Aireloom is a brand of California based E.S. Kluft & Company that is sold exclusively in mattress retailers across the US. Its claim to fame is their patented 'Aireloom lift' that increases the areas of low pressure when one is laying on the mattress. This gives the sense that the bed is cradling you. However, there are common complaints about some offerings' durability with some claiming sagging issues with some models. Additionally, price is a potential issue with the brand as their prices are much higher than other competitors.
Hampton and Rhodes is a brand of mattress retailer Mattress Firm, which owns west coast mattress retailer Sleep Train. This mattress is their economical counterpart to the normal name brand mattresses that cost more. One of their more popular products is the 'Aruba' hybrid mattress that comes with 7 layers of cooling and comfort foam, and a second layer of pocketed springs with a 'sale' price point of $599. That said, where you get value, you don't get detailed information on where the mattress was made or the specifics of the material.
Based on our aggregated reviews and our scoring method, we recommend Hampton And Rhodes in this match up!

Some customers felt very comfortable with their new mattress, but others couldn't get comfy. Despite those that are completely satisfied, this brand has lower sleeper satisfaction scores than the average. Research on below for more specifics on whether this mattress will work for you.
Most customers experience these mattresses to be supportive, which means they help keep the back aligned in conjunction with their firmness level. That said, there are a few negative reviews from customers, so make sure that the mattress specs align to your body and sleeping position.
Overall, most customers report these mattresses as having satisfactory edge support, which means most don't experience a noticeable depression when rolling towards the side of the mattress.
Bowling Ball & Density Tests
In tests of the mattress density evenness and firmness, the support across the surface is solid and even. That said, some reviewers describe rare support issues, so make sure it works for you before purchasing.
Everyone wants to find a mattress that will last over a decade, and when our mattress starts to hurt our backs after a few months, we feel swindled. However, now more than ever, it is getting harder to find lasting comfort. With more choices than ever, many companies are sacrificing quality to make a quick dollar. With these mattresses specifically, some reviewers had discomfort over a short period. Not every customer experiences durability problems, but do some extra reading to make sure that your choice works for your body.
Customers don't always feel good about these mattresses. Some sleepers were unhappy with the comfort, but others were really pleased. Although one of these may work great for you, because of the responses it is more difficult to estimate. Read on to learn more about the specifics to find out if these mattresses will work for you.
In terms of support, customers give these mattresses mixed reviews. Some have described them as supportive and report being comfortable, but others had poor comfort. If you have a heavier body type than average, you should do added research to make sure you find a match for you.
Edge support is an essential item for those that like to lay close the edge of their mattress without dipping or rolling off. Unfortunately, some may experience dipping while putting weight on the edges of these mattresses.
In addition to being comfortable, having a durable mattress is what shoppers are after. Everyone is hopeful in finding a bed that is just as comfortable ten years from now as it was day one. Sadly, not all sleepers agree that these mattresses are durable, and some have had issues with longevity after a short time. If you are considering using as your full time mattress, read over the specs and policies to make sure it will work for you.
BI have had my Rip Van Winkle Natural Dreams with Luxury Cashmere King bed for 12 years. Many could say that is a long life span however I would like to provide long term customer experience details. Extreme sagging from year 1. Called Sealy's where purchased and they came out and said natural use. Ridiculous. Offered me store credit of $1000 on a $5000 King Mattress.
2. This mattress is so darn heavy that it would take 3-4 strong adults to move it (I've moved 4 times in 12 years...everyone says it's the heaviest mattress to move)
3. After point 2 was made, can you imagine flipping and rotating this bed on your own? It takes 2 adults and still is ridiculous.
4. In addition to sagging it forms to your body so to speak so after 3 years it has looked like a body shape of a 200 lb woman and hump in the middle and a less dented body shape of a 160lb man. This causes lots of cumbersome rotating & flippingwhich is very difficult.
5. I've reached my life span of a $5000 (price paid on sale) mattress with a 25 year warranty after 12 years.
6. I'm currently mattress shopping and can buy a new Sealy for 1/3 of the price and not care if lasts 5-7 years.
Bought a aireloom mattress 6 months ago from sit and sleep. Worst mattress I have ever owned. Sags so bad that I wake up with a backache every morning. Sis and sleep well not do a thing about it
My husband and I have never been so cozy comfortable. We have the split king with adjustable base.
I immediately was relieved from hip pain that I had from a fairly new Temperpedic mattress.
The only complaint we have is: WE DON'T WANT TO GET OUT OF BED IN THE MORNING.
We purchased our Aireloom Chantille Ultra Plush Euro Top Eastern King mattress from Mancini's in Mountain View, CA., Nov. 2012. What had sold us on spending $8101.00 on a mattress was that when we tested it in the showroom we did not feel the movement of our partner. For us, who are light sleepers, this is a major deal. Our body was supported and it was very comfortable. A bit too high for us, so we exchanged the tall box spring for one that was several inches shorter.
We received that mattress and straight away there was a problem. Not Mancini's problem, we would need to contact an independent inspector (Premier Inspection Services,LTD.), at our expense, to analyze the mattress and make a recommendation. He did, and basically said that the problem was in our head.
Here it is 2016 and the mattress still does not live up to the mattress that we tested in the showroom. The shape is trapezoidal, and we feel every movement that our partner makes. Rolling over, change in position, sneezing and coughing are all felt by the other.
We feel gypped and misled. How could we have been so stupid. We could have purchased a cheaper mattress and changed it out when it no longer was comfortable.
We initially bought a tempurpedic based on many recommendations. 30 days later and my back was an absolute mess. I could hardly move and I was at the chiropractor 6 times in 30 days. The chemical smell was horrible and I was sweating my butt off. My wife could not bear to sleep in it. I even had my kids jump on it to try to 'break it in'.
So, we went back to the store and the sales person was very helpful in assisting with the problems that we were having. My wife stumbled across the Aireloom mattresses and suggested I try it out. I fell in love with the support and comfort immediately. The price kind of scared me initially, but with 30 days of hell behind me, I was up for anything. I like the fact that there are many 'real' materials in this mattress and it is not a cookie cutter mattress made out of chemicals. The delivered the mattress promptly and our first night was heaven. Support, cool and comfort. We noticed immediately that when the two of us were in the middle of the bed, there was considerable sag to the mattress. I was kind of perplexed by this until I was on the floor playing with our dog and my wife and kids were horsing around in the bed. I noticed that there was significant flex in the box spring support slats when they were rolling around on the bed. Being an amish bed frame, the box is supported by 3/4 inch oak slats that run from side to side. I made up support blocks positioned under the slats in the middle of the bed and the problem was rectified. This bed is as comfortable today as it was the day we bought it.
This is so interesting....A couple of years ago, my mom gave me her brand new, Aireloom Hybrid Bamboo mattress as she decided to purchased a different size (mine is a queen). I live in an older building, and there is a place in my bedroom floor where it's uneven, so when I started to feel like I had to roll uphill to turn over in bed, I figured it was the floor, not the mattress; however, my handyman used his balance to show me that the floor underneath my bed is indeed level, which was so baffling to me, as I feel as though I am sleeping in a ditch when I am on my side of the bed.
I have a solid platform bed, with storage drawers, so it can't be chalked up to an unsteady base or bed frame. I stumbled upon this site accidentally this evening, while researching mattresses, and am now 100% convinced that my mattress is to blame, and I am not crazy.
Not only that, but the mattress weighs about a million pounds, and sits inside the platform, so that changing the fitted sheet is akin to a strenuous gym workout. Just lifting the mattress is ridiculous. Once, while lifting the corner, I felt the fabric tear, on the underside of the mattress.
My mom kept telling me how expensive the mattress was, that it was a really good mattress. I can't lie; it's super cushy and comfortable, but the sagging is beyond annoying. I have propped it up under one side with books/magazines to even it out, but I can promise you I won't be spending my own money on an aireloom, when I am ready to replace this one.
When we tried this bed in the store my husband felt very comfortable as soon as he laid on it. I felt like it was a little firm, but thought I could get use to it. From the first night it has been a nightmare for both of us. We are exhausted! My back, shoulders, hips ache. It has gotten so bad after two weeks I have gone to the spare bedroom. My husband is not sleeping well and it feels like only after two weeks there is already a body impression on his side of the bed. He feels that the bed sleeps hot. I have not noticed that yet. Very disappointed overall.
Do not even think of buying an airloom bed. We bought one from Macys in Oceanside. It began to sag within about a month or two.
Made the mistake of waiting too long to call the company. You have 90 days. After that, they came out and agreed that it sagged , but since it wasn't over an inch and a half they would not take it back. Actually the bed sagged an inch and the box spring sagged another 1/2 inch which equals the 1 1/2 inches but since the box spring was involved they would not take it back. Macy's refused to help. We sold the bed less than a year later with over a $3000.00 loss.
My advice is do not get involved with Airloom.
I purchased an Aireloom Mattress. The store that I bought it from no longer carries Aireloom. The inspector from the independent inspection company determined that the mattress failed. Originally, Linda Menzel from Aireloom wanted me to spend about $1420 to ship the mattress to California from New Jersey and back. When I pointed out that they had a plant in PA, Ms. Menzel stated that it would cost $620 to ship the mattress to and from PA.
When I accepted their offer to ship the mattress to PA, Aireloom wanted me to sign an agreement not to disparage as well as waive any future legal rights. After questioning Ms. Menzel, she stated that even if the mattress were defective when it was returned to me, I could not sue Aireloom. By adding the requirement of not to disparage and to waive all future rights, they violated the terms of their warranty and thus defrauded me.
In my opinion, Aireloom is a terrible company to deal with because they do not honor their warranty. If they did this to me, do you think they will treat you any differently?
I bought an aireloom mattress from OC mattress in Costa Mesa CA. Was told when I bought this that there was no memory foam, but alas this was untrue. After purchase I noticed heat retention and complained to the store and manufacturer. Found out that it contained 7% memory foam. After several months have noticed sagging and 'holes.'' Paid lots of money and disappointed. Would not recommend.
If you're researching a new mattress please read the above reviews and DO NOT buy an Aireloom product. Like the others above have written within weeks my wife and I found our new mattress to be forming deep depressions. We called Aireloom and they sent an inspector and the results were that the 'holes' were within expected body depressions. That's the last Aireloom I'll ever buy. Absolute junk.
3 years ago my husband and I made the trek out to our local mattress retailer. We were buying two mattresses - one for personal use and the other for a duplex for our parents. Decided on two Sertas when at the last moment.....I spotted the Aireloom. I had to test it and I fell in love. It was the most comfortable bed I had ever tried! But alas, the honeymoon period ended and we were left with a mattress that had some serious sagging issues after only 3 years. Some might say that is a good life for a mattress but I have to point out the only two other mattresses we have purchased for personal use lasted at least 10 years each and with no sagging. We only replaced them because we wanted to try newer models. Aireloom - I wanted to love you! Love you for being handmade, being the cushiest bed on the showroom floor, for being the sexiest in looks and for being handmade in CA. Sorry but I can love you no more. Moving on to a new lover.
I wish I had ready reviews like these before spending over $3000 on our Aireloom in 2012. We expected this mattress to last 20-25 years. When we first got the mattress I couldn't have been more satisfied. It was firm, supportive and so good for my bad back recovering from surgery. Within a few months I noticed I was making a sag in the bed. I tried moving around in the bed more and that helped for a while but now my husband and I are so miserable sleeping in this bed that we can't wait to replace it. We have flipped it end to end but I'd rather return to an old fashioned innerspring mattress that I can flip over. It just makes sense that with more sleeping surface the mattress will last longer. I will for sure NEVER spend $3K on a mattress again.
I have had a real problem with sciatica over the last couple of years. While this mattress has not prevented it, better body pressure distribution seems to have really helped. I don’t wake up in the AM tired and feeling achey.
Macy's was a pleasure to work with throughout and the mattress has been very comfortable so far.
We had been looking for a new mattress for over 2 years, and finally landed on the Airloom Hybrid. Already on the first night, I noticed when I woke up in the middle of the night, my hip and shoulder pain I would typically feel before I rolled to the other side was gone! This mattress really takes the pressure off.
I took my time to find the right bed for my needs and really liked the Aireloom Hybrid. When I returned to buy it, my salesperson was tied up with another customer so that allowed me a good half hour to lie on the bed to make sure it was the one for me. Within 2 weeks of owning the mattress I noticed it wasn't springing back into shape. I've only owned it a month now and it has such deep depressions from my body (and I'm only 5' tall and 115 lbs!) that it feels almost as uncomfortable as my old mattress and is hurting my back. I've informed the salesperson I worked with that I'll be returning this one and hoping she can find something that will work as well as I hoped the Aireloom would. Highly disappointed.
Tried this bed 3 times at Macy’s laid on it , sales women was great she recommended this bed I looked at a few in mac
We tried 3 different mattresses in 3 months before picking this one. The others were either too firm or too soft, but this one was absolutely perfect. Plush, but with the right amount of support. Finally getting the best nights sleep. Waking up feeling rested, and not sore. If you are picky about your mattress, this is the one to try....you wont regret it.
Love this mattress, so comfortable, soft, best sleep in a long time.
Shopping for a new mattress had turned into a nightmare, between pop up stores and online beds in a box/bag I'd given up. Then I thought Macy's that were my parents would go. Our salesman was great listened to our needs and pointed us to several options, gave us the time we needed to decide. Delivery and set up was a breeze. Great mattress! ! Love it.
Very comfortable, conforms to body for a comfortable night sleep. I have spinal problems and this has been a big help. It lets me toss and turn with no problems. I tried many mattress' in the store, and this one worked. The salesman was wonderful it took us 2 hours and many jumping from mattress to mattress, his patience was above and beyond.
My purchase could not have been accomplished without the help of the OUTSTANDING Members of the Macy's team in San Francisco at Union Square. Their care and attention to my unique needs and wishes got this very important purchase accomplished. Lili Spagnoletta helped me this time and with my previous mattress over 15 years ago. For this purchase she got her Customer Service Manager Lori to help secure financing options. They Really Care!
We tested out this bed in the store and it was, by far, the most comfortable! We tried at least a dozen beds that were 5X the cost and this one was the best. The delivery was seamless and we can't wait to sleep on this tonight!
Took a couple of days to get use too, since I was sleeping on a mattress over 20 years old. Now I love it, and would definitely recommend it. Also had great delivery service on a very hot day!
It's firm and yet soft. Very comfortable! Great Buy!
It’s been exactly one year since purchase. Have called for questionablydefect internally. Mattress sags on one side causing excessive backache for me yet other side is firm. My weight 215 lbs. we purchased for a it being firm and king size. Compared to a foam inner coil mattress purchased in 2003, now 2019, this mattress is better built and low indentation of body points on bed. For the Airloom, I have to wake up completely to turn over. Yet when testing was done on Airloom, it was visually different between side and what measurement that was taken only involved a string pulled taught across mattress and a card with lines drawn to distinguish body indentation. There wasn’t any weighted pressure on points where indents were to measure any foam or spring collapse. I have now received letter from company I purchased from saying it meets standards under warranty. I’m doing a follow up for better practices to measure internal, not visual, of mattress. Over $4000 spent with less than 1 year of use. My queen foam/coil mattress after 16 years outperforms the Airloom and my back doesn’t hurt.
I have owned my Aireloom mattress for about 11 years. I called and emailed customer service and never received an answer. After 3 weeks of trying, I finally reached someone who was extremely rude. I weigh 110 pounds and the indentation of my body is so deep that I can't move at night. When I asked if they have any kind of warranty they said they can't guaranty anything, without asking what the problem is. I would not suggest purchasing this procuct
I really wanted to love my AIRLOOM CORONADO mattress. I wanted to support the local California business and own a handcrafted bed. But what happened is that I wasted $5000 and now have a giant piece of trash in my bedroom that I have to dispose of. After only 4 months, I noticed the mattress was starting to sag but I didn't despair because the mattress has a warranty. But this is just a scam because it took multiple phone calls and emails to get Airloom to send out a mattress inspector. This inspector makes all the movements of performing an inspection, taking measurements and photos. But, in the end, Airloom does nothing. Like other unfortunate customers, I will be returning to the mattress store to purchase something with a better reputation.
It's disappointing how the quality of this mattress doesn't match its price. This mattress sags and has given my husband and I lower back problems. I didn't realize how the bed was causing my lower back problems until I had to travel for work a few weeks ago and the very first night back, my lower back pain started again. We've also attempted to rule out other problems (sleep with pillow support between knees when sleeping on the side, sleep without a pillow when sleeping on back, put a small pillow underneath knees when sleeping on back) to no avail. My husband and I have gone to chiropractors for alignments, yet the lower back problems persist; we've concluded that the issue is the bed and have already ordered a new mattress from another provider. Good riddance!
Worst mattress ever for the money. The tufted buttons make it very uncomfortable.
I bought this mattress about two weeks ago. I like to run, a lot, and my back was awfully sore. My doctor, Dr. Richard Nygaurd, recommended I get a new mattress. After careful consideration, I selecting this cooling memore foam mattress. It is literally amazing! I simply love it! Now, after my second night run, my back feels supported and happy! Four thumbs up!View More Reviews
Very good quality mattress. Better that I expected. Delivery was fast and fabulous. Great deal too. Very happy customer.
I have had this bed for almost a year and I can tell you with utmost certainty that although these prices are cheap it only reflects the condition of the bed. It has absolutely no padding, unless you want a bed that creaks every time you move around on it then I would not recommend buying this. I have to buy a topper to make it decent at best. not to mention their delivery was atrocious.
This is not a great mattress at all! It does not provide the support that one needs. This mattress should be marketed for a camper trailer or something similar. This is not something you would want to sleep on long tern nor is it something you would want your children or guests to sleep on. I would return it but there is a $75 return fee - and the mattress is not worth it. Lessoned learned. Period.
Purchased for our son. He loves it!! He said his bed was like sleeping on a cloud!
I received my mattress a couple days ago. I ordered it on the 11th and it got here on the 14th. It feels nice and cool, however, I wouldn't recommend this mattress to side sleepers. It's more on the firmer side than I expected. other than that, l it's a great mattress.
It's nice to get a good quality item for a fair price!! Very comfortable, so happy with this mattress!! And got it fast and Free delivery....WOW... Thank you!!!!
This mattress is a perfect medium! I feel so happy and at peace when I lay on it. I feel back pain going away. This is definitely money well spent!
I bought this a week ago. The delivery was fast and easy, and the mattress was even better. I have always wanted a gel mattress and I finally found one in reach. Thanks Mattress Firm!
Very pleased with comfort and value! Better than many higher priced mattresses!
i got the 8 inch cool gel memory foem matters. it is quite nice and the delivery was timely and easy.
This mattress comes in 2 parts. 1 is a base mattress that is hard as a rock. The second part is a squishy gel memory foam topper that is squishy and soft. So when you lay down you think oh this is comfortable but then you hit the concrete mattress below and realize that joy was briefly experienced.
I was very happy with this mattress for the first 6 months. After that it started sagging and after only 1 year is very uncomfortable.
Bought this mattress December 2017 and hubby and I are going to throwit out. There's a huge dip in the middle of the mattress and we are a tall and lean couple, not overweight at all. Lately I've been waking up with severe lower body pain and he's been waking up with an achy back. You're literally trying to keep your biddy from rolling into the middle all night long, whether you realize it or not. In tired of g fighting with this mattress. It's affecting my quality of life and I curse the day that I bought it.
I reviewed bed in a box for weeks,, I have always been a innerspring buyer until the springs are gone, tried a pillow top and had major back pain. I debated cause I weigh 200 pounds and didn't think it would hold my weight,,and went to the store to lay on them, firm, med, plush and plush was off the list it's like a pillow, they told me to go for a hybrid 10-14 inches the higher the better, but my budget was under 500.00 and this med firm was 399.00 great deal,it feels and looks like it should be in the thousands, after the plastic was taken off it expanded in seconds with very little smell and I sprayed it with disinfectant from other reviews,,it was a site to see right out of the Jetsons!!!! I love love my new bed,, only one down side you can't sit on the edge of the bed it sink's!!! ,so I sit in a chair to put shoes on now!!!
Let me start by saying that my son is home from college and we needed another bed since his is up with him. Not wanting to spend too too much on another bed we went with this mattress and the metal frame so he can store under it. He's always had back/neck problems and who knew that he's had the best night's sleep ever on THIS inexpensive mattress! He said it's too comfortable and he doesn't want to get out of bed! Ok now the BAD- when I cut the plastic to release the mattress from the 'tube' they'd shrunk it to, it exploded knocking me back to the wall!! Just like that dough that comes out of a can! It HURT too! But I had to laugh because I've never seen a mattress shipped rolled up before and was very skeptical. I survived. I'd caution this company to put a WARNING on the package because a small child or pet could really be hurt when this thing explodes out of the packaging. Great Value that's for sure.
I've been sleeping on the new mattress I purchased from Mattress Firm for three weeks now, and I have to say, I am super happy with this buy. I had gone to a local store to inquire about it, and while the sales agent wasn't able to show me the mattress because it's only sold on the company's website, I was able to get a sense of what to expect in firmness from the comparable floor samples. A few weeks later I bought the mattress, and it arrived very quickly. I was shopping around a lot because I'm on a budget, and I'm so glad I came across this mattress. Even with a much bigger budget I would choose the same one, I literally haven't slept so soundly in years, and this mattress is the reason for that!
The mattress was hard at first, but after a few days it became comfortable and soft.
Bought new. Has warranty but stains void warranty. Have pictures upon delivery had speckle stains while still sealed in plastic but stains prevent exchange or refund. Isnt a horrible mattress but can still feel springs. Sleeps well with 3+ inch gel topper but that means mattress itself is lacking. 4 out of 10
Very happy with this purchase. Would definitely recommend.
I bought this mattress a month ago and I'm glad I did very comfortable reasonably priced I will be making a purchase from them again
There is no memory foam in that mattress what so ever and I’m so upset
This mattress has been Fabulous! Comfortable with the right amount of support!
I was having trouble finding a new bed that wouldn't give me pain in the upper back at night. I decided to try this one and I am glad I did. I get a very comfortable sleep every night. No more back problem when I wake up for me.
My husband and I were moving into our first house together after being long distance so we weren’t together to pick out a mattress. We went to stores separately and both agreed that the Hybrid mattresses were our favorite! But boy, did they get pricey. I did some exploring online and came across this one for an unbeatable price! We heard a lot of horror stories about buying mattresses online but we just said whatever because to us it was just a mattress. It was delivered quickly and rolled up like a foam mattress which we were not expecting and made us nervous that it was going to be too thin. After opening it and letting it expand- we were in heaven!!! This mattress is just the perfect amount of firmness and comfiness. I think we would have picked this one out had we seen it in person in the store! We’ve had it for about 3 weeks now and it’s still in the same shape it was when it got here (no dips). This was such a great find and for taking a chance on an online mattress we are so pleased and wake up every morning saying how good we slept!
I had been shopping on line checking prices & to see what I wanted, I went into a local mattress firm & the sales guy said I couldn't get the mattress I saw on line locally and that wouldn't even be able to buy the one I saw on line because they couldn't ship it because no store local carried it. That wasn't the case at all I do feel bad for the local retailers because they just cant compete with the online prices. I was a little nervous purchasing something on line that I hadn't tested or tried out, I did go into a few local mattress stores and laid on this same type of mattress and was able to decide that a hybrid mattress was the one for me. Price was great, shipping was free, the only downside was I had to assemble the box spring myself but it wasn't too bad.
Was skeptical about buying without trying first but purchased based on positive reviews. Owned for two months now and very satisfied.
I bought this mattress online..that part was easy and the price was great...however the mattress has already sunk leaving the sides ( about 8 inches from edge) higher than rest of mattress..I also rotate this mattress every couple of months...and I followed the receiving instructions...if you have back and neck issues as I do, this is not the mattress for you.
Purchased this mattress about 3 months ago in a California King and was hesitant before trying it out in stores, but I had nothing to worry about. The mattress is true to size, true to color and design and is so soft! I have gotten my best night's sleep on this mattress (so do my 2 German Shepherds). The only complaint I have is that because it arrives rolled up, the corners of the mattress have never fully expanded and feel like they sink in, for this reason only I have exchanging it for a new one in hopes that it will expand fully like the rest of the bed. Other then that I am extremely happy and would recommend this mattress to anyone. Not too firm, not too soft it's perfect! Fits me, my boyfriend and both of my German Shepherds and could probably fit a 3rd one :)
Well purchased about a month ago and was somewhat apprehensive since I had not had the opportunity to try it out, but boy I was so happy with my experience and I would definitely recommend this mattress sleeping is wounderful I love it
When I and my husband decided we had enough of our hand me down mattress, we went to the Mattress Firm store to try different beds before deciding on one. The clerk at the store was wonderful and helped us determine what kind of mattress suited us. We definitely wanted a hybrid, since it has memory foam on top for comfort and a coil mattress on the bottom for support. The ones in the store lean more towards their higher end mattresses and we knew we did not want to finance. I had read the reviews on this mattress prior to us going into the store and asked if they had it in store, which they did not. We decided to gamble it and bought this without laying on it first. I am so thankful every morning we did. It’s so comfortable and molds to your body, but still offers support. We have never slept better!!
Bought this matress in 2015 and it still feels fantastic on my back. I had initially tired it without box springs but it is much better with the box springs. I will buy it again when the time comes. Shipping was great.
I bought this mattress online and paid under $300.00 during a July 4th sale in 2016....online. I went to the brick-and-mortar stores and tested out mattresses, looked into the pricing, the finance options. And I settled on this one. Talk about a major score!!! I am beyond pleased with this mattress. I fall asleep pretty much immediately, since I'm not tossing around trying to get comfortable. Not the case with my old mattress-- which required a foam mattress topper from the first night I slept on it, until I bought this new one. ( It was under another name that started with "A"!at the website, but was told the Trinidad was the same model. I also did not know Hampton and Roades was Mattress Firm's "house " brand, until a sales associate at one of the stores told me). It arrived at my door, rolled up in a box, which to me was a bit concerning at first. But, boy was I wrong! I highly recommend this mattress!!!!!
Me and my husband bought this mattress in the summer of 2015. Still amazing to this day. He is around 185 lbs and im 125 lbs. Every guest we have had over have asked us what mattress we have, it is so comfy. We do not like to sink into out mattress, this is the perfect amount of firm-ness.
We just got this mattress and it has by far exceeded our expectations. Very comfortable.
TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE BED!!!DO NOT BUY THIS BED!!!This bed was decent for about the 4 months I had it and it started to sink in. I'm the only person who sleeps on it and I'm not a heavy person 165 lbs. There should be no reason for the bed to sink like it has. I followed the receiving instructions to a T. Do not buy this bed if you have any back or neck issues. I wish I could take this bed back and a get it refunded. This is a huge regret buying this bed. Nice price is the only good thing I can say on this but cheap price cheap quality. Don't buy this mattress!!
I bought this a little more than two years ago and was just remarked this morning, for the umpteenth time, how much I love the mattress. My husband and I are amazed that we found it online for such an affordable price. We rotate as directed (quarter-turn) semi-regularly and have never experienced divets or sunken spots. It's still firm enough for him but soft enough for me --sleeps like a dream.
I am buying a second set for when I go home to my parents !!! I love this mattress.
I never thought I would buy a mattress on-line, but I'm glad I trusted the reviews. I really like this mattress. I have a permanent neck injury from a car accident. I am finally sleeping through the night and waking up in the morning without pain.
We were looking to get rid of my close to 15 year mattress but we were tight on money. We looked into buying a mattress in other stores, but it was so expensive. I came home and found Mattress Firm and this bed, but I was weary to buy without trying first. Let me tell you, the saying you get what you pay for is wrong when it comes to this bed. I am so happy this worked out so well. It is comfy, it is supportive in all the right places but still hugs you like you want a mattress to. Overall I am thrilled with this product and will continue to buy this product in the future! If you feel cautious about buying this as I was, do it! I promise you that you wont regret it!
