dispose of. After only 4 months, I noticed the mattress was starting to sag but I didn't despair because the mattress has a warranty. But this is just a scam because it took multiple phone calls and emails to get Airloom to send out a mattress inspector. This inspector makes all the movements of performing an inspection, taking measurements and photos. But, in the end, Airloom does nothing. Like other unfortunate customers, I will be returning to the mattress store to purchase something with a better reputation.

Lower Back Pain
It's disappointing how the quality of this mattress doesn't match its price. This mattress sags and has given my husband and I lower back problems. I didn't realize how the bed was causing my lower back problems until I had to travel for work a few weeks ago and the very first night back, my lower back pain started again. We've also attempted to rule out other problems (sleep with pillow support between knees when sleeping on the side, sleep without a pillow when sleeping on back, put a small pillow underneath knees when sleeping on back) to no avail. My husband and I have gone to chiropractors for alignments, yet the lower back problems persist; we've concluded that the issue is the bed and have already ordered a new mattress from another provider. Good riddance!

Laguna
Worst mattress ever for the money. The tufted buttons make it very uncomfortable.

High cost with increased back pain
Bought this very expensive mattress, first year I slept with no back pain of which I have a chronic back issue.past two years they have been out twice...1.5 inch dips which I am told on a $4000 bed is acceptable..acceptable to who.. severe back pain with no choices now. Very disappointed...

Nightmare Mattress
I went to the store to purchase the Serta Fusion Hybrid, the salesman recommended this mattress. It was a few hundred dollars more than the Serta so that convinced me it was better. The worst mattress ever, it slumps and does not bounce back when you get out of bed. In the mornings I feel like someone took a bat to me over night. It was so horrible I had to move into my guest room because Macy’s was closed due to the pandemic. I was happy when I was able to return this terrible mattress. I would never recommend it.

Comfortable Hybrid!
Unlike the last mattress I bought, this hybrid is really comfortable. It’s a very nice quality with a long term potential. It’s been exactly a month since it was delivered and I have no complaints. The adjustable base was a great bonus add on. I am very happy.

Love it!
Love this!!! It is so comfortable! The plush is the perfect balance of firmness and softness for comfort and support!

Very comfortable
It's always hard buying a new matress. This one was comfortable right away. It only took a week to get used to. It is not that thick so your not wrestling with sheets, and it's easy to rotate, and you don't need a step stool to get into bed. It is a bit expensive so I hope it lasts longer than the 7 years my sterns and foster.

Very nice mattress
My husband is an Iron worker and he has a lot of back pain so when he tried this mattress he woke up feeling great, the only think he says that is a little t soft which it was firmer but a really nice mattress.

Very Plush!
I have really enjoyed this mattress! It’s the best nights sleep that i have had in years. The mattress is plush, and it not too soft or too hard. It is just right!!! I look forward to getting kin the bed now!

Best mattress in 28 years!
My husband and I have bought 4 mattresses in the course of our marriage. This is the best one we have ever bought. We have had issues with hip and back pain, but we have no issues with any more sleeping with this mattress. We did buy the higher boxspring, which is slightly high for us ( I’m 5’6”) The delivery men were excellent! They were on time and took our old mattress away. They set up our mattress and were done in 20 minutes. Would definitely use Macy’s again!

Very good mattress
I have had a real problem with sciatica over the last couple of years. While this mattress has not prevented it, better body pressure distribution seems to have really helped. I don’t wake up in the AM tired and feeling achey.

It's great
My husband and I were not sure if we would like the new mattress but turns out it's perfect. We are sleeping better and loving the new memory foam. Thanks for the help R&F

Wonderful mattress!
We were a little scared to change from a mattress with springs to the new memory foam. WOW, what a great choice though. The memory foam conforms to your body and is so comfortable. The aches and pain of growing older have disappeared when sleeping on this mattress. It just supports your every need when you sleep. Would buy this mattress again in a minute after using it! Thank You Raymour and Flanigan

My mother bought a mattress...
My mother bought a mattress 1 and half years ago. They came out, checked the mattress, told her she wasn't getting a new one cause she sweat on the mattress. Only took pictures of where she sweat which was one spot, it's not like they are going to resell the mattress. And they should correct the guarantee that if you sweat don't call us. Some guarantee they have. They didn't even check that the mattress was sunk in on both sides. When I sat on it I fell in it. And we have rotated the mattress. I will never buy from them again and I will tell all my family and friends as well. Thanks for nothing Raymour and Flanigan.

I am writing to this hoping someone on top...
I am writing to this hoping someone on top will hear me out and re-consider the sales tactics. Your employees are salesman, not doctors. Customer knows best. After 9 wonderful years of having my 'firm' bed from Sleepy's it was time for a new bed. I would have returned to Sleepy's for my mattress needs, but they closed down their Waterbury, Ct. location. And so, because I had done business with R&F in the past with furniture, I thought I'd try buying a mattress from R&F.

Now from my sleeping experience, which is above all other professional bedding experiences, I was determined on getting me another 'firm' bed. Who knows my back more than my back? So I walk into the Waterbury Location and immediately I was approached by a sales rep. I told her that I am looking for a mattress. As we walked to the back of the store, she asked what type of mattress I had in mind and I told her a firm mattress. She then begins to ask me what side do I sleep on? I told her that I am a side sleeper. She then said, that for a side sleeper plush is the recommended mattress. I told her well thats against everything I believe in. I then told her, that I walked into R&F with my mind set on buying a firm mattress due to my previous mattress experience. She has me try out two plush queen beds.

One was too soft, but the other at the time felt like it may have been what I needed. She says, I'll give you 15 minutes on the mattress and I'll come back to see what you think. She comes back to what felt more like 10 minutes and asked what did I think. (I now know a mattress decision takes way more than 15 minutes.) I told her the mattress does seem that it will do the job. Plus, hearing all she had to say about plush being for side sleepers made me feel like I may have been wrong with my own idea of a firm bed. Even a manager came by to help me understand that side sleepers use plush. He even stated, 'firm is one of the most returned mattresses.' They also convinced me to buy the platinum warranty just in case it doesn't work out. I make the deal. What a regret!

I should of listen to my body! The bed arrives and my first night on it was great! But on the 3rd day, I woke up with with a stinging feeling on my hip side. I went back to R&F and spoke with the manager and he said, it may be that my body is adjusting to the bed and that I should give it more time because I have platinum coverage. I leave thinking he may be right about me adjusting, so I go back home. But I now see, more time sleeping in a bed that wasn't for me wasn't good advice, medically speaking. Even a healthy back can get harmed sleeping on a bad mattress. The manager who said I should give it more time was really saying to me, leave the knife in your hip some more, I'm sure your body will adjust. What ridiculous advice from him having no medical background, and stupid on my end to have listened! About a week later with sleepless nights and painful mornings, I wake up in tears and in much more pain.

Now, I went back to the Waterbury location. I see the same saleswoman and I tell her please get me out of this bed. She says, she's gonna get the manager. I think his name was Jim. I don't know what was with Jim that day, but he would not listen to my experience with this plush bed. It seemed as if he was upset that I was exchanging my bed and would not give me his ear. I wanted to give him my reasons on this whole plush idea for side sleepers may not be for EVERYONE. I wanted to tell him my experience on this plush bed and that maybe what is recommended may not apply to all customers. (During my research on mattresses, I read an article that strongly agrees that firm bed is for side sleepers) But seeing that Jim was acting irritated and insensitive to me, I felt so offended that I left pissed off out of the store and made a complaint to the customer care department of R&F on the manager of the Waterbury, Connecticut location.

Hours after walking out. I received a call from Newington, Ct R&F. The manager tells me that he heard through the district manager that I needed help exchanging my mattress and that he wanted to help me out only if I come to the Newington location. I wasn't too happy about the half hour drive there, but I really needed this issue to be resolved and was willing to invest my own time. The manager there was awesome. He heard me out and even agreed with me that the plush idea for the kind of built size of a man I am wasn't a good bed referral. A Firm mattress should of been recommended, due to my size and previous experience with a firm mattress.

I also expressed to him that I had wished I made the first decision or first mistake on my bed and not R&F. I felt now my warranty will be used up on what I believe was R&F fault by not listening to me before the initial sale, and the complaints after the sale. He told me not to worry. He will waive the 95.00 delivery fee and make this sale like a first time sale. But that if I don't like the new firm mattress, then I would have to pay the 95.00 for delivery. I agreed. I was very happy to know I finally am going to get some real sleep... not so fast!!

Here's the topper!! The second bed arrives. The delivery guys begin moving the bed out of the truck. One of the guys is out of the truck and the other is inside the truck sliding the bed out. When the bed was about to exit the truck, the guy inside the truck lets the bed drop to the ground. The bed bends at the corner due to the impact. I immediately said to the guy, 'Hey!, thats a thousand dollar bed and you shouldn't of done that. And especially in front of the customer, me!' I asked the other delivery guy in Spanish, because he knew little English, what happens if I reject this bed and don't sign because I seen the way my product was handled and now I'm concerned it may have been damaged? He replied, 'It'll be ok. You should see how we handle them at our warehouse.'

I was shocked that he said that, but at the same time I thought maybe the beds can handle such abuse so why fuss for another one. My new mattress is gonna get abused at the warehouse, like the driver said, before I even see it anyways. They put the bed down, I inspect it and lo and behold!! Now, theres a visible hump in the middle of the bed and a slope on the top corner of the bed where the driver let the bed drop. Complaint was filed again on the drivers handling of my product and his remark about how they handle all other mattresses at the warehouse. Finally, I am hoping this matter falls in the right hands and that I am dealt with immediately. I will be continuing my complaint until I am heard. If not, I will do whatever it takes so that I am heard.

**Update** 08/12/17 A foam mattress was selected and extremely discounted due to my awful experience with R&F. Two months later the foam mattress is not holding up. It feels like a plush foam now. My hip pain is still there. Very uncomfortable at night with both the bed failing to support me and also my hip waking me up at night. For the record, I've never had a left side hip issue. I hope there is no long term damage done to my hip. My advice stay away from this company. Their sales tactics is too aggressive, especially on a product that takes time to make a decision on. They're after your pockets with their aggressive sales tactics, and not after your well deserved beauty rest. I recommend going to an all mattress store next time.

After purchasing a mattress...
After purchasing a mattress from the Raymour and Flanigan Store in Brick, NJ it was delivered with a fee to my residence. After sleeping on the mattress I began to get suspicious of the mattress I received. It did not seem to be the ultra firm mattress I purchased at the store. After researching my bill and the tag on the mattress I was able to confirm that the mattress was indeed not the one that I purchased! In fact it was a totally different brand.

I went to the store that I purchased the mattress at in Brick, NJ to discuss the problem. Come to find out they said that they don't even sell that brand mattress that I received upon delivery to my house. So they basically told me that I might have switched up the mattresses and tried to scam them! They were unwilling to give me any compensation and the accusation that I was trying to scam them is ridiculous! Lesson learned DO NOT BUY FROM RAYMOUR AND FLANIGAN!!!

Bellanest Queen Mattress
I am an Interior Designer. I ordered this mattress for a rental house in Southampton. This is a mattress that will last. It is firm however the top is cushioned and soft-- without a pillow top! I find that pillow tops tend to sag or loose their plumpness ( usually on one side) pretty quickly so I never buy them. It is a high mattress so make sure you measure how high you want your bed to be. Go with the 5" box spring and if you need it lower go with a Bunkie board.

Very comfortable
I need a firm support, but also have a 5" memory foam from my previous bed on top. The combination of the two works best for me. The pillow tops do not offer me enough firmness. I am very happy after 5 days.

The original
The original box spring ordered was too big; the team from R&F returned the following day with a replacement.

Very Comfortable Firm Mattress
We purchased this recently for a spare bedroom in our home. It's been used by guests of ours and the tell us how much they like it and how comfortable it is. We are very pleased with our purchase!

sleep heaven
I sleep on this every night, and i'ts very comfortable. It was worth the money.

Quality lower cost option
We need a bed for our guest room. Because my mother-in-law will be using it has to be comfortable but will not be an every day bed. This fits the description for us. We got it on sale for $500 and at that price it is a steal. Great for the price.

Probably the best bed I ever had
Finally a bed I can enjoy to sleep in. Exact firmness I’ve always wanted and the height ratio is solid

Terrific
Great mattress and great company to deal with. Delivery and set up and removal was so great and fast.

Extremely satisfied
This mattress is amazing is like sleeping on clouds if there were such a thing.....

Definitely Recommend!!
I am truly in love with our new mattress. Previously I owned a plush mattress but my husband and I experienced lower back discomfort and tightness in the morning. We decided it was time for a change and that we needed something more firm. We tried out 5 mattresses in the store within our price range and decided to purchase the Bellanest Imperial Firm King Mattress. We could not be happier, it is the perfect amount of firm for us and we no longer wake up with lower back pain. Also as first time owners of a king bed we are loving all the extra room. This mattress was a great find at a good price, and I absolutely reccomend it to anyone looking to switch from plush to firm for extra support.

Wooo
Wooo This is the mattress that I need to sleep the whole day. Delivery and attention in Raymond and Flanigan is the best experience ever!!

Good
So far I believe it may have being too firm for my wife as she is saying her back hurts. For me is ok no problems at all. After all for me is an ok matres.

Excellent
Very nice. Bit more in height than old mattress. Having a disability, little harder getting on it. My shoulder & neck pain is 90% less now in the morning. For the on sale price&comfort, it's great!

Great for my back pain
Great mattress for my back pain. Very comfortable after a hard day of work. My wife neighbors came over and laid on it and tested it out. They will now head over to Raymour and Flanigan to purchase the same mattress. One of my neighbor bought the bedroom set this mattress was sitting on in the store now she's going to go back and get the mattress and box spring for the complete set.

Very comfortable
Very comfortable and helped me sleep through the night!! No more back pain!!!

Just in love
Just in love with these mattresses it is so comfortable I bought a queen size for myself and this full size for the guest room. So far it is doing wonders I just don't want to leave my bed in the mornings it was indeed a great buy.

This mattress
This mattress is a little too firm for me. I would like to have had it a little softener. Thank you for your prompt service.

I just received my mattress. Right now I have mixed feelings about it. The majority of my life I have always slept on a super firm mattress. This is the first new mattress I'm sleeping on in over 10 years. I selected the Bellanest Firm but it does not feel firm. Not exactly soft but not really firm. It is nice, well made and I have no problem falling asleep. I'm getting use to it. I'm happy to have a well made new mattress. The Raymour and Flanigan sales person was very helpful. I would not describe this mattress as firm. A bit cushy.

Return and Customer Service Lacking, Quality of Products Spotty
I purchased a mattress at R&F. It was rock hard. Also, the base for the mattress was delivered with a faulty electrical control box. I contacted R&F to return the product, only to learn that R&F had a no return policy (which was not articulated to me by the salesperson). I was told that I had to wait 30 days to exchange the mattress. So, I had to either sleep on the rock hard mattress for a month and damage my lower back or sleep on a different bed. I told the manager of the store that the bed was not close to the one I tested in the store. He told be the demo beds in their showroom were beaten up, and they couldn't be relied on to know how soft or firm the actual beds would be that are delivered to the home. I described the factory defect with the base, and was told that usually customers are forces to have the base manufacturer (reverie) service their own products an R&F doesn't get involved, but he would make an exception and replace the defective base I received when I switched out the mattress. R&F sells the lowest model of the reverie base with their beds. These bases are very cheap, and R&F does not back them up. Instead, they refer customers to reverie for service. Reverie's customer service is extremely slow, and their reps do not have basic knowledge of the products. So, if you buy a bed from R&F you should plan on replacing the base in short order, or sign on to endless negotiations to get the base repaired. So, about 2 weeks after receiving my "new" bed from R&F I am stuck with a broken base and a concrete slab to sleep on. R&F refuses to address the problem until another 2 weeks passes (even though they delivered a defective base to my home and a bed that is not even close to the one I tested in their showroom). Classic bait and switch. In the meantime, I am sleeping on an old bed in a spare room and storing their defective products. I only have the manager's promise to replace the base and approve the switching out of the mattress in a week. If the next mattress turns out to be different than the beat up ones in their showroom, I am stuck. By far the worst experience I have ever had with a purchase of a bed. Also the most expensive bed I ever bought, close to $4000 and counting so far. Basically money and time wasted. My last rodeo with R&F.

worst mattress ever
I bought this mattress for a new apartment we were building we just moved in 2 weeks ago, we can not get a decent night sleep on it, its hard as a rock and not at all like the one we tried in teh store, upon going to the store, we were told since we didn't buy a mattress protector(which is a scam as we weren't offered any to buy or even say we didn't want it, they wont do anything the mattress is hard as a rock, they all lie when they tell you you can try it out and the if you do not like it they will retirn , so much for their 5 year warrantee, do not ever trust this chain

Only as a last resort
It is now 1 year since we purchased a brand new king sized mattress and adjustable bed frame from R&F. We did purchase the Platinum Protection Plan. The purchase process was good but since that day, all downhill. First, the assembly and installation of the bed frame was bad. The assembly was done wrong which resulted in the bed frame being stuck with the head and feet positions elevated. 136 minute wait on the Platinum Protection service line before I gave up and called Reverie. They instructed me on how to lower the bed, re-program the remote which then identified the problem as a bad remote. Since it was just installed I had to go back to R&F. Called service again and was told to expect a call within 48 hours. Nothing. Called the store and received a call back at the end of the day. A new bed frame was going to be delivered. Wow, great (or I thought). Bed frame delivered and assembly team identified that the first frame was assembled wrong. New frame in and all good, well only for so long. This weekend when I tried to raise the head of the frame, no response from the remote. Changed the battery and still nothing. Crawled under the bed to go through the re-pairing process and noticed that the control box light was off. Tried calling R&F as we have a Platinum Service contract. Got voice mail and left a message. After my last experience, called Reverie customer support and left a message there. Reverie called back a few hours later, walked me through some trouble shooting and their first thought is a failed control box. Now per the R&F Platinum Service agreement, that gives me a new bed frame. Let's see if R&F ever calls back. Reverie however is sending me a new control box (they were willing to have a service technician come to the house but given COVID and the Pandemic, trying to avoid unnecessary people in our home) and I will install myself. Now I have to figure out how to get my money back from R&F on the Platinum Protection Program as it is a waste.

Sleeping a a Rock Bed. with a black grease stain
Don't buy here....mattresses are defective and dirty...box springs don't match

Sold us floor sample black mattress, told us it was top of the line, said they changed them on the floor every six months!
We bought the mattress 2/2/20. This mattress has broken down so bad that we both have pains from base of spine running down our legs! Wheat on vacation and stayed at the marriott for two weeks. All the pain went away. Came back sleep one night on mattress and all the pain is back. Paid over $1200 and there is no returns! Granted we did buy a floor sample, but it was the best mattress in the place, so we were told. 1 1/2 yrs later it is no good. The quality of there mattress is so bad and we are out $1200 for I would say 1 yr of good sleep and then the deterioration started. DON’T BUY THERE MATTRESSES,
