Aireloom is a brand of California based E.S. Kluft & Company that is sold exclusively in mattress retailers across the US. Its claim to fame is their patented 'Aireloom lift' that increases the areas of low pressure when one is laying on the mattress. This gives the sense that the bed is cradling you. However, there are common complaints about some offerings' durability with some claiming sagging issues with some models. Additionally, price is a potential issue with the brand as their prices are much higher than other competitors.

Some are content with the feel and comfort level, but others are not so much. If you are considering purchasing, make sure to get more information below.
Reviewers describe these mattresses as being supportive overall. Though some folks doen't like the firmness of these mattresses, the majority of folks feel like there is the right amount of support for their bodies.
Edge support is very important for folks that face mobility issues or roll towards the edge of the mattress at night. These mattresses do well overall on edge support and they should do well for most customers.
Bowling Ball & Density Tests
The bowling ball test is a nice way to measure mattress firmness and support. These mattresses provide above average evenness in support across the surface, which means they will do well with your hips and shoulders.
We all want a mattress that is going to last over a decade, and when we instead buy a mattress that causes us discomfort after only a year, we feel cheated. However, now more than ever, it is getting harder to find lasting comfort. With more choices for us than ever, some brands aren't always investing in quality. With these mattresses specifically, some reviewers had discomfort over a short period. Not every customer experiences durability problems, but do some extra reading to make sure that your choice works for your body.
Most sleepers give these mattresses good marks for satisfaction. This means that most customers give this brand positive reviews, but there are some caveats. There are some customers that disagreed with the comfort. Learn more about the specifics of these mattresses below!
These mattresses aren't ideal for everyone in terms of their support. Though there are those that like what these mattresses offer them, others have had issues with alignment long term. If you are considering these mattresess, make sure to take a look further before buying.
Edge support is a popular measure for those that like to sit on the edge of their mattress. Others aren't as tied to it as a end-all for a good mattress. These mattresses are not as supportive overall, so if edge support is very important to you make sure to do some additional research.
Brands that have good quality control and materials will likely also have good durability. Some folks may find issues if companies don't have these attributes. Unfortunately, these mattresses get mixed reviews from customers on durability. Some folks report a cozy night's sleep, but others have had comfort issues over a shorter than average time frame. Make sure to do some extra research before buying.

BI have had my Rip Van Winkle Natural Dreams with Luxury Cashmere King bed for 12 years. Many could say that is a long life span however I would like to provide long term customer experience details. Extreme sagging from year 1. Called Sealy's where purchased and they came out and said natural use. Ridiculous. Offered me store credit of $1000 on a $5000 King Mattress.
2. This mattress is so darn heavy that it would take 3-4 strong adults to move it (I've moved 4 times in 12 years...everyone says it's the heaviest mattress to move)
3. After point 2 was made, can you imagine flipping and rotating this bed on your own? It takes 2 adults and still is ridiculous.
4. In addition to sagging it forms to your body so to speak so after 3 years it has looked like a body shape of a 200 lb woman and hump in the middle and a less dented body shape of a 160lb man. This causes lots of cumbersome rotating & flippingwhich is very difficult.
5. I've reached my life span of a $5000 (price paid on sale) mattress with a 25 year warranty after 12 years.
6. I'm currently mattress shopping and can buy a new Sealy for 1/3 of the price and not care if lasts 5-7 years.
Bought a aireloom mattress 6 months ago from sit and sleep. Worst mattress I have ever owned. Sags so bad that I wake up with a backache every morning. Sis and sleep well not do a thing about it
My husband and I have never been so cozy comfortable. We have the split king with adjustable base.
I immediately was relieved from hip pain that I had from a fairly new Temperpedic mattress.
The only complaint we have is: WE DON'T WANT TO GET OUT OF BED IN THE MORNING.
We purchased our Aireloom Chantille Ultra Plush Euro Top Eastern King mattress from Mancini's in Mountain View, CA., Nov. 2012. What had sold us on spending $8101.00 on a mattress was that when we tested it in the showroom we did not feel the movement of our partner. For us, who are light sleepers, this is a major deal. Our body was supported and it was very comfortable. A bit too high for us, so we exchanged the tall box spring for one that was several inches shorter.
We received that mattress and straight away there was a problem. Not Mancini's problem, we would need to contact an independent inspector (Premier Inspection Services,LTD.), at our expense, to analyze the mattress and make a recommendation. He did, and basically said that the problem was in our head.
Here it is 2016 and the mattress still does not live up to the mattress that we tested in the showroom. The shape is trapezoidal, and we feel every movement that our partner makes. Rolling over, change in position, sneezing and coughing are all felt by the other.
We feel gypped and misled. How could we have been so stupid. We could have purchased a cheaper mattress and changed it out when it no longer was comfortable.
We initially bought a tempurpedic based on many recommendations. 30 days later and my back was an absolute mess. I could hardly move and I was at the chiropractor 6 times in 30 days. The chemical smell was horrible and I was sweating my butt off. My wife could not bear to sleep in it. I even had my kids jump on it to try to 'break it in'.
So, we went back to the store and the sales person was very helpful in assisting with the problems that we were having. My wife stumbled across the Aireloom mattresses and suggested I try it out. I fell in love with the support and comfort immediately. The price kind of scared me initially, but with 30 days of hell behind me, I was up for anything. I like the fact that there are many 'real' materials in this mattress and it is not a cookie cutter mattress made out of chemicals. The delivered the mattress promptly and our first night was heaven. Support, cool and comfort. We noticed immediately that when the two of us were in the middle of the bed, there was considerable sag to the mattress. I was kind of perplexed by this until I was on the floor playing with our dog and my wife and kids were horsing around in the bed. I noticed that there was significant flex in the box spring support slats when they were rolling around on the bed. Being an amish bed frame, the box is supported by 3/4 inch oak slats that run from side to side. I made up support blocks positioned under the slats in the middle of the bed and the problem was rectified. This bed is as comfortable today as it was the day we bought it.
This is so interesting....A couple of years ago, my mom gave me her brand new, Aireloom Hybrid Bamboo mattress as she decided to purchased a different size (mine is a queen). I live in an older building, and there is a place in my bedroom floor where it's uneven, so when I started to feel like I had to roll uphill to turn over in bed, I figured it was the floor, not the mattress; however, my handyman used his balance to show me that the floor underneath my bed is indeed level, which was so baffling to me, as I feel as though I am sleeping in a ditch when I am on my side of the bed.
I have a solid platform bed, with storage drawers, so it can't be chalked up to an unsteady base or bed frame. I stumbled upon this site accidentally this evening, while researching mattresses, and am now 100% convinced that my mattress is to blame, and I am not crazy.
Not only that, but the mattress weighs about a million pounds, and sits inside the platform, so that changing the fitted sheet is akin to a strenuous gym workout. Just lifting the mattress is ridiculous. Once, while lifting the corner, I felt the fabric tear, on the underside of the mattress.
My mom kept telling me how expensive the mattress was, that it was a really good mattress. I can't lie; it's super cushy and comfortable, but the sagging is beyond annoying. I have propped it up under one side with books/magazines to even it out, but I can promise you I won't be spending my own money on an aireloom, when I am ready to replace this one.
When we tried this bed in the store my husband felt very comfortable as soon as he laid on it. I felt like it was a little firm, but thought I could get use to it. From the first night it has been a nightmare for both of us. We are exhausted! My back, shoulders, hips ache. It has gotten so bad after two weeks I have gone to the spare bedroom. My husband is not sleeping well and it feels like only after two weeks there is already a body impression on his side of the bed. He feels that the bed sleeps hot. I have not noticed that yet. Very disappointed overall.
Do not even think of buying an airloom bed. We bought one from Macys in Oceanside. It began to sag within about a month or two.
Made the mistake of waiting too long to call the company. You have 90 days. After that, they came out and agreed that it sagged , but since it wasn't over an inch and a half they would not take it back. Actually the bed sagged an inch and the box spring sagged another 1/2 inch which equals the 1 1/2 inches but since the box spring was involved they would not take it back. Macy's refused to help. We sold the bed less than a year later with over a $3000.00 loss.
My advice is do not get involved with Airloom.
I purchased an Aireloom Mattress. The store that I bought it from no longer carries Aireloom. The inspector from the independent inspection company determined that the mattress failed. Originally, Linda Menzel from Aireloom wanted me to spend about $1420 to ship the mattress to California from New Jersey and back. When I pointed out that they had a plant in PA, Ms. Menzel stated that it would cost $620 to ship the mattress to and from PA.
When I accepted their offer to ship the mattress to PA, Aireloom wanted me to sign an agreement not to disparage as well as waive any future legal rights. After questioning Ms. Menzel, she stated that even if the mattress were defective when it was returned to me, I could not sue Aireloom. By adding the requirement of not to disparage and to waive all future rights, they violated the terms of their warranty and thus defrauded me.
In my opinion, Aireloom is a terrible company to deal with because they do not honor their warranty. If they did this to me, do you think they will treat you any differently?
I bought an aireloom mattress from OC mattress in Costa Mesa CA. Was told when I bought this that there was no memory foam, but alas this was untrue. After purchase I noticed heat retention and complained to the store and manufacturer. Found out that it contained 7% memory foam. After several months have noticed sagging and 'holes.'' Paid lots of money and disappointed. Would not recommend.
If you're researching a new mattress please read the above reviews and DO NOT buy an Aireloom product. Like the others above have written within weeks my wife and I found our new mattress to be forming deep depressions. We called Aireloom and they sent an inspector and the results were that the 'holes' were within expected body depressions. That's the last Aireloom I'll ever buy. Absolute junk.
3 years ago my husband and I made the trek out to our local mattress retailer. We were buying two mattresses - one for personal use and the other for a duplex for our parents. Decided on two Sertas when at the last moment.....I spotted the Aireloom. I had to test it and I fell in love. It was the most comfortable bed I had ever tried! But alas, the honeymoon period ended and we were left with a mattress that had some serious sagging issues after only 3 years. Some might say that is a good life for a mattress but I have to point out the only two other mattresses we have purchased for personal use lasted at least 10 years each and with no sagging. We only replaced them because we wanted to try newer models. Aireloom - I wanted to love you! Love you for being handmade, being the cushiest bed on the showroom floor, for being the sexiest in looks and for being handmade in CA. Sorry but I can love you no more. Moving on to a new lover.
I wish I had ready reviews like these before spending over $3000 on our Aireloom in 2012. We expected this mattress to last 20-25 years. When we first got the mattress I couldn't have been more satisfied. It was firm, supportive and so good for my bad back recovering from surgery. Within a few months I noticed I was making a sag in the bed. I tried moving around in the bed more and that helped for a while but now my husband and I are so miserable sleeping in this bed that we can't wait to replace it. We have flipped it end to end but I'd rather return to an old fashioned innerspring mattress that I can flip over. It just makes sense that with more sleeping surface the mattress will last longer. I will for sure NEVER spend $3K on a mattress again.
I have had a real problem with sciatica over the last couple of years. While this mattress has not prevented it, better body pressure distribution seems to have really helped. I don’t wake up in the AM tired and feeling achey.
Macy's was a pleasure to work with throughout and the mattress has been very comfortable so far.
We had been looking for a new mattress for over 2 years, and finally landed on the Airloom Hybrid. Already on the first night, I noticed when I woke up in the middle of the night, my hip and shoulder pain I would typically feel before I rolled to the other side was gone! This mattress really takes the pressure off.
I took my time to find the right bed for my needs and really liked the Aireloom Hybrid. When I returned to buy it, my salesperson was tied up with another customer so that allowed me a good half hour to lie on the bed to make sure it was the one for me. Within 2 weeks of owning the mattress I noticed it wasn't springing back into shape. I've only owned it a month now and it has such deep depressions from my body (and I'm only 5' tall and 115 lbs!) that it feels almost as uncomfortable as my old mattress and is hurting my back. I've informed the salesperson I worked with that I'll be returning this one and hoping she can find something that will work as well as I hoped the Aireloom would. Highly disappointed.
Tried this bed 3 times at Macy’s laid on it , sales women was great she recommended this bed I looked at a few in mac
We tried 3 different mattresses in 3 months before picking this one. The others were either too firm or too soft, but this one was absolutely perfect. Plush, but with the right amount of support. Finally getting the best nights sleep. Waking up feeling rested, and not sore. If you are picky about your mattress, this is the one to try....you wont regret it.
Love this mattress, so comfortable, soft, best sleep in a long time.
Shopping for a new mattress had turned into a nightmare, between pop up stores and online beds in a box/bag I'd given up. Then I thought Macy's that were my parents would go. Our salesman was great listened to our needs and pointed us to several options, gave us the time we needed to decide. Delivery and set up was a breeze. Great mattress! ! Love it.
Very comfortable, conforms to body for a comfortable night sleep. I have spinal problems and this has been a big help. It lets me toss and turn with no problems. I tried many mattress' in the store, and this one worked. The salesman was wonderful it took us 2 hours and many jumping from mattress to mattress, his patience was above and beyond.
My purchase could not have been accomplished without the help of the OUTSTANDING Members of the Macy's team in San Francisco at Union Square. Their care and attention to my unique needs and wishes got this very important purchase accomplished. Lili Spagnoletta helped me this time and with my previous mattress over 15 years ago. For this purchase she got her Customer Service Manager Lori to help secure financing options. They Really Care!
We tested out this bed in the store and it was, by far, the most comfortable! We tried at least a dozen beds that were 5X the cost and this one was the best. The delivery was seamless and we can't wait to sleep on this tonight!
Took a couple of days to get use too, since I was sleeping on a mattress over 20 years old. Now I love it, and would definitely recommend it. Also had great delivery service on a very hot day!
It's firm and yet soft. Very comfortable! Great Buy!
It’s been exactly one year since purchase. Have called for questionablydefect internally. Mattress sags on one side causing excessive backache for me yet other side is firm. My weight 215 lbs. we purchased for a it being firm and king size. Compared to a foam inner coil mattress purchased in 2003, now 2019, this mattress is better built and low indentation of body points on bed. For the Airloom, I have to wake up completely to turn over. Yet when testing was done on Airloom, it was visually different between side and what measurement that was taken only involved a string pulled taught across mattress and a card with lines drawn to distinguish body indentation. There wasn’t any weighted pressure on points where indents were to measure any foam or spring collapse. I have now received letter from company I purchased from saying it meets standards under warranty. I’m doing a follow up for better practices to measure internal, not visual, of mattress. Over $4000 spent with less than 1 year of use. My queen foam/coil mattress after 16 years outperforms the Airloom and my back doesn’t hurt.
I have owned my Aireloom mattress for about 11 years. I called and emailed customer service and never received an answer. After 3 weeks of trying, I finally reached someone who was extremely rude. I weigh 110 pounds and the indentation of my body is so deep that I can't move at night. When I asked if they have any kind of warranty they said they can't guaranty anything, without asking what the problem is. I would not suggest purchasing this procuct
I really wanted to love my AIRLOOM CORONADO mattress. I wanted to support the local California business and own a handcrafted bed. But what happened is that I wasted $5000 and now have a giant piece of trash in my bedroom that I have to dispose of. After only 4 months, I noticed the mattress was starting to sag but I didn't despair because the mattress has a warranty. But this is just a scam because it took multiple phone calls and emails to get Airloom to send out a mattress inspector. This inspector makes all the movements of performing an inspection, taking measurements and photos. But, in the end, Airloom does nothing. Like other unfortunate customers, I will be returning to the mattress store to purchase something with a better reputation.
It's disappointing how the quality of this mattress doesn't match its price. This mattress sags and has given my husband and I lower back problems. I didn't realize how the bed was causing my lower back problems until I had to travel for work a few weeks ago and the very first night back, my lower back pain started again. We've also attempted to rule out other problems (sleep with pillow support between knees when sleeping on the side, sleep without a pillow when sleeping on back, put a small pillow underneath knees when sleeping on back) to no avail. My husband and I have gone to chiropractors for alignments, yet the lower back problems persist; we've concluded that the issue is the bed and have already ordered a new mattress from another provider. Good riddance!
Worst mattress ever for the money. The tufted buttons make it very uncomfortable.
We bought the King size Liberty mattress about 10 months ago. Everything about the purchase was great--customer service, prompt shipping and easy set up. The bed is so comfortable that I still can't wait to jump into bed at night. Some minor shoulder and hip aches I had from sleeping on my old mattress are gone. We are so happy with our Liberty mattress that we will be buying another within a few months for a vacation home.View More Reviews
After having slept on the Liberty mattress for a couple of weeks, I have no complaints with the quality or comfort of the mattress. It's a 100% better then any spring mattress we have ever had. I was a little worried about comfort with the memory foam mattress, but that was subsided after the first night of sleep on the Liberty mattress. There was little to no smell that will eventually dissipitate. I would highly recommend this bed!!!
We bought this in Jan of 2013 and it is the best mattress we have ever had. It has been over a year and we still are receiving the best sleep ever.
I have owned the king size version of this mattress for about 2 years now. Some things to consider:
1. This mattress will sleep warmer than a traditional mattress because the memory foam retains a lot of heat. I purchased a breathable mattress protector that helped to some extent. I have gotten used to it but for some hot sleepers this will be an annoyance.
2. Memory foam will wear over time and lose some of its stiffness just like any cushioning. I combat this by changing the orientation every few months and try sleeping in different areas of the mattress.
Hope this helps with your decision making
We liked this bed so much we bought a second one for our daughter and son in law. It is wonderful! The best bed we ever bought!
we've had our mattress for over a year now. It is nothing but fantastic. We had the Tempurpedic bed that didn't work.no more aches and total comfort.
Bought this mattress about a year ago and the aches and pains are gone. It is very comfortable. A little firmer than i usually prefer, but nothing to complain about. Beats paying 3x the price for one.
The mattress is so comfortable. I used to have a back ache when slept on my old mattress. After switch to this new one, every morning when I woke up, there was no back ache any more. Another good thing for having this mattress is that I was often woke up by my husband when he went to bathroom at night, sleep on this mattress, I can sleep all night long without any disturbing from my husband (he's happy about his as well).
The shipping was on time. We are very happy with Amerisleep.
Through word of mouth I was told to check out the Liberty Bed to replace my old worn spring mattress. Hesitant at first since I couldn't lay on it before buying, I placed the order and shipping was extremely fast. Arriving in a few days and rolled like a giant burrito. I have owned this bed for two years now and still feels just as new every night. Since I was told to purchase the Liberty, I have told several others to do the same and a few of my friends have thanked me for the recommendation. If you're looking for comfort and don't want to wake up when your partner moves around, I definitely recommend the Liberty. Seriously the best nights rest, with the most comfort imaginable. Currently have a Queen, though am definitely moving up to the King size soon enough.
Very comfortable mattress! Best investment made. I do not get hot while sleeping. It's actually very cool and firm. Not an uncomfortable firm, it's soft, but conforms to my body. Great purchase! Highly recommend!
This is best purchase I ever made. It's so comfortable I sleep thru the whole night, which I haven't done years!
Do yourselves a favor and don't buy this bed, or any of the 2014 Amerisleep models on Amazon I am guessing. We were going to buy the liberty bed off of the companies website but then found this bed on here for much less. We saw that it was last years model but it seemed like a no brainer since how much can a bed differ from one year to the next?! Well, apparently the answer to that is A LOT.
The bed is very, very stiff. I am shocked it can be considered memory foam actually. We have had the mattress for a little over a month and both of us wake up stiff and in pain almost every morning. We don't look forward to going to bed and it's gotten to a point where we would rather sleep in our guest room instead.
We found ourselves in Scottsdale a couple weeks ago and went into the Amerisleep store to ask some questions and lay on the other beds to see if maybe we just got a defective bed or something. The beds in the store were COMPLETELY different than ours. These ones were awesome! After we told the sales guy that we bought it off of Amazon he informed us that, in fact, the 2014 and the 2015 models are very different and the 2014 models are much stiffer than they are now. He was very nice and offered up some options to help with the problem such as a memory foam topper, which I would suggest if you already bought this bed and can't return it. It sounded like if we had bought the bed from them directly the return process would have been near seamless but since it was from Amazon we would have to spend around $200-$300 to send it back. We decided to spend the money and send it back to get the new model from them.
We had to learn our lesson the hard way so don't make the same mistake and just buy the newer models directly from them instead.
As many others have stated, I was also worried about ordering a mattress online without being able to try it out. However, I did a lot of research and read A LOT of reviews prior to purchasing the bed so I had an idea of what to expect. We have only had our bed for a few days but we LOVE it. It is a tad firmer than I would have initially chosen but the support is fantastic and the bed is very comfortable. It is a major upgrade from our old inner spring mattress. The price is also a major plus for us. We were looking to upgrade our bed without breaking the bank and we are both so glad we decided to order the 2014 model through Amerisleep on Amazon rather than pay almost twice as much for a 2015 model on the website. Overall, I would highly recommend this mattress to anyone looking to upgrade to a memory foam bed :)
I did a lot of research before ordering the Liberty from Amerisleep because I had trepidation about ordering a mattress online. I wanted to purchase from a manufacturer that focused on eco-friendly practices and minimizing toxins in their product, and have comfort and quality without paying thousands of dollars. In short, I am so glad I took the leap! I had read some reviews that mentioned slow service and customers not receiving their orders for several weeks. I think that may have been at a time when Amerisleep was growing too fast to keep up with demand because my mattress arrived three days after ordering it. The entire process was seamless and quick. Best of all, the mattress is very comfortable for my body. I have chronic whiplash injury and SI joint problems and would consistently have trouble finding comfort with my previous mattress, but felt relief from night one sleeping on the Liberty. I can't tell you what a gift that is! So speaking from my personal experience, I would highly recommend this product.
I purchased this bed directly from Amerisleep. I gave them one star as I question their honesty and integrity as a company. As mentioned in a previous post, all the reviews here are likely fake. All of them were created between March 4th-6th by members with only one review. A bought this bed from their site after reading these review. This bed was purchased for health reasons. The reviews sing high praises for this bed, but once it arrived, the bed did not feel any better than a cheap Novaform at Costco costing 1/3 as much. Not only that, their charged me the incorrect amount, and their customer service was not equipped to solve the problem for me until after 4-5 phone calls later.
Before purchasing this bed, please go through the reviews and check their validity for yourself. Beware of Amerisleep.
First of all, I find it EXTREMELY SUSPICIOUS that 90% of the reviews were all published around March 4, 5 timeframe. Almost nothing before and almost nothing after. Maybe everyone decided to rate online the same couple of days but it sure seems odd.
I bought the Amerisleep Liberty in January (king size). I will agree with the comments that the customer service is very good. I actually bought the bed from the Amerisleep website (sorry Amazon). A couple of days after the purchase, I noticed it was on sale for $100 less. I called them and they very readily agreed to refund me the $100. Being the skeptic that I am, I asked for them to send me written confirmation for my $100 refund. Time went by, and no refund. I called again, forwarded them the email and was given my refund. So customer service was good. A little hiccup with the timing of the refund, but mostly good.
As for the bed, I had previously owned a King Koil bed I bought from Rooms to Go. Terrible Bed. Within 4 years, we had 2 inch sink holes where my wife and I sleep. We had to get a new bed! We really loved the Savant bed but we were super excited to $2000 for a mattress. We eventually found Amerisleep and decided to take a gamble and buy it.
The bed is somewhat comfortable. I don't love it and I don't hate it. We turn the bed 90 degrees about every 2 months to make sure we break in the entire bed. It does give a little where you sleep which causes mild back pain. My wife seems to like it more than me. Overall, the bed is fine. We will have it for years to come, but I still look forward to sleeping on hotel beds which I find MUCH more comfortable.
I've had the Liberty bed for over 4 months now and it is great! I previously slept on an inner spring mattress and the change in comfort level with my new memory foam Amerisleep mattress is remarkable. No more aches and pains in the morning. It was a big decision to make this kind of purchase on line but I'm glad I did. I saved a lot of $$ over other name brands and I think the quality is just as good if not better.
Just a great mattress. We get a great nights rest on it every night!!
We have purchased the "name brand" memmory foam before, but this is every bit as good with a way better VALUE!!!
We highhly reccommend it!!
Previous to getting the Amerisleep Liberty, I slept on a soft-sided waterbed for 10+ years which I actually liked very much. The memory foam isn't quite as soft as my old waterbed, but still very comfortable. It conforms to and supports the body very well without pressure points. Compared to the competition, this mattress was 1/4 the cost. I highly recommend it.
My husband and I bought this mattress and LOVE IT! We were having a hard time sleeping well on our old spring mattress which was not supportive enough for us. We pondered long and hard on which Amerisleep mattress to buy (we went to a store that sold Temperpedic mattresses and compared their different models, which are comparable to all the Amerisleep models....Ssssh!). Anyways, we chose this mattress and have loved it since day 1. Hope this helps!!!
My husband hated this mattress for 3 days and I hated it for about 3 weeks. We thought a memory foam mattress would be the best option for our new adjustable base. We were already using a memory foam topper and memory foam pillows and loved them. We also loved the fact that these were made in the USA and had a 20 year warranty. We were cautioned that after sleeping on spring mattresses our whole lives, a memory foam would take some time to adjust. This was definitely the case with us. My husband had a back ache every morning with our old mattress. After 3 days of sleeping on this mattress, his back aches stopped. I, on the other hand, never had backaches until sleeping on this new memory foam mattress. I had aches in various places for about 3 weeks. Everyone kept saying it was because my body needed to adjust to the support provided by this mattress. Apparently they were right, because the aches stopped after the 3rd week. Some say memory foam mattresses are hotter to sleep on. However, that has not been the case with this Amerisleep mattress. We did experience a very strong odor with this mattress when it first arrived. After several weeks and a few tricks, it is much better now. Overall, we feel we made the right decision and would choose this mattress again.
We own three. Started with one for my teenage son. He loved it. Next for a daughter, who goes to bed early most nights, then hubby and I purchased one for ourselves. Ours is firmer and we love it. My kids want to take theirs to college!
I have chronic back pain. My old mattress left me in pain every morning. I tried a sleep number bed with no success then I tried the Liberty mattress by Amerisleep. My first reaction was that the mattress was to hard but after I got used to the feel I am very happy with the purchase. I sleep well every night and no longer wake with sever back pain. I highly recommend this mattress to people with chronic back pain.
I ordered this about 16 months ago - after the summer season - hoping I would not roast "in" its lovely eco-friendly foam, like I had when I tried a new "gel-infused" name-brand mattress. What a great summer I had! Comfort without the heat. This was also a great company to order from on-line. The delivery man delivered the "tube" into my house where a neighbor and I "popped it open" to reveal in a very few seconds a lovely mattress. I also like the "velour" finish of the boxspring. The whole experience was and continues to be GREAT.
I am so pleased I decided to purchase this mattress from Amerisleep. I have no more back pain. It is all natural materials. It is made in the United States. It was easy to unpack. It looked exactly as pictured. It is so much more comfortable than our sleep number. Thank you Amerisleep for a great product!
I've had this mattress for about 3 months now and so far so good! It was slightly softer than expected but still has plenty of support and my back has been thanking me for it. The only downside is that the mattress is so comfortable it's sometimes hard to get out of bed in the morning.
I ordered a liberty mattress 2 years ago and have loved it ever since. It has helped tremendously with my sleep comfort, my back and sleeping through the night. The only issue I have occasionally is the heat retention when I am not sleeping alone, but I just sleep with a lighter sheet and no blanket to resolve that. I love the product, the pillows and the sheets!
I was sceptical about purchasing a memory foam mattress online having never owned one or slept on one before. All my research led me to Amerisleep. I purchased a King sized Liberty mattress after visiting a local mattress store to experience first hand the comparable mattresses which Amerisleep advertises.
I chatted with a sales rep and ordered the Liberty. I received it promptly, as promised, and slept on it the first night.
- Off gassing. There was none. If anything there was a slight odor but nothing that was noticeable enough to affect sleep.
- Comfort. The mattress holds you in place and really conforms well to your body. I sleep on my back, side, and stomache and regardless of position this mattress provides a great deal of support and comfort.
- Coolness. Some complaints about memory foam mattresses in general are that they tend to "sleep hot", however the Liberty is cool and comfortable.
I have recommended the Liberty to family and friends and I am a very satisfied customer.
We've had the bed only 6 weeks, so I give it 4 stars solely because I cannot evaluate its long-term durability. We use a 3" mattress topper, too, because we had bought it in the hope of extending the life of our inner-spring mattress. When that did not work, we kept the topper to use on the Amerisleep mattress, which seems to make our combination of Liberty model and topper very much like the top of the line Amerisleep model. It has eliminated the pressure point problem in my hips, and I sleep better than I have for many years. Even though it's a king size, my 70+ year-old wife and I were able to drag it to the bedroom and get it situated on our frame. It did not off-gas noticeably, and it does not sleep hot. It is a bit harder to move around in than an inner-spring mattress, but that's not a serious problem given its otherwise greater comfort.
I bought this mattress to ease my back pain - it is great! I'm about 130 lbs and sleep on the queen size bed with my significant other who weighs about 165. We are both usually very comfortable. We used to sleep on a spring mattress and would wake up a lot at night. Now we sleep through the night and it is extra difficult to get out of this comfy bed in the morning.
I must say, I have been sleeping in pain for 10 years until a friend suggested the Liberty bed from Amerisleep. Best decision I've made! I sleep so soundly and wake up with no pain. It's the perfect combination of firmness and soft that I couldn't even ask for more of either. Their customer service is unparalleled and their deals are truly unbeatable. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for the perfect mattress!
I have had this Amerisleep 12" Liberty mattress for about 6 months now and I couldn't be happier! I sleep great every night at home, but anytime I travel and sleep at hotels I never get the same quality sleep as I do at home on my Liberty bed. It's plush will good support that makes you feel weightless. I highly recommend this mattress, it's worth every penny.
You cant find memory foam this high quality for this reasonable price else where. think it was ordered to make so it took 2 weeks to come. it came in rolled up, compact package that looks cool. My back problem went away after switching. i believe this one is medium firm which is perfect for me.
My wife and I love this bed. We got the california king, and it is just the right amount of soft (the Liberty bed is the second softest bed in the Amerisleep line, and its perfect). The dimensions are great as well, so there is plenty of room for individual sleeping and cuddling comfort.
The only potential negative about this bed is that it is extremely difficult to move once it is set (it arrives in a cardboard 'tube' shape, which you then cut open and it unravels into your bed). So, if you are someone who is going to be moving/relocating a lot, etc, then I would not recommend this bed unless you are comfortable with some hassle when moving. If, however, you are ready for a long term bed that is awesome, GET this one.
I was experiencing back pain from arthritis and had to do something. This memory foam mattress along with their adjustable bed solved most of my pain and has allowed me to get a good nights sleep. Best decision I ever made when it comes to sleeping. I tried other mattresses, they just didn't work.

We had highly considered a Tempurpedic but the cost was so high we decided to look at other options. That's when we stumbled upon Amerisleep. We had a fantastic employee named Brandon help us out. He helped us figure out what bed would be right for us and made the entire process easy and enjoyable. The bed is fantastic. It took my back a few months to get used to but that was to be expected. Once my back adjusted I have slept fantastic ever since. The support and formation to my back is exactly what I needed. They also provide the same warranty on their beds as Tempurpedic but we paid about a fourth of what they cost. Great company, great product.
