Aireloom

Aireloom is a brand of California based E.S. Kluft & Company that is sold exclusively in mattress retailers across the US. Its claim to fame is their patented 'Aireloom lift' that increases loft when one is laying on the mattress. This gives the sense that the bed is cradling you. However, there are common complaints about durability in some models with some claiming sagging issues. Additionally, price is a potential issue with the brand as their prices are much higher than other competitors.

Ethan Allen

Ethan Allen sells their own brand of hybrid and foam mattresses at their retail and online locations. At well over $1,000 for a queen, their prices are only competitive against high end name brands. They have multiple firmness options in their lineup and most customers have described their mattresses as comfortable. Some customers had issues with the durability of some of the mattresses.

Based on our aggregated reviews and our scoring method, we recommend Aireloom in this match up!

Aireloom's Owner Satisfaction

Making sense of customer reviews can be a powerful tool for shoppers. Customers, unfortunately, don't always enjoy these mattresses. Some are content with the feel and comfort level, but others are not so much. If you are contemplating ordering, see below for more specifics that may be helpful.

Aireloom's Supportiveness

Most customers experience these mattresses to be supportive, which means the support layers of the mattress help align the spine and work together with the softer comfort layers above. That said, there are some reports of support issues, so make sure to do research to align your pick with your sleeping position and body type.

Edge Support
Overall, these mattresses provide a good amount of edge support, which means most don't experience a noticeable depression when rolling towards the side of the mattress.

Bowling Ball & Density Tests
In density and bowling ball tests that measure even support throughout the mattress, the support across the surface is solid and even. However, some customers describe one-off support issues, so make sure to look at customer feedback before buying.

Aireloom's Durability

Durability is one of the most important attributes to finding a mattress. We all want to find a mattress that is just as cozy as it was day 1 on day 1001. Sadly, not everyone has experienced great durability with these mattresses specifically. If you are thinking about using this mattress nightly, read the reviews to make sure that it will match your body type before buying.

Ethan Allen's Owner Satisfaction

Not all customers report feeling good about these mattresses. Some sleepers were unhappy with the comfort, but others were really pleased. Although one of these may work great for you, because of the responses it is more difficult to estimate. Continue reading below to learn if one of these mattresses will work for you.

Ethan Allen's Supportiveness

Some have described these mattresses as being supportive, but some others have been dissatisfied. For those that are sensitive to support because of health reasons, take a look at the reviews to make sure the purchase fits you.

Edge Support
These mattresses have mixed reviews when it comes to edge support. Some find these mattresses to have even support, but others had issues with sagginess towards the sides.

Ethan Allen's Durability

These mattresses may not last as long as you'd hope. On a shorter than average basis, some sleepers have reported feel and durability issues. If you are larger or are looking for something supportive, these mattresses may provide good comfort initially, but make sure to brush up on the warranty and return policy before buying.

Disappointment For Sure
I have had my Rip Van Winkle Natural Dreams with Luxury Cashmere King bed for 12 years. Many could say that is a long life span however I would like to provide long term customer experience details. Extreme sagging from year 1. Called Sealy's where purchased and they came out and said natural use. Ridiculous. Offered me store credit of $1000 on a $5000 King Mattress.

2. This mattress is so darn heavy that it would take 3-4 strong adults to move it (I've moved 4 times in 12 years...everyone says it's the heaviest mattress to move)

3. After point 2 was made, can you imagine flipping and rotating this bed on your own? It takes 2 adults and still is ridiculous.

4. In addition to sagging it forms to your body so to speak so after 3 years it has looked like a body shape of a 200 lb woman and hump in the middle and a less dented body shape of a 160lb man. This causes lots of cumbersome rotating & flippingwhich is very difficult.

5. I've reached my life span of a $5000 (price paid on sale) mattress with a 25 year warranty after 12 years.

6. I'm currently mattress shopping and can buy a new Sealy for 1/3 of the price and not care if lasts 5-7 years.

Sagging Mattress
Bought a aireloom mattress 6 months ago from sit and sleep. Worst mattress I have ever owned. Sags so bad that I wake up with a backache every morning. Sis and sleep well not do a thing about it

BEST EVER - IMMEDIATE PAIN RELIEF - TOTAL COMFORT
My husband and I have never been so cozy comfortable. We have the split king with adjustable base.

I immediately was relieved from hip pain that I had from a fairly new Temperpedic mattress.

The only complaint we have is: WE DON'T WANT TO GET OUT OF BED IN THE MORNING.

aireloom mattress
We purchased our Aireloom Chantille Ultra Plush Euro Top Eastern King mattress from Mancini's in Mountain View, CA., Nov. 2012. What had sold us on spending $8101.00 on a mattress was that when we tested it in the showroom we did not feel the movement of our partner. For us, who are light sleepers, this is a major deal. Our body was supported and it was very comfortable. A bit too high for us, so we exchanged the tall box spring for one that was several inches shorter.
We received that mattress and straight away there was a problem. Not Mancini's problem, we would need to contact an independent inspector (Premier Inspection Services,LTD.), at our expense, to analyze the mattress and make a recommendation. He did, and basically said that the problem was in our head.
Here it is 2016 and the mattress still does not live up to the mattress that we tested in the showroom. The shape is trapezoidal, and we feel every movement that our partner makes. Rolling over, change in position, sneezing and coughing are all felt by the other.
We feel gypped and misled. How could we have been so stupid. We could have purchased a cheaper mattress and changed it out when it no longer was comfortable.

This is the best ever
We initially bought a tempurpedic based on many recommendations. 30 days later and my back was an absolute mess. I could hardly move and I was at the chiropractor 6 times in 30 days. The chemical smell was horrible and I was sweating my butt off. My wife could not bear to sleep in it. I even had my kids jump on it to try to 'break it in'.

So, we went back to the store and the sales person was very helpful in assisting with the problems that we were having. My wife stumbled across the Aireloom mattresses and suggested I try it out. I fell in love with the support and comfort immediately. The price kind of scared me initially, but with 30 days of hell behind me, I was up for anything. I like the fact that there are many 'real' materials in this mattress and it is not a cookie cutter mattress made out of chemicals. The delivered the mattress promptly and our first night was heaven. Support, cool and comfort. We noticed immediately that when the two of us were in the middle of the bed, there was considerable sag to the mattress. I was kind of perplexed by this until I was on the floor playing with our dog and my wife and kids were horsing around in the bed. I noticed that there was significant flex in the box spring support slats when they were rolling around on the bed. Being an amish bed frame, the box is supported by 3/4 inch oak slats that run from side to side. I made up support blocks positioned under the slats in the middle of the bed and the problem was rectified. This bed is as comfortable today as it was the day we bought it.

sagging mattress
This is so interesting....A couple of years ago, my mom gave me her brand new, Aireloom Hybrid Bamboo mattress as she decided to purchased a different size (mine is a queen). I live in an older building, and there is a place in my bedroom floor where it's uneven, so when I started to feel like I had to roll uphill to turn over in bed, I figured it was the floor, not the mattress; however, my handyman used his balance to show me that the floor underneath my bed is indeed level, which was so baffling to me, as I feel as though I am sleeping in a ditch when I am on my side of the bed.

I have a solid platform bed, with storage drawers, so it can't be chalked up to an unsteady base or bed frame. I stumbled upon this site accidentally this evening, while researching mattresses, and am now 100% convinced that my mattress is to blame, and I am not crazy.
Not only that, but the mattress weighs about a million pounds, and sits inside the platform, so that changing the fitted sheet is akin to a strenuous gym workout. Just lifting the mattress is ridiculous. Once, while lifting the corner, I felt the fabric tear, on the underside of the mattress.

My mom kept telling me how expensive the mattress was, that it was a really good mattress. I can't lie; it's super cushy and comfortable, but the sagging is beyond annoying. I have propped it up under one side with books/magazines to even it out, but I can promise you I won't be spending my own money on an aireloom, when I am ready to replace this one.

Uncomfortable From Day 1
When we tried this bed in the store my husband felt very comfortable as soon as he laid on it. I felt like it was a little firm, but thought I could get use to it. From the first night it has been a nightmare for both of us. We are exhausted! My back, shoulders, hips ache. It has gotten so bad after two weeks I have gone to the spare bedroom. My husband is not sleeping well and it feels like only after two weeks there is already a body impression on his side of the bed. He feels that the bed sleeps hot. I have not noticed that yet. Very disappointed overall.

Saggin bed
Do not even think of buying an airloom bed. We bought one from Macys in Oceanside. It began to sag within about a month or two.
Made the mistake of waiting too long to call the company. You have 90 days. After that, they came out and agreed that it sagged , but since it wasn't over an inch and a half they would not take it back. Actually the bed sagged an inch and the box spring sagged another 1/2 inch which equals the 1 1/2 inches but since the box spring was involved they would not take it back. Macy's refused to help. We sold the bed less than a year later with over a $3000.00 loss.
My advice is do not get involved with Airloom.

Failure to honor warranty
I purchased an Aireloom Mattress. The store that I bought it from no longer carries Aireloom. The inspector from the independent inspection company determined that the mattress failed. Originally, Linda Menzel from Aireloom wanted me to spend about $1420 to ship the mattress to California from New Jersey and back. When I pointed out that they had a plant in PA, Ms. Menzel stated that it would cost $620 to ship the mattress to and from PA.

When I accepted their offer to ship the mattress to PA, Aireloom wanted me to sign an agreement not to disparage as well as waive any future legal rights. After questioning Ms. Menzel, she stated that even if the mattress were defective when it was returned to me, I could not sue Aireloom. By adding the requirement of not to disparage and to waive all future rights, they violated the terms of their warranty and thus defrauded me.

In my opinion, Aireloom is a terrible company to deal with because they do not honor their warranty. If they did this to me, do you think they will treat you any differently?

Sagging, heat retention
I bought an aireloom mattress from OC mattress in Costa Mesa CA. Was told when I bought this that there was no memory foam, but alas this was untrue. After purchase I noticed heat retention and complained to the store and manufacturer. Found out that it contained 7% memory foam. After several months have noticed sagging and 'holes.'' Paid lots of money and disappointed. Would not recommend.

Sagging mattress
If you're researching a new mattress please read the above reviews and DO NOT buy an Aireloom product. Like the others above have written within weeks my wife and I found our new mattress to be forming deep depressions. We called Aireloom and they sent an inspector and the results were that the 'holes' were within expected body depressions. That's the last Aireloom I'll ever buy. Absolute junk.

Wanted to love you....
3 years ago my husband and I made the trek out to our local mattress retailer. We were buying two mattresses - one for personal use and the other for a duplex for our parents. Decided on two Sertas when at the last moment.....I spotted the Aireloom. I had to test it and I fell in love. It was the most comfortable bed I had ever tried! But alas, the honeymoon period ended and we were left with a mattress that had some serious sagging issues after only 3 years. Some might say that is a good life for a mattress but I have to point out the only two other mattresses we have purchased for personal use lasted at least 10 years each and with no sagging. We only replaced them because we wanted to try newer models. Aireloom - I wanted to love you! Love you for being handmade, being the cushiest bed on the showroom floor, for being the sexiest in looks and for being handmade in CA. Sorry but I can love you no more. Moving on to a new lover.

Poor value for price- sagging after 5 years
I wish I had ready reviews like these before spending over $3000 on our Aireloom in 2012. We expected this mattress to last 20-25 years. When we first got the mattress I couldn't have been more satisfied. It was firm, supportive and so good for my bad back recovering from surgery. Within a few months I noticed I was making a sag in the bed. I tried moving around in the bed more and that helped for a while but now my husband and I are so miserable sleeping in this bed that we can't wait to replace it. We have flipped it end to end but I'd rather return to an old fashioned innerspring mattress that I can flip over. It just makes sense that with more sleeping surface the mattress will last longer. I will for sure NEVER spend $3K on a mattress again.

Very good mattress
I have had a real problem with sciatica over the last couple of years. While this mattress has not prevented it, better body pressure distribution seems to have really helped. I don’t wake up in the AM tired and feeling achey.

Great mattress
Macy's was a pleasure to work with throughout and the mattress has been very comfortable so far.

Hip pain gone
We had been looking for a new mattress for over 2 years, and finally landed on the Airloom Hybrid. Already on the first night, I noticed when I woke up in the middle of the night, my hip and shoulder pain I would typically feel before I rolled to the other side was gone! This mattress really takes the pressure off.

Very disappointed in new mattress
I took my time to find the right bed for my needs and really liked the Aireloom Hybrid. When I returned to buy it, my salesperson was tied up with another customer so that allowed me a good half hour to lie on the bed to make sure it was the one for me. Within 2 weeks of owning the mattress I noticed it wasn't springing back into shape. I've only owned it a month now and it has such deep depressions from my body (and I'm only 5' tall and 115 lbs!) that it feels almost as uncomfortable as my old mattress and is hurting my back. I've informed the salesperson I worked with that I'll be returning this one and hoping she can find something that will work as well as I hoped the Aireloom would. Highly disappointed.

Luxury Plush
Tried this bed 3 times at Macy’s laid on it , sales women was great she recommended this bed I looked at a few in mac

Love this mattress!!!!
We tried 3 different mattresses in 3 months before picking this one. The others were either too firm or too soft, but this one was absolutely perfect. Plush, but with the right amount of support. Finally getting the best nights sleep. Waking up feeling rested, and not sore. If you are picky about your mattress, this is the one to try....you wont regret it.

SOOOO Comfortable!
Love this mattress, so comfortable, soft, best sleep in a long time.

Plush is the word !
Shopping for a new mattress had turned into a nightmare, between pop up stores and online beds in a box/bag I'd given up. Then I thought Macy's that were my parents would go. Our salesman was great listened to our needs and pointed us to several options, gave us the time we needed to decide. Delivery and set up was a breeze. Great mattress! ! Love it.

great mattress
Very comfortable, conforms to body for a comfortable night sleep. I have spinal problems and this has been a big help. It lets me toss and turn with no problems. I tried many mattress' in the store, and this one worked. The salesman was wonderful it took us 2 hours and many jumping from mattress to mattress, his patience was above and beyond.

The Best Sales Staff Around
My purchase could not have been accomplished without the help of the OUTSTANDING Members of the Macy's team in San Francisco at Union Square. Their care and attention to my unique needs and wishes got this very important purchase accomplished. Lili Spagnoletta helped me this time and with my previous mattress over 15 years ago. For this purchase she got her Customer Service Manager Lori to help secure financing options. They Really Care!

So comfortable!
We tested out this bed in the store and it was, by far, the most comfortable! We tried at least a dozen beds that were 5X the cost and this one was the best. The delivery was seamless and we can't wait to sleep on this tonight!

Very comfortable mattress!
Took a couple of days to get use too, since I was sleeping on a mattress over 20 years old. Now I love it, and would definitely recommend it. Also had great delivery service on a very hot day!

Great Mattress!!
It's firm and yet soft. Very comfortable! Great Buy!

Aireloom Sabrina firm king mattress
It’s been exactly one year since purchase. Have called for questionablydefect internally. Mattress sags on one side causing excessive backache for me yet other side is firm. My weight 215 lbs. we purchased for a it being firm and king size. Compared to a foam inner coil mattress purchased in 2003, now 2019, this mattress is better built and low indentation of body points on bed. For the Airloom, I have to wake up completely to turn over. Yet when testing was done on Airloom, it was visually different between side and what measurement that was taken only involved a string pulled taught across mattress and a card with lines drawn to distinguish body indentation. There wasn’t any weighted pressure on points where indents were to measure any foam or spring collapse. I have now received letter from company I purchased from saying it meets standards under warranty. I’m doing a follow up for better practices to measure internal, not visual, of mattress. Over $4000 spent with less than 1 year of use. My queen foam/coil mattress after 16 years outperforms the Airloom and my back doesn’t hurt.

worst customer service
I have owned my Aireloom mattress for about 11 years. I called and emailed customer service and never received an answer. After 3 weeks of trying, I finally reached someone who was extremely rude. I weigh 110 pounds and the indentation of my body is so deep that I can't move at night. When I asked if they have any kind of warranty they said they can't guaranty anything, without asking what the problem is. I would not suggest purchasing this procuct

$5000 Mistake - worst mattress I have ever experienced and even worse customer service
I really wanted to love my AIRLOOM CORONADO mattress. I wanted to support the local California business and own a handcrafted bed. But what happened is that I wasted $5000 and now have a giant piece of trash in my bedroom that I have to dispose of. After only 4 months, I noticed the mattress was starting to sag but I didn't despair because the mattress has a warranty. But this is just a scam because it took multiple phone calls and emails to get Airloom to send out a mattress inspector. This inspector makes all the movements of performing an inspection, taking measurements and photos. But, in the end, Airloom does nothing. Like other unfortunate customers, I will be returning to the mattress store to purchase something with a better reputation.

Lower Back Pain
It's disappointing how the quality of this mattress doesn't match its price. This mattress sags and has given my husband and I lower back problems. I didn't realize how the bed was causing my lower back problems until I had to travel for work a few weeks ago and the very first night back, my lower back pain started again. We've also attempted to rule out other problems (sleep with pillow support between knees when sleeping on the side, sleep without a pillow when sleeping on back, put a small pillow underneath knees when sleeping on back) to no avail. My husband and I have gone to chiropractors for alignments, yet the lower back problems persist; we've concluded that the issue is the bed and have already ordered a new mattress from another provider. Good riddance!

Laguna
Worst mattress ever for the money. The tufted buttons make it very uncomfortable.

High cost with increased back pain
Bought this very expensive mattress, first year I slept with no back pain of which I have a chronic back issue.past two years they have been out twice...1.5 inch dips which I am told on a $4000 bed is acceptable..acceptable to who.. severe back pain with no choices now. Very disappointed...

Nightmare Mattress
I went to the store to purchase the Serta Fusion Hybrid, the salesman recommended this mattress. It was a few hundred dollars more than the Serta so that convinced me it was better. The worst mattress ever, it slumps and does not bounce back when you get out of bed. In the mornings I feel like someone took a bat to me over night. It was so horrible I had to move into my guest room because Macy’s was closed due to the pandemic. I was happy when I was able to return this terrible mattress. I would never recommend it.

Comfortable Hybrid!
Unlike the last mattress I bought, this hybrid is really comfortable. It’s a very nice quality with a long term potential. It’s been exactly a month since it was delivered and I have no complaints. The adjustable base was a great bonus add on. I am very happy.

Love it!
Love this!!! It is so comfortable! The plush is the perfect balance of firmness and softness for comfort and support!

Very comfortable
It's always hard buying a new matress. This one was comfortable right away. It only took a week to get used to. It is not that thick so your not wrestling with sheets, and it's easy to rotate, and you don't need a step stool to get into bed. It is a bit expensive so I hope it lasts longer than the 7 years my sterns and foster.

Very nice mattress
My husband is an Iron worker and he has a lot of back pain so when he tried this mattress he woke up feeling great, the only think he says that is a little t soft which it was firmer but a really nice mattress.

Very Plush!
I have really enjoyed this mattress! It’s the best nights sleep that i have had in years. The mattress is plush, and it not too soft or too hard. It is just right!!! I look forward to getting kin the bed now!

Best mattress in 28 years!
My husband and I have bought 4 mattresses in the course of our marriage. This is the best one we have ever bought. We have had issues with hip and back pain, but we have no issues with any more sleeping with this mattress. We did buy the higher boxspring, which is slightly high for us ( I’m 5’6”) The delivery men were excellent! They were on time and took our old mattress away. They set up our mattress and were done in 20 minutes. Would definitely use Macy’s again!

Very good mattress
I have had a real problem with sciatica over the last couple of years. While this mattress has not prevented it, better body pressure distribution seems to have really helped. I don’t wake up in the AM tired and feeling achey.

Like many people, a back ache prompted me to buy a new mattress
Like many people, a back ache prompted me to buy a new mattress. After much research, I selected a bed offered by Ethan Allen and was willing to drive a long distance to purchase it. When the bed arrived at the local warehouse, I was told there would be approximately 7-10 days for delivery to my home. My back ache and sleep were worsening so I called the store and asked if there was any way to expedite the delivery; I didn't expect this special service but tried anyway. To my surprise, the store manager cut some red tape and had my bed delivered in two days. The bed is great, sleep is great, back ache gone. Thank you, Ethan Allen.

I ordered a mattress and box spring
On 4/29/06, I ordered a mattress and box spring from Ethan Allen for $2,500. It was to last a lifetime. On 9/15/08, Ethan Allen replaced the set with the same item. Here it is, 1/2012, and the mattress sags so badly, I am forced to replace it again. What is my recourse with Ethan Allen for a partial rebate?

My husband and I purchased an Ethan Allen Bella Queen Mattress
My husband and I purchased an Ethan Allen Bella Queen Mattress Set about one year ago. The disappointment is almost unbelievable! It is as though this is NOT the same bed we tested in the store. My husband, in particular, wanted this style of bed - not too much padding, but still enough padding to be comfortable. I actually wanted a big pillow top. However, I did try the bed in the store and thought it was comfortable. Once it was delivered, WOW! We were BOTH disappointed immensely. The mattress is the comfort and quality of a mattress set priced at $500 to $600. We have a very old Ethan Allen mattress (20+ years) and it never caved in, but had very little padding as they were made then. We have rooms of furniture bought from them at that same time, and recently bought a 2nd bedroom set and are happy with the furniture that we bought then and now.

Worst Mattresses Ever
Worst Mattresses Ever! My wife and I used to love Ethan Allen. They had awesome designs that we loved. We decided to fully furnish our new house from them. Overall, we were happy with the result except for some issues that varied between annoying (minor) to outright unacceptable (major).

Minor issues: 1) The surface of the corner tables in the main living room were damaged because of the lamps that we put on them. The lamps were from Ethan Allen as well and they were equipped with some form of pads at the bottom to avoid scratching the surface. That pad actually stuck to the surface and when lifting up the lamp, the paint was pulled out from the surface! Needless to say, it was an expensive piece. It happened to both corner tables. 2) The main dresser and bedside small ones we bought for the master bedroom looked great. Except that after a while, the drawers won't open and close properly. When we contacted EA, they told us it must be because of the weather conditions of where we live (hot and humid, although the A/C is running all the time).

Major issue: The memory foam mattresses we bought (qty. 2) were the worst mattresses we ever slept on in our lives. And it wasn't only us; any guest who slept over in the guest room gave the same feedback. They are just horrible. They cause back pain and neck pain. They bulge and form valleys and mountains! Upon calling them, they advised us to give them some time to get used to them! We tried. We never got used to them - $4,000 down the drain. Do not buy mattresses from Ethan Allen.

Don't buy your mattresses from them
Don't buy your mattresses from them, they do not honor their warranty!!!

Ethan Allen's furniture designs
Ethan Allen's furniture designs are beautiful and of great quality. However, I am really disappointed in your service and will not return to furnish the rest of our home with your designs. Having spent a rather significant amount of money on furniture for our daughter's room, this past May, I am surprised that we are still waiting for her bed to arrive this October. The initial delivery was set for June. I took the day off of work to wait for the delivery at the set appointment time. An hour prior to delivery my husband was contacted that the bed arriving was damaged and a new one would need to be made but the rest of the furniture would be delivered. Since we had a delivery appointment for June and a delivery set, we made room for the new furniture. The new dresser, end tables and mirror were dropped off and our daughter's mattress was now on the floor. What was a one night situation, has now been 4 months. Today, you finally arrived to install her bed. My husband took the day off of work to meet the delivery. Too bad your team didn't bring the screws needed to install the headboard or the frame...REALLY? To even add more insult- your team said it was at the warehouse and would probably NOT make it back again today. We have taken two days off of work, had our daughter without a bed for 4 months and making it happen today was not even considered. So sorry Ethan Allen, we were inconveniencing you.

We have been buyers
We have been buyers of Ethan for a long time. Our entire apartment in NYC was furtnished by Ethan Allan. Our home in PA is mostly Ethan Allen as well. our last experience with KOP store was to buy a mattress for our Ethan Allen bed. The mattress turned out to be not of good quality. There are visible depressions on the mattress where we sleep. We called the store and their "technician" came by and opined that the depressions are not deep enough for the mattress to be covered under warranty. I will not buy anything from Ethan Allen any more, their warranty is worthless.

In November
In November, I was on the hunt for a good quality, nice looking, durable & comfortable sofa bed that could withstand the wrath of two young kids and a heavy husband when the wife snored too load. I went to many, many furniture stores throughout the bay area, including an initial visit here w/ Leda Lindsay. With all the research and browsing I did, I still ended up returning to Ethan Allen. I based it on the quality of what i was getting, along w/ the price (it was the last day of their sales event). I purchased the Bennett Queen Sleeper and air mattress w/ the Maxwell Nutmeg fabric. The quality of the sofa frame, mattress frame and fabric were evident. And Leda was very patient and answered many questions during both visits, even made herself available in-between other customers. I've had the sofa 6 months now. I'm very pleased w/ it and the performance of the fabric thus far. I would definitely recommend this sleeper sofa and fabric combination for anyone looking for a quality sofa bed w/ kids. Leda was a great help w/ my purchase decision.

We went in to check out mattresses
We went in to check out mattresses. The entrance is pretty formal so I checked in with reception. She to me to feel free to look around and that the sales lady would be right with us. It's set up like a bunch of rooms. You walk from one complete room to another. The sales lady showed me several mattresses and they had a lot of literature on each one. She seemed as though she wasn't very knowledgable about the beds but was more than willing to get the answers that she was unsure of. Unthinking he was just new. The produces are nice but it takes a month to get a new mattress.

Like many people
Like many people, a back ache prompted me to buy a new mattress. After much research, I selected a bed offered by Ethan Allen and was willing to drive a long distance to purchase it. Horrible
Horrible !! I'm Sorry for anyone who falls victim to these scammers . They sell used furniture as new . They tell you furniture Is new , But they sell you model of the show room floor . They sell used mattress . As new . If anyone has purchased a mattress from them and it is off white kind of yellow with a Malibu logo on it your mattress is used . Also the furniture they sell if partly defective or they by furniture from other manufactures show room floors that are used as sell as new the last thing I will say is this I witnessed them with my own eyes sell a couch and a mattress that somebody dropped off next to the store trash can to a customer that came in saying that they were in need of a couch and a mattress and then they had very little money and this is what they sold them. I refuse to deliver the couch and Mattress so how was fired two days later

Fantastic furniture
Fantastic furniture store with high end products at a very reasonable price. The thing I like about Ethan Furniture is that it's not a huge chain like "Living Spaces" so you'll get much more personalized service. Employees are very helpful and can answer any questions you have on their furniture. Great assortment of couches, tables, bed frames and much more. I ordered a couch set, dining room table, bed frame and mattress from them. They took care of the delivery and the delivery guys were very professional and put together the furniture pieces perfectly. I love the couch and take naps regularly on it! If you're looking for a quality furniture, exceptional service and a "one-stop-shop" experience, look no further than Ethan Furniture!

My wife and I spent thousands
My wife and I spent thousands of $$$ on our son's entire Ethan Allen bedroom set (Bed Frame, Headboard, Mattress, Night Table, Book Shelf Cabinet, Closet, and Desk w/ Shelves) from this location. Admittedly, that was several years ago but, considering the reason we bought it in the first place (name recognition) and what we actually got (poor quality), and the fact that I am continually reminded of the bad deal we got every time I look at it, try to fix the hardware (again and again), or see how easily the wood stains by anything put on it (it's painted white), I had to finally share my tale w/ the rest of those who spent a lot for subpar furniture. We certainly were misled by the brand name and gave up going back to the saleroom in trying to address our issues w/ the furniture.

Horrible
These are the worst mattresses I have ever purchased! To the tune of almost $4000! As a previous reviewer states, what is in the store is not what shows up to your house. The mattresses I received are queen but don't fill out the bedframes and are not as high as shown in the store. What I received looks like a $500 set from a discounter! After 8 months the mattress was indented an inch deep as verified by a "quality control" inspector from Ethan Allen. I was told by EA customer service that was far off from the 1 1/4" indent that was needed to replace the mattress! Are you kidding me?? Great customer service Ethan Allen! I have spent $40,000 there and will never step foot in EA again. I am out $4000 for junk and have to replace my mattress.

High Priced Mattress, Poor Quality
We purchased an EA hybrid 5 years ago and have been disappointed with 5his mattress for that last 4 years. Mattress was very comfortable for about a year and since then it has gradually lost support. Right now we are sleeping in two sink holes tha5 get deeper every day. The center of the mattress has a huge hump that I need to climb over to get to the other side of the bed, and the mattress looks like there is a mountain running down the center when the bed is made. This mattress is expensive, but is not durable. I didn’t waste my time trying to file a warranty complaint due to experiences I’ve had with poor customer service on another purchase.

Avoid Mattress Purchase
I sought out the Ethan Allen store in my neighbourhood for a mattress by Kingsdown, which they claim make their mattresses, and I chose a medium firm costly mattress. The experience of lying on it in the store was dramatically different than what I have been experiencing at home. While it is very firm, it places pressure on my hips, buttocks, shoulders, not giving to the contours of the body. Most important, Ethan Allen's policy for mattresses is that there is no option for trial or exchange or refund. This has been an unsettling experience.

EA S Plat PL King Mattress and Luna King Foundation Set
12/1/2022 - We purchased an Ethan Allen king mattress and foundation set because we thought it would be "QUALITY" like their furniture. W R O N G. I have never woken up with a backache like I do with this mattress. 1/2 of the time I sleep on a couch which is solid and firm and get a good nights sleep. We paid more for this mattress and foundation than any other mattress and it is the WORST ONE EVER!! After only 4 months or so - we had the Ethan Allen mattress expert come out and measure to see if it was defective. It was just shy of the mark to be returned and replaced. We have always had good luck with another brand but thought we were buying the BEST that there is!! WRONG. They are in the "expert" furniture making business - they surely are not in the category of expert in the mattress business -- that is if they even make their own mattresses. Bottom line - would we ever buy a mattress from Ethan Allen again....NO!!

terrible mattress
I bought this mattress in March to replace a 10 year old Kluft mattress. I read Consumer Reports reviews and it specifically spoke to my needs. However, as soon as we received the mattress I knew something was terrible wrong. The mattress sagged and had lumps. I now have neck aches and shoulder pain because of this mattress. I've had their quality control folks come out twice to evaluate. They measure and groan, but then I get a response from EA that nothing is wrong! Long story short, I'm taking this to next steps. My advice is to stay away from any EA mattress. The quality is terrible!!

Mattress sinks over short period of time
I would not recommend the mattress I purchased at Ethan Allen as it does not provide consistent support within a short time of the requisite life span of a mattress, especially at the price point. Particularly true in the middle of the mattress. As well, the store does not honor the warranty. Bought in Canada.

Doesn't Last
I bought the EA Signature Platinum because I have a bulging disc in my back with sever pain. The mattress was initially great, but after about a year, it's like sleeping in a trough. It now hurts my back just to lay in the bed. I'm extremely disappointed with this expensive purchase. I'm a small-framed woman. I was mislead by the reviews saying that only larger, heavier sleepers reported problems. This mattress does not support even a light-weight sleeper after 12-18 months.
